Hey bro the shield wall formation don't work for the new patch I can't find a mod that is up to date that use the Roman shield wall sadly the eagle rising didn't do well on the wall formation the unit don't raise their shield over Thier head to create a perfect testudo formation for shield wall sadly the old mods no longer support the new version of M n B if you know any modder please help update the old mod or made one that is up to date 🙏😊

Unless one of your mods changed it, you dont need to go into a town to check for tournaments, you can see an icon (a helmet) next to the exclamation mark if there is a tournament going on
I started at the and went through to tier 5.....then I was asked by the lord to be on his personal guard. Went from regular enlisted to the T6 of the noble troop line! Was a nice gear upgrade and a huge pay bump 😎
Check out Marius’ Mules by SJA Turney, I’ve read the eagles of the empire series like 5 or 6 times and it’s the closest I’ve been able to come, it’s basically a book set 100 years before macro but with someone who could very well be his great-great-grandpa from how he is as a character

The reason she says "huh? How did you get in here" is because she is in the keep and in order to have that conversation normally you would have had to bribe a guard to get in. I am glad they included that though because the lord I was in a party with was defeated and the join army option was just greyed out, making it so the timer almost ran down to nothing before I hopped into a different army. The downside to joining a different one is that you will lose all the progress you made in Rhagea's (meaning you will need to kill 3 or whatnot soldiers all over again to level) Also, if you level up and the heavier armor you get starts to weigh you down to the point of falling far behind the infantry line when they charge you can always change that athletics perk back to the the other one for more speed in the Edit Hero menu from character reset. It's still a little cheaty though so hopefully the athletics skill you get from training will make the point moot

Quintinius is his name, which is the same as his father's or one of his ancestors and Cato would be his cognomen, is like a nickname to diferenciate him from other people, which is also hereditary. so your clan should be called Lucinii
I started a game mode very familiar to this as well, since I love the Roman Legion, I named my Character "Arminius Marcellus Scipio" safe to say mods always make this game fun. Especially with game of thrones mods.

You can tell if there's a tournament in a city by looking to the right of the name. at 18:18 there is a small orange helmet to the right of Onira, signaling that there is a tournament going on. useful tip for you all just in case yall didn't know
The A.I did not wait to attack 170 vs Xhundred because when A.I attack it is not an instant battle, it takes time on the campaign map during which that 452 army would have been able to catch up and join. Since you the player are involved the move that would have been smart for A.I becomes dumb.
I know your putting a lot of points into one handed and athletics and honestly I agree because as a legionaire you will be using a sword and shield a lot and you want to get as many kills as possible to rank up, but I also advice putting some points into throwing. Why? Because you're definitely going to be throwing a lot of pila in this playthrough so yeah, just a bit of advice.
any mod that allows for longer and larger battles is fun for me. I did this all the time in mount and blade warband. added a mod that removed or raised the cap for how many units could be on the battlefield, improved ai mod and, larger armies. needles to say I lost most of my battles, but darn if it wasn't fun.
I feel like serve as soldier is really only enjoyable if you enjoy the roleplay aspect of it and are comfortable with relinquishing control to some degree of randomness. Like getting 1 kill in a battle seems appropriate if you think about it realistically and not from the normal game logic where you are a one-person killing machine. Personally enjoy it but to each their own.
In case you haven't learned yet, It's not enough to have your shield raised. you have to point it toward the source of the damage. Watching you point your "raised" shield toward the ground or off to the left while you're under arrow volley directly in front of you gave me so much anxiety. Good content nevertheless!
i wish there was a campaign map multiple people could play on and have the ability to let players fight in player owned armies drop in/drop out or player owned armies fighting with/against each other

For those wondering how to make CA Rising work with the Caladria Expanded Kingdoms mod you have to download the CA Rising Patch I had trouble getting empire levys to show up instead of imperial servus. Hey Jackie, just wondering i have downloaded some mods from the nexus hub and placed them into my modules folder, but i get constant crashes. It appears to be the "Mod-Library" mod but not quite sure how to get it working? It is the latest version too. Any help would be ideal! Thanks
How about no HUD mod ? Makes it harder, more immersive and pleasant to look at. Besides disabling crosshair and stuff you (which you can do ingame), it disables the health bar, so you have to judge by the blood spilled by you if you might be able to take a hit or not. Especially for this well known mod from warband where you play single soldier it puts the bar much higher as you have to judge the battle around you and not just abuse some opening in enemy defenses, because your army might very well be on the retreat without you knowing.

there is a mod that is doing continues campaign map like in bannerlord online. ITs called Real Spacetime Continuum Mod and its great.
