You know, small valuables like jewelry, collectables, rare materials like gold and gold coins. Nobody ever uses safety deposit boxes for that. It's weird that banks still have them when only a few are ever used, and they are used _only_ for lottery tickets.

Best to invest and live off the earnings. Most people who get rich quickly seem to lose it quickly. However, it seems like winning this much money would be both a blessing and a curse. I can imagine how many people, especially friends and family would be jealous and start to hate the winner, at no fault of the winner.

What to do if you won.
1. Don't tell anyone!
2. Wait until the last minute of ticket validity deadline so the hype dies down. You don't want every media company knocking on your door to expose you as the winner.
3. Be as anonymous as possible if you are the winner.
4. Once you get the check. Hookers and cocaine.

Really easy. Take 20% and have fun. Take 80% and split it between index funds, and municipal bonds, and corporate bonds. You will be a multimillionaire for life
My advice is don't change your lifestyle too much. Buy what you have been needed and want but don't blow millions. Have a Million of fun money and the rest can go into bonds, stocks and savings and then you are set to spend finically free for the rest of your life.
