I love your channel. I actually got one of those stretchers by watching this video. Was wondering if you have ever used spray starch to keep your hat shape? I usually wear mine backwards and don’t like it to be wrinkled and wanted to know if you would recommend it for a perfect shape.
@@19pimp the hats that fit me aren't too tight and aren't too loose. Sometimes you'll have to break them in and wear them in the rain to get them like that.
@deleteexistence6175 absolutely 100% true I just bought a exclusive Dodgers hat 7 3/8 from cap city and fits hella tight more like a 7 1/4 there are some that fit perfect others that don't match ur head I'm going to give this method a shot
Do what i do find a pot in the kitchen thats a lil bigger than than the wize of ypur hat and force it over it and leave it for a few days works lime a charm
I got the opposite problem I got a cooperstown jays 96 all blue that’s a size or two too big. just ordered the lil felt hat tabs to make it fit. Really learn ur size guys. if ur head is shaved and the hat is really tight it’s too small, go a size up.
Everybody has 2 sizes I feel. Me personally am a 7 3/8 but if I curve the brim I can go down to a 7 1/4 But I have 3/8 that fit like a 1/2 And I have 1/4 that feel like 1/8 so it is kinda hard to tell.
1. Curve the brim to give more room. If you did that in the first place you probably wouldn’t have even needed to steam and stretch it. 2. Does he not realize his hair will grow so the hat will fit eventually?
the problem was that it was a china made fitted so they are alot tighter then the bangladesh ones so curving the brim would not have made a difference. Also depends the color guts too. Alot of time black guts will be tighter then white or perhaps their is a thicker lining that affects how tight the hat is.
also this video is for people also who may have not known there size and ordered 1-2 sizes small, or the hat is just not consistent to how they are supposed to fit this method applies to them and works.
Fitted had =Punk/bro. Better have a wifey quality chick while wearing this. Otherwise if/when you get older, "Women" write of fitted hat guys as ignored men.

My size is 7 3/8 and I swear it's sooo bad. Sometimes they come looking like child sizes, sometimes they are massive. So inconsistent.
