@DevanOnDeck The steam definetly helps and to fix the crease in your fitted I recommend steaming it until its a decently damp and then put a few books on the brim overnight until its perfectly flat and then curve it again, it should work.

I’m work at lids, and when we curve fitted hats we use a steamer which generally softens the rim and avoids causin the curve issue. It’s also ensures the curve last long. Also u should use a cylinder like object to curve things instead of your hands or rubber bands. Hopefully that helps.😊
I’ve notice if u manually bend the brim with your hand , it also straightens out the top of the hat losing that stiff high hat and making it into a low hat like a baseball hat
Im glad that curved brims are back in style. I get tired of these young-ins telling me to get rid of the "redneck roll." My hats aren't even curved to that extreme. 🤷🏻♂️
Learned this in the military lol. You get the hang of it quickly cause you always need a couple of extra covers around as they magically go missing from time to time if you’re not careful.
Rolling them works just as well I’ve never got a cress in any of my hats never just bend the hat it’ll brake bill completely in half done that a few times in my life
I wear mine and gently fold from the sides. After a few wear and moisture from sweat it takes a nicer curve. Or steam it if you're worried about it getting too sweaty. I wear mine mostly for the function and not so much for the look.
Steam the brim for a few seconds take one of those tall metal flasks or tumblers, (or something that cylindrical and around that width) and fold brim around the mug I like to steam the brim again for a few seconds while it’s wrapped around the tumbler then just hold it like that for about 5 minutes and then let it go let it dry out and bam tbe perfect symmetrical brim every time
Hold a blow dryer 6 inches away on hot do both sides for 30sec then place centre on coffee cup and simultaneously apply pressure on both sides until flush with cup and hold for 30sec-1min
I’m too lazy to do it myself with a steamer (since it’s better) so I take it to my local fitted store that does it for 5 dollars. They got a special tool for it and it gets the PERFECT curve
They make fitted hats that are meant to bend and flat bills. Which you can never bend. It’s a baseball style fitted you can bend. They have a smaller bill
Just admitted you only wearing fitted hats cause they in style. That’s crazy to me I never stopped. I wear snap backs and fitteds and also you can buy fitteds that’s already curved.
I used to only wear fitted hats and never got a crease down the middle... looks like you folded that beak in half. I grab the edges of the beak and curl them in towards eachother and have never had that problem
Forgot to mention that a STEAMER helps this process tremendously 🔥
They have a curve band specifically for this , it’s a content creator who makes them
@Notxashamed
Hair dryer also
Where can i get the essentials hats

Man, the 90's must of just been different. Cause the art of the curve was taught at a young age
It was a right of passage.
Bro it’s a Jo-Jo remix
I did not realize the youths needed this to be taught to them. But I’m glad they now know.
It was a happier time that’s for sure
Us 90s kids missed that era 😭

I bet some people took that offense personally
Yeah. I came straight to the comments right after he said that lol

just wear it even if it not a trend lol😂
Kinda looks trashy, especially on us white guys😂

The JoJo's music hits even when subtle
Fr, thought no one else noticed
Can you do a video on head shapes for different hats, beanies, sombreros?? It’s getting chilly and I want to keep my head warm!
For chilly weather, a proper hat is better. Something like a fedora or homburg is great, but only if you're brave enough to look dapper

How much does it cost?
Last I checked it costs 8 dollars at lids but if the guy who works there is chill he’ll do it for free
I use a hydroflask and keep it on the hat for like 30 seconds
Same man I used my tall Stanley flask thingy
I use a steamer too. Always get a nice curve on all my hats.
Love this. I hate straight brim but that’s all I ever seem to find. This was awesome mate 😊

Remove all stickers!!? 90% of your viewers just left. 😂😂
Rubber band and steamer or brim curver and steamer would work just fine, also if you don’t have a steamer a hot towel compress would work
Thanks dude appreciate this
Back in the day lids had a brim shaper
Best TH-cam channel
Love the first step jajajajajjaj y’all looking goofy with them stickers on

That's dope thankyou
Gotta steam the brim my brotha
when you take it off put the the rubber band back on so it doesn’t loose it’s shape👍🏼
Great advice! 👍

This is amazing shockingly I bought a cap today
those are fireee 🔥🔥🔥.

At least 3 days or it goes flat again. Also steaming the peak while the band is on seems to help as well.
GOOD STUFF BRO
This is Gonna b so Helpful DoD🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Friday😀….
I love that Jojo’s music
I'm still an old school fitted/snapback flat brim style, however my dad hats and ,5 panels gotta have a bent bill!!
the fit is just so clean, but i’m scared i’ll ruin my hat 😂
Some dude on TH-cam made something to drive hats support him
Facts, I use the same method

You can still save that creased brim on that FOG fitted, just steam the brim on both sides, flatten it out, then recurve it.
Im in love with fog.
Thought you were gonna say and the result is OMGEEE

U can heat it too and use a water bottle like a voss bottle to bend it
Hold a blow dryer 6 inches away on hot do both sides for 30sec then place centre on coffee cup and simultaneously apply pressure on both sides until flush with cup and hold for 30sec-1min
Thanks I needed this for my work hat. Making me look real funny without this method😂
Steam the brim then press it against something round like spray bottle or a thermos
You handsome af and yeah I have creased a few hats lol
Obrigado

Steamers are definetly the most important part but if you dont have one, boil some water in a pot and use that, or use the steamer mode on your iron
Notx curve band
What type of New Era hat is that?
Fitted hats r back I feel like back in high school 🤓
There’s actually a product for specifically that on new era website
Bet I got some more fitted from hat club coming in
I like my fitted hats plain! No curve
Use a wide coffee mug and just place the bill inside. Trust me.
This
Plz can you make short for lab coat 🥼 I don’t know 🤷♂️ how to style it
I just use steamer and bend on a hydro flask perfect curve everytime
lovvve
You can use a steamer and a bottle too
notx Curve bands are a thing by the way!
Cool!
I used to curve the crap out of my fitted hats but then I realized that a slight curve fits my head shape way better
The jojo theme in the background though

I prefer flat bills. Just got my first fitted hat today, sadly ordered a size or two too big.
your hat looks like its gonna give you cte w how tight it looks
I’ve also seen a specific tool for this but not sure where to buy it
I fold the bill into the hat works every time no need for rubber bands and all that extra stuff
I wore a new era hat with denim and plaid visor so much that it ended up curving itself. Have to spray starch on it.
U should go get the notxcurveband
Only with Steam 👏✌️

use a steamer, wrap it around a big bottle w a rubber band and call it and curved fitted
You could save time n just buy a steamer. Don’t gotta worry about cracks especially wanting to wear it n having to wait a whole ass day.

You leave on the bands after you wash the hat and put out to dry.

Can someone tell me which hats they are?
Been doing that for a while. When I'm not wearing it the rubber band goes back until its worn again
If You don’t Have a steamer You Can use a Flat Iron
How does removing stickers improve the brim bending ability? Please educate me
The one way to do it without getting a rag and an iron. Thank you I no longer have to deal with messy hats
Come to the Chinese factory to customize hats, the price is very cheap❤
