@@Xubairr Dear, one who performs well in the exam and interview will be selected.. Phd candidate has 5 points more than a simple pg student but at the same time he has to revise all the stuff from scratch whereas a fresher is already having a good command over the syllabus,so it's easy for a non PhD student to excell in exam... Hard-work pays off always.. I am also a simple MSc student in chemistry,we have to make extra efforts only.. May be a PhD candidate is not able to qualify the written.. it's all upto you how much efforts are you putting into..
