Nice job kid that was spot on I'm 60 and have been playing that song in bars for 30 years it's great to see the younger generation keeping that music alive. Rock on
You have no idea what seeing you play this well means to me. It makes me so happy. All of these incredibly talented young women playing rock music, guitarists, bassists, drummers. This was just not a thing when I was a teenager. It's so ridiculously cool. I love it. keep playing!!!
Many consider this the best solo ever. No sweep picking, 200 beats per minute, tapping etc, just emotional playing with vibrato and great tone. Awesome as usual. You are the bomb! สุดยอดเหมือนเช่นเคย คุณสุดยอดมาก!
It's a very good and touching feeling to see that young people also love Pink Floyd. By the way, you are a very talented young lady, I've listened to it several times, thank you! 🎸
Wow! As an 80 year old semi retired university professor who used to be an old rock 'n' roll drummer in the 60s, I haven't heard this kind of quality in a very long time. You go girl and don't stop. Dr. Cliff Kelly Digital Circuit Rider
One of the classic guitar solos to perform. A great performance, touch and reproduction with the right tone. The right guitar choice and perfect levels of distortion and delay settings. Great stuff!
Jesus! Little girl. You absolutely KILLED IT! I taught guitar for years and I can't describe what I wouldn't have given to have a student like you. Please keep up the good work. BTW, I watched this video several times through. You must be using really very light gauge strings because your bends seem to be coming very easily. Many guitarists don't stop to think about this but, playing extremely light gauge strings actually takes a better guitar player. The beginner to intermediate will put enough pressure on his shapes to unintentionally bend the strings to where they are not in tune with what needs to be played. But, you have mastered this particular skill. If I were your teacher, you would make me so proud.
even Gilmour himself makes a small mistake when he plays that lick at the beginning in last solo, but you somehow managed to play it correctly, pretty cool playing.
You think gilmour made a mistake on a studio recording and stuck with it? 😂every single note and the way it sounds in that solo was 100% intentional bro
I have never been very good at the guitar I got a little bit dedicated 15 to 10 years ago where I was starting to play solos like Time and some from Pink Floyd Animals but I just never could never feel confident enough to even try to start learning Comfortably Numb. It just really touches my heart listening to Comfortably Numb thank you and well done!
I know it sounds stupid, but I was a little bit in tears listening to you hitting Gilmore solo note for note and all of those pull-offs. All of those hammerons. It's such amazingly emotional solo. I can boldly say I think that you would be a nice compliment to Roger Waters touring group.
I've seen a lot of people attempt this solo and most play it well but one thing that they often miss is the timing. Your timing is impeccable, well done
Wonderful - I'm 81 - what is it about Pink Floyd that gets to us? If you haven't recorded it yet on TH-cam can you play " Us and Them ", one of my all time favourites.
Incredible playing girl! It’s the perfect cover of this solo, one of the best for sure…great tone, fantastic technic, you’re so easy…I’m in love with your sound
OMG! That was fantastic! Your left hand technique is stellar. The bends and vibrato are spot on and those multi-string sweeps and hammer ons are perfect and fun. Great job! I just subscribed and hope to see more of your playing.
wow.. wonderful.. very skilled.. i'm glad you closed your video with a beautiful smile... i wish you always success... nice to see you.. from Indonesia
I've been playing that solo (the first half of it anyway) for 30 years. You play it clean and with soul. Keep it up. Put together a great band and eventually make great NEW music for us.
From the STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN snippet --- a song I know well, having learned to play it myself in the Bronze Age, during high school --- to this Pink Floyd snippet, it's clear the young woman is extremely talented as a young musician.
Inspiring!!!! Consider learning the Enneagram. The Perfectionists will always be perfectionists and once you learn the enneagram you can just let people have their space and get triggered much much less (not to necessarily say that you got triggered!). I wish I had learned the enneagram when I was your age. It is a battle shield for sensitive types to understand the world and become navigationally competent. Your talents will likely take you places that will test your emotional intelligence and a broad diversified set of tools will empower your journey.
Why are the comments always so unhinged 😭 I want you to know I came for the music and stayed for the music because that’s awesome like damn your hands are on fire good job

Stunning. It's the feel that makes the solo touch so many people and you absolutely nailed it.

Absolutely NAILED it! My gosh, that was AMAZING!!
That was absolutely sublime. As a HUGE Floyd fan, having seen them live multiple times, this made my toes tingle. Love, love, LOVE!
beautiful playing, phrasing, little nuances like subtle harmonics, absolutely loved it!
Wow! You did really great, I've been listening to this song going on 25 years now and it never gets old!
Comfortably Numb solo # 2 has literally always been my favorite solo of all time, and you did it justice. I tip my hat to you.
Timing, string bends spot on.. outstanding Lizzie played with feel and love for this classic!
I love it when someone from current generation understands and experiments with the real music. Keep going Liz....❤

I agree
Well done! You covered that tune excellently - way to go. We want to hear more, Thank you
People usually don't hit that first note correctly. But you did. And then you did it again at 0:56. Incredible. Keep up the amazing work.
One of the classic guitar solos to perform. A great performance, touch and reproduction with the right tone. The right guitar choice and perfect levels of distortion and delay settings. Great stuff!
Very well done, young lady!
You should be proud of yourself!
Excellent job young lady. We'll played. 👍

Is it a mistake if Gilmore plays it? lol
Your ear made the mistake. 😮
Gilmour makes no mistakes

Thank You Lizzie for the solo...it is so refreshing to see young people appreciate true rock and roll. That was absolutely AMAZING....Keep on playing!

yesss I've been waiting for you to post!! this is so good
You have the right kind of grit in your playing to pull this off really well. Nice one you smashed it.
I've seen a lot of people attempt this solo and most play it well but one thing that they often miss is the timing. Your timing is impeccable, well done
That was absolutely amazing! After playing for 20 years I cannot do that solo anywhere near the level of justice you did. Kudos to you!
Wonderful - I'm 81 - what is it about Pink Floyd that gets to us? If you haven't recorded it yet on TH-cam can you play " Us and Them ", one of my all time favourites.
More than the difficulty of the solo, what surprises me the most is the "feeling" with which he plays the solo.
Magnífico, Lizzie!!!
I love when the youngins’ dig our music. Great job young lady.
I love how comfortable you looked while performing. You're excellent. Good Luck.

Lizzie, nicely done! You've got a lot of talent, keep jamming!
Absolutely nailed it. Well done. Handling Gilmour's bends is not easy. You're a vastly better player than I am!
Great job! That was amazing
I've been playing that solo (the first half of it anyway) for 30 years. You play it clean and with soul. Keep it up. Put together a great band and eventually make great NEW music for us.

Not gonna lie, this was pretty damn good! You even got the sound right.. Pretty impressive!
Great job, a good song is always a good song, nice to see a young musician playing and enjoying music I grew up on
Wow! Perfect! You should be very proud.

Awesome, you just inspired a 66-year-old man to learn that song especially that solo. Thanks for that!
Why are the comments always so unhinged 😭 I want you to know I came for the music and stayed for the music because that’s awesome like damn your hands are on fire good job
Sounds really good I love that she can do that little harmonic squeal
If I had a dollar for every hour I spend trying that solo, I could just hire Gilmore to play it for me.
