I went up to Fox valley coins today in Naperville Illinois to sell some stuff but Mike the guy who helped me was kind enough to pull out his xrf machine and test the metal composition of a 20-17 Lincoln penny that I found in circulation it's not approved obviously I know how to tell the difference but to my amazement it was 98% copper look for it to be a heritage auction in a couple months after it gets back from PCGS
