I'm not sure if you guys already knew this, but District 9 exists as a district in the SKZ universe as a safe haven for all the people who need it, where negativity is kept out and you can be yourself and as different as you want. Their second tour is called 'District 9: Unlock' World Tour, where Bang Chan "unlocked" District 9 to personally invite everyone into their "special district"/concert. To me, it's really cool that such a special place in the fandom also happens to refer to their debut song. SKZ is just such a cohesive group in everything they do.
We definitely saw a piece of this with the MV, but had no idea that the meaning extended so far. That is so comforting for them to have created a safe haven like that. I absolutely love it 😭🥺

18:25 They were indeed making the wings formation. And it's like Chan is the center and his members are his wings because only with them he became able to fly (debut). They're kinda folded up because, as Stray Kids themselves said several times, Chan's the core that connects/unites everyone together and at the same time they are surrounding Chan to protect him. They still sometimes do different variations of this formation in their performances (like they do in Scars, a title track of their 2021 Japanese release)! 20:15 Well, it's obvious that becoming an adult is both positive and negative. Starting a career of an idol in adolescence is already hard, and being a member of a self-produced and self-made group is like getting even more responsibilities on your shoulders (as Han once said, Chan's shoulders are broad because he has a lot of weight to put on them). There are more Stray Kids songs about becoming an adult and I'd really like to recommend "19" (written by Han about turning 20 years old which is considered becoming an adult in Korea). 32:04 YES! when the first two songs mention adult/growing up a lot it reminds me of skz grow up and 19 they clearly have songs that comfort you in a way it shows that they understand you I personally love the messages they often put in their songs, my personal favorite is Voices it has a clear message and I'm glad they cover topics that are hard to talk about in their songs. I'm a multistan but feel more close to stray kids than a lot of groups and its amazing how much they have grew in terms of success and mentally
District 9 remindes me a litle bit of "the Giver" a book/movie about a perfect society where everithing is greyscale and emotions are not wanted. Everybody gets a injektion that surpresses emotions. The main character realises that and avoids the injetion. After that he starts to see the wold in color and starts questioning the society.
Ahh the memories of me discovering them came flooding in during 2020, as a 2nd Gen Stan, out of ALL the grps that come and go or exploded in popularity, SKZ was the one who ultimately caught my attention and easily became my Ult which is super rare to me because despite being a fan for a long time, it's all only on a casual level, before I discovered them I thought I will never be a true fanatic of something and was ready to let go until skz... Idk there's something so unique and definitely stands out from the rest in a sea of oversaturated grps of the genre, and everything else is cherry on top, while also knowing their flaws and everything but despite it all, well I'm just glad and happy they've given me my life a full of color and wonder, enjoy the ride as well too!!... 😭
I'm going to try really hard not to be too excited but, I genuinely love seeing people enjoy Stray Kids and actually take the time to dive into their discography. Very much looking forward to your reactions to them lol. Their first two bodies of work (Mixtape and I am: Not) were really focused around conversations of growing up and conformity (which they obviously still touch on in later music but, they were pretty centre in those two bodies of work). As someone who's the same age as the 2000 line, I think a big reason why I gravitated so hard to them was their relatability tbh. I just felt and understood so much of what they were discussing and, it deeply resonated with 17 year old me apparently because I'm still here almost 5 years later lol. Also, seeing these music videos again just makes me feel so nostalgic, especially since this was before they had the 'Stray Kids All Around the World' and 'You Make Stray Kids Stay' at the end of every video. Let me stop because this comment is already embarrassingly long but, I'm so excited to see you get into their earlier stuff! Idk if someone already mentioned this but district 9 mv and back door mv are kind of linked. In the back door mv, you see a lot of people in the background dressed in white (like how they were dressed in D9)… that’s representing the many more people they recruited to their district, district 9 🥹 it’s the most beautiful thing ever. They have subtle things like that in their mvs. Skz is honestly just a rabbit hole I can’t get out of ♥️. Absolutely love your reactions as always 🫰
It's nice to go from the beginning to see their growth. One thing that I find really interesting is how they have grown as producers. Their early stuff is definitely a lot more unrefined and I don't want to say simple, but their more recent stuff I think definitely has more layers. Also I think over the years they have found out how to best utilize the members different voices. Like Felix and Lee Know especially get parts that suit them more these days.
Yes! This is one of the main reasons we like to start from the beginning and work our way back up to more recent music. It's so much fun to see a groups growth and how they mature as artists ❤️.

Grr, spread my wings (and hellevator) along with I think four more songs (yayaya, glow, school life and 4419) make up for their mixtape album. The whole of that album was produced as various, projects? Or assignments (I'm forgetting the word I should use here) on their survival show and if I'm not wrong the choreography is also done by themselves too, essentially to show if they would survive as a self producing group or not. And I don't think we would lie if we say they killed it. Lee know did confirmedly choreograph hellevator, I won't think it's a stretch to think he did others too (if anybody could correct me if I'm wrong fellow stays) and that just shows how much of a dance master he is. Grrr got a new name and I believe it's a better translation of the Korean title: Beware. So you can also call the song Beware, hahaha. So if you're loving a song and you prefer the OT8 version, just look it up on one of the two albums. I believe only Beware and the Mixtapes from an album in the future got new names (I forgot which one), all the others are the same.

I loved it and I loved how you delved and understood not only the song messages but the continuity, it's one thing I love about skz, they tell stories and send messages using their songs!!! And you can "connect the songs" (and some MVs) to get a storyline though Stays do have different interpretations and stuff which is fine, skz themselves said that stays are free to interpret it their own way, but due to this there are different versions of skz storylines. @@NewChapterReactions The storyline is easy but the whole skz lore/world and the details will surely confuse you and I'll not be surprised cause there's different versions of skz and sometimes they get mixed up and stuff like I.N during Cle:Laventer, many stays believe he switched with his "other version/double" this era. Adding the fact that some of them have a power of sorts and I'll use I.N again for example...this baby is powerful cause he's like, the only one who sees what's really going on and the only one not easily affected by events, and there's Felix always has keys or compass, and etc that I'll let you discover and be confused about (of course help make sense if I can). They have had a map to if I'm not mistaken, it's from mixtape pre-debut era to Cle:Laventer (it's called Map for the Broken Compass and you can Google it) and like a short video on their channel to guide you of the basic storyline (I think they called it prequel: highlight reel) Of course you could possibly have your own version, one that would make sense and relate/resonate with you and that's fine too.
The lyrics of district 9 talking about themselves and breaking out of moulds the audience has put them into also makes me feel like they are breaking out of their own limits. The containment zone does not accept anything that's different, that does not comply, that is weird, that feels, and all of this could also be a commentary of kpop industry and the toll it takes just in general by being an artist in it, or in any industry that breaks you down for entertainment purposes in general. (Since they have also referenced or talked about it in side effects most notably, and han's rap in backdoor; where we see in recent interview bang chan said the guys in white hoodie sort of referenced district 9 in a way where their district is ever expanding from them all in white hoodies trying to fit in, to now people liking what they put out, accepting their invitation in god's menu.) I'm just rambling now, but I guess I'm just trying to say that skz have a consistent theme of feelings they keep referencing, the theme of being different, being themselves and all the sufferings and celebrations that come with it. A storyline might be there (which I never understand lmao how it connects) but what stands more is how consistent they are, that they just want us to know that whatever they put out is authentic to themselves. I'm so sorry for rambling so much, the way you start discussing all so interestingly makes me very excited as well to just think about it too. Hiii again ! I hope you're good ! Before starting starting I wanted to suggest something since you're starting from the beginning. Since almost all of their songs (beside School life, glow, 4419, not, who, you and Hero's soup) has a second version, an ot8 version. I wanted to recommend that you watch the video that went out at that time and then when you look at the lyrics maybe to watch a color coded of the ot8 version, so you can hear both. I personnaly prefer almost all the time the ot8 version but it's still interesting to see the differences, some lyrics change in other members part (Felix in Broken compass for example, it's the first example that went through my head). For Grrr ! I will start by saying there's a way easier name for this song ! This song can also be called Beware, and I always refer to this song by Beware because how do you even pronounce grrr ??? 😂 I love it because I start to know your reaction a little bit better and when I saw that you reacted to Beware, I thought that it'll be funny to see your reactions to Changbin's "growl". And I was right that was so funny 😂. I already told you about the sirens but it was really funny to see you realizing that there's sirens again. The worst is that the first time I told you about the sirens my examples were Beware and District 9 (and probably Maze of memories too) because it's the only songs I can think of. 😂😂 Their choreography ! I have to say that I live their recent choreographies but their older choreographies are so much more impressive ! And even the quantity of choreography ! There's a choreography for all 7 songs of thr Mixtape album, I'm pretty sure that there's a choreo for all 8 songs of the I am not album and many in their other albums ! For Spread my wings, also called Young wings (many of their songs have two names or three for grr) ! I'l start with the fun but not fun fact. Minho is afraid of height so you can understand he was probably sos cared when they filmed this. From what I saw in the behind the scenes it was more of a roof than a helicopter pad, but they performed Thunderous on a helicopter pad and Minho was so scared you could see it. He had his head down the whole song and I'm still so mad about this. Now for the meaning of the song ! They have another song with almost the exact same meaning and it's actually Han's first song (when I say Han's song it's because he wrote it alone) called 19. So for the meaning I'll explain my understanding of 19 which is the same thing as Spread my wings. For me the song is like when you're young you want to become an adult but the closer you get from becoming an adult the more scared you are and you want the time to stop or at least slow down. I love how all stays agree on one thing. When Innie smile he is a baby ! I love how you talked about Han part at this end since it's my favorite part ! I love his low voice and then his high notes in the back ground ! But Stray kids were mocking him and like covering their ears when they recorded this (I'll explain that later in this comment). And to end about Spread my wings, the wings. In multiple of their choreographies (I can think of two others beside Spread my wings)the members play the role of Chan's wings and I don't know there's something special about this, i love it. District 9 !!! It is part of their story line and to be introduced to their story line, I think that you should listen to Not because Chan's part explain why they are leaving. And the intro of this album is really important to understand Innie role in the story line, which is the most important one. But to explain in the easiest possible what I understood ! They are stucked in a society, we call it System, where everyone has to be the same but they have enough of that. So they leave System (here in District 9) and create their own society called District 9. At first it was just for them, then they opened it to stays and now to everyone. But the system is still after them (the man in Back door for example) that's why they switched universe multiples times thanks to the Hellevator and other processus after they burned the Hellevator. And from what I understood since Oddinary they don't care anymore and are fighting against the system instead of running away. What's funny is that you said something along the line "they love to be upside down" and one of the universe is called the Upside down, it's what you see at the end of Hellevator and at the start of Maniac (even if I think that in Maniac they are in the upside down and what we see is the original world). But nothing of the thing I said are confirmed, it's only from what I understood from some smart stays theories. It was the first time you heard Minho rap yay !! He actually raps quite often, I'm pretty sure that he raps in more than 20 songs. But his rap is so underrated ! Stays never mention him as a rapper even tho in skz discography he has more rap part than Chan, which stays always mention him as a rapper (and I say in skz discography because if you include 3racha of course Chan has more). Fun fact, that is actually fun here ! During the survival show, JYP told them that Hellevator was too high because the high note (and I think the chorus too) are in female key. So he told them to lower the song. But they never did and even worse District 9 is higher than Hellevator. You asked about who was driving and I'm just gonna say that at that time Chan was the only with a driver listen. So you should maybe be worried that he was with the other members 😂😂. About them mocking Hannie it's right now ! I talk about it now because they are two parts in District 9 where they are mocking him : the start of his rap in the second verse and the end before the last chorus. They are mocking him because you know he is center and he is like breathing hardly. Out of this mocking a meme of Han's reaction was created and you'll discover when you'll watch SKZ TALKER of the I am who era !! And lastly I want to say that District 9 comes, yes, from the fact that they were 9 but also from a movie : District 9. I never watched it but a stay explained that you can see when you watch it how skz were inspired by it.

in District 9, right near the beginning, the bus makes an entrance (crashed thru the fence) and you see Bang Chan walking around it, but he's wearing the outside clothes. I know in a lot of music videos there are two sets of SKZ and I wonder if this was the start of that - another Bang Chan brought them the bus, maybe poked a hole for the other to find the outside world, so he's leading them out? BTW the full name for Grrr is Grrr, Law of Total Madness. It IS a very long name though and when they re-released it on a later album (after the group became 8 members) they changed the name to Beware. SKZ being and/or having wings will appear -- sometimes subtly, sometimes overtly -- in multiple pieces of SKZ content from here on forward. Everything from MVs to live stages to SKZ Code moments to poses in promo shoots and magazines has had this reference. It will basically always be either Chan with SKZ as his metaphorical wings, or Hyunjin with actual wings. You've been told one of Grrr's alternate titles: "Beware." The third continues the theme: "Law of Total Madness." So keep all three of those titles in mind when I tell you this next bit: Grrr/Beware/Law of Total Madness is basically SKZ's puberty song. No, I'm not kidding. Yes, they essentially said this themselves, and if you have that knowledge in mind when you read the lyrics, everything makes a _lot_ of sense. The MIXTAPE album and the arc of all three albums in the I AM trilogy relate to the youth-to-adult stage of life they were in at the time. That's the theme of the early SKZ, since their whole "concept" (what there is of one, anyway) is basically "Let's have this group form themselves and then self-develop organically and take us along to watch their ups and downs as they grow." Every album trilogy has an arc within itself, but also fits into the larger overall arc of growth that started with the literal kids who made MIXTAPE about their adolescent lives at that time.

I'm not sure if you guys already knew this, but District 9 exists as a district in the SKZ universe as a safe haven for all the people who need it, where negativity is kept out and you can be yourself and as different as you want. Their second tour is called 'District 9: Unlock' World Tour, where Bang Chan "unlocked" District 9 to personally invite everyone into their "special district"/concert. To me, it's really cool that such a special place in the fandom also happens to refer to their debut song. SKZ is just such a cohesive group in everything they do.
We definitely saw a piece of this with the MV, but had no idea that the meaning extended so far. That is so comforting for them to have created a safe haven like that. I absolutely love it 😭🥺

18:25 They were indeed making the wings formation. And it's like Chan is the center and his members are his wings because only with them he became able to fly (debut). They're kinda folded up because, as Stray Kids themselves said several times, Chan's the core that connects/unites everyone together and at the same time they are surrounding Chan to protect him. They still sometimes do different variations of this formation in their performances (like they do in Scars, a title track of their 2021 Japanese release)!
20:15 Well, it's obvious that becoming an adult is both positive and negative. Starting a career of an idol in adolescence is already hard, and being a member of a self-produced and self-made group is like getting even more responsibilities on your shoulders (as Han once said, Chan's shoulders are broad because he has a lot of weight to put on them). There are more Stray Kids songs about becoming an adult and I'd really like to recommend "19" (written by Han about turning 20 years old which is considered becoming an adult in Korea).

when the first two songs mention adult/growing up a lot it reminds me of skz grow up and 19 they clearly have songs that comfort you in a way it shows that they understand you I personally love the messages they often put in their songs, my personal favorite is Voices it has a clear message and I'm glad they cover topics that are hard to talk about in their songs. I'm a multistan but feel more close to stray kids than a lot of groups and its amazing how much they have grew in terms of success and mentally
District 9 remindes me a litle bit of "the Giver" a book/movie about a perfect society where everithing is greyscale and emotions are not wanted.
Everybody gets a injektion that surpresses emotions. The main character realises that and avoids the injetion. After that he starts to see the wold in color and starts questioning the society.

Ahh the memories of me discovering them came flooding in during 2020, as a 2nd Gen Stan, out of ALL the grps that come and go or exploded in popularity, SKZ was the one who ultimately caught my attention and easily became my Ult which is super rare to me because despite being a fan for a long time, it's all only on a casual level, before I discovered them I thought I will never be a true fanatic of something and was ready to let go until skz...
Idk there's something so unique and definitely stands out from the rest in a sea of oversaturated grps of the genre, and everything else is cherry on top, while also knowing their flaws and everything but despite it all, well I'm just glad and happy they've given me my life a full of color and wonder, enjoy the ride as well too!!... 😭
I'm going to try really hard not to be too excited but, I genuinely love seeing people enjoy Stray Kids and actually take the time to dive into their discography. Very much looking forward to your reactions to them lol. Their first two bodies of work (Mixtape and I am: Not) were really focused around conversations of growing up and conformity (which they obviously still touch on in later music but, they were pretty centre in those two bodies of work). As someone who's the same age as the 2000 line, I think a big reason why I gravitated so hard to them was their relatability tbh. I just felt and understood so much of what they were discussing and, it deeply resonated with 17 year old me apparently because I'm still here almost 5 years later lol. Also, seeing these music videos again just makes me feel so nostalgic, especially since this was before they had the 'Stray Kids All Around the World' and 'You Make Stray Kids Stay' at the end of every video. Let me stop because this comment is already embarrassingly long but, I'm so excited to see you get into their earlier stuff! Also, I cannot even begin to explain to you the hype when District 9 finally came out 💀

In the back door mv, you see a lot of people in the background dressed in white (like how they were dressed in D9)… that’s representing the many more people they recruited to their district, district 9 🥹 it’s the most beautiful thing ever. It's nice to go from the beginning to see their growth. One thing that I find really interesting is how they have grown as producers. Their early stuff is definitely a lot more unrefined and I don't want to say simple, but their more recent stuff I think definitely has more layers. Also I think over the years they have found out how to best utilize the members different voices. Like Felix and Lee Know especially get parts that suit them more these days.
Yes! This is one of the main reasons we like to start from the beginning and work our way back up to more recent music. It's so much fun to see a groups growth and how they mature as artists ❤️.

Grr, spread my wings (and hellevator) along with I think four more songs (yayaya, glow, school life and 4419) make up for their mixtape album. The whole of that album was produced as various, projects? Or assignments (I'm forgetting the word I should use here) on their survival show and if I'm not wrong the choreography is also done by themselves too, essentially to show if they would survive as a self producing group or not. And I don't think we would lie if we say they killed it. Lee know did confirmedly choreograph hellevator, I won't think it's a stretch to think he did others too (if anybody could correct me if I'm wrong fellow stays) and that just shows how much of a dance master he is. Fyi: Grrrr (and almost all of the songs that were recorded with Woojin -the member that left-) were re-recorded and released as OT8 versions on their SKZ 2020 and SKZ 2021 albums. Grrr got a new name and I believe it's a better translation of the Korean title: Beware. So you can also call the song Beware, hahaha. So if you're loving a song and you prefer the OT8 version, just look it up on one of the two albums. I believe only Beware and the Mixtapes from an album in the future got new names (I forgot which one), all the others are the same.

I loved it and I loved how you delved and understood not only the song messages but the continuity, it's one thing I love about skz, they tell stories and send messages using their songs!!! And you can "connect the songs" (and some MVs) to get a storyline though Stays do have different interpretations and stuff which is fine, skz themselves said that stays are free to interpret it their own way, but due to this there are different versions of skz storylines.

@@NewChapterReactions The storyline is easy but the whole skz lore/world and the details will surely confuse you and I'll not be surprised cause there's different versions of skz and sometimes they get mixed up and stuff like I.N during Cle:Laventer, many stays believe he switched with his "other version/double" this era. Adding the fact that some of them have a power of sorts and I'll use I.N again for example...this baby is powerful cause he's like, the only one who sees what's really going on and the only one not easily affected by events, and there's Felix always has keys or compass, and etc that I'll let you discover and be confused about (of course help make sense if I can). They have had a map to if I'm not mistaken, it's from mixtape pre-debut era to Cle:Laventer (it's called Map for the Broken Compass and you can Google it) and like a short video on their channel to guide you of the basic storyline (I think they called it prequel: highlight reel)
Of course you could possibly have your own version, one that would make sense and relate/resonate with you and that's fine too.

The lyrics of district 9 talking about themselves and breaking out of moulds the audience has put them into also makes me feel like they are breaking out of their own limits. The containment zone does not accept anything that's different, that does not comply, that is weird, that feels, and all of this could also be a commentary of kpop industry and the toll it takes just in general by being an artist in it, or in any industry that breaks you down for entertainment purposes in general. (Since they have also referenced or talked about it in side effects most notably, and han's rap in backdoor; where we see in recent interview bang chan said the guys in white hoodie sort of referenced district 9 in a way where their district is ever expanding from them all in white hoodies trying to fit in, to now people liking what they put out, accepting their invitation in god's menu.) I'm just rambling now, but I guess I'm just trying to say that skz have a consistent theme of feelings they keep referencing, the theme of being different, being themselves and all the sufferings and celebrations that come with it. A storyline might be there (which I never understand lmao how it connects) but what stands more is how consistent they are, that they just want us to know that whatever they put out is authentic to themselves. I'm so sorry for rambling so much, the way you start discussing all so interestingly makes me very excited as well to just think about it too. Don't worry much about the storyline tho, nobody in this fandom is actually clear on what keeps on happening lol. You have so much to watch I'm so excited ack don't mind me

Before starting starting I wanted to suggest something since you're starting from the beginning. Since almost all of their songs (beside School life, glow, 4419, not, who, you and Hero's soup) has a second version, an ot8 version. I wanted to recommend that you watch the video that went out at that time and then when you look at the lyrics maybe to watch a color coded of the ot8 version, so you can hear both. I personnaly prefer almost all the time the ot8 version but it's still interesting to see the differences, some lyrics change in other members part (Felix in Broken compass for example, it's the first example that went through my head).

Their choreography ! I have to say that I live their recent choreographies but their older choreographies are so much more impressive ! And even the quantity of choreography ! There's a choreography for all 7 songs of thr Mixtape album, I'm pretty sure that there's a choreo for all 8 songs of the I am not album and many in their other albums !

I'l start with the fun but not fun fact. Minho is afraid of height so you can understand he was probably sos cared when they filmed this. From what I saw in the behind the scenes it was more of a roof than a helicopter pad, but they performed Thunderous on a helicopter pad and Minho was so scared you could see it. He had his head down the whole song and I'm still so mad about this.
Now for the meaning of the song ! They have another song with almost the exact same meaning and it's actually Han's first song (when I say Han's song it's because he wrote it alone) called 19. So for the meaning I'll explain my understanding of 19 which is the same thing as Spread my wings. For me the song is like when you're young you want to become an adult but the closer you get from becoming an adult the more scared you are and you want the time to stop or at least slow down.
I love how all stays agree on one thing. When Innie smile he is a baby !
I love how you talked about Han part at this end since it's my favorite part ! I love his low voice and then his high notes in the back ground ! But Stray kids were mocking him and like covering their ears when they recorded this (I'll explain that later in this comment).
And to end about Spread my wings, the wings. In multiple of their choreographies (I can think of two others beside Spread my wings)the members play the role of Chan's wings and I don't know there's something special about this, i love it.
District 9 !!!
It is part of their story line and to be introduced to their story line, I think that you should listen to Not because Chan's part explain why they are leaving. And the intro of this album is really important to understand Innie role in the story line, which is the most important one. But to explain in the easiest possible what I understood !
They are stucked in a society, we call it System, where everyone has to be the same but they have enough of that. So they leave System (here in District 9) and create their own society called District 9. At first it was just for them, then they opened it to stays and now to everyone. But the system is still after them (the man in Back door for example) that's why they switched universe multiples times thanks to the Hellevator and other processus after they burned the Hellevator. And from what I understood since Oddinary they don't care anymore and are fighting against the system instead of running away. What's funny is that you said something along the line "they love to be upside down" and one of the universe is called the Upside down, it's what you see at the end of Hellevator and at the start of Maniac (even if I think that in Maniac they are in the upside down and what we see is the original world).
But nothing of the thing I said are confirmed, it's only from what I understood from some smart stays theories.
It was the first time you heard Minho rap yay !! He actually raps quite often, I'm pretty sure that he raps in more than 20 songs. But his rap is so underrated ! Stays never mention him as a rapper even tho in skz discography he has more rap part than Chan, which stays always mention him as a rapper (and I say in skz discography because if you include 3racha of course Chan has more).
Fun fact, that is actually fun here ! During the survival show, JYP told them that Hellevator was too high because the high note (and I think the chorus too) are in female key. So he told them to lower the song. But they never did and even worse District 9 is higher than Hellevator.
You asked about who was driving and I'm just gonna say that at that time Chan was the only with a driver listen. So you should maybe be worried that he was with the other members 😂😂.
About them mocking Hannie it's right now ! I talk about it now because they are two parts in District 9 where they are mocking him : the start of his rap in the second verse and the end before the last chorus. They are mocking him because you know he is center and he is like breathing hardly. Out of this mocking a meme of Han's reaction was created and you'll discover when you'll watch SKZ TALKER of the I am who era !!
And lastly I want to say that District 9 comes, yes, from the fact that they were 9 but also from a movie : District 9. I never watched it but a stay explained that you can see when you watch it how skz were inspired by it.

in District 9, right near the beginning, the bus makes an entrance (crashed thru the fence) and you see Bang Chan walking around it, but he's wearing the outside clothes. I know in a lot of music videos there are two sets of SKZ and I wonder if this was the start of that - another Bang Chan brought them the bus, maybe poked a hole for the other to find the outside world, so he's leading them out?
BTW the full name for Grrr is Grrr, Law of Total Madness. It IS a very long name though and when they re-released it on a later album (after the group became 8 members) they changed the name to Beware. Easier to say for lots of people, though I know you said the reason you had giggles when saying it was because you don't think you sound as cool as them. You sounded fine!

SKZ being and/or having wings will appear -- sometimes subtly, sometimes overtly -- in multiple pieces of SKZ content from here on forward. Everything from MVs to live stages to SKZ Code moments to poses in promo shoots and magazines has had this reference. It will basically always be either Chan with SKZ as his metaphorical wings, or Hyunjin with actual wings.
You've been told one of Grrr's alternate titles: "Beware." The third continues the theme: "Law of Total Madness." So keep all three of those titles in mind when I tell you this next bit: Grrr/Beware/Law of Total Madness is basically SKZ's puberty song. No, I'm not kidding. Yes, they essentially said this themselves, and if you have that knowledge in mind when you read the lyrics, everything makes a _lot_ of sense.
The MIXTAPE album and the arc of all three albums in the I AM trilogy relate to the youth-to-adult stage of life they were in at the time. That's the theme of the early SKZ, since their whole "concept" (what there is of one, anyway) is basically "Let's have this group form themselves and then self-develop organically and take us along to watch their ups and downs as they grow." Every album trilogy has an arc within itself, but also fits into the larger overall arc of growth that started with the literal kids who made MIXTAPE about their adolescent lives at that time.

Yes, this does make a lot of sense. We did catch on to the fact the the song was about them growing up and the fears and emotions that come along with that. So yeah, makes a lot of sense if they confirmed that it was a song about puberty!

(Reminder: up until MAXIDENT, virtually no SKZ song is actually a specifically romantic-love song, so when you come across stuff like MIA or I Am YOU, don't fall into the trap of thinking they're singing a sweet little ditty to some crush. Depending on the song, they're singing to each other, to themselves, to the combined STAY/SKZ family. I'm just mentioning that bit in advance because it kills me every time I see a new reactor come across, say, MIA and go "Oh, they're singing to a crush" and entirely miss the true depth of the lyrics and what they're actually singing to their younger selves.)
