Biden appeals for "unity" after attempted Trump assassination

President Joe Biden on Sunday appealed for the country to "unite as one nation" after Saturday's attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump and said he was ordering an independent security review of the lead-up to the attack.
Biden delivered brief remarks from the White House after receiving a briefing on the investigation in the Situation Room. He said he has directed the probe to be "thorough and swift," and asked the country not to "make assumptions" about the perpetrator's motives or affiliations. Biden said he has also directed the U.S. Secret Service to review all security measures for the Republican National Convention which begins Monday in Milwaukee.
Biden plans to deliver extended remarks to the nation Sunday evening in a prime-time address from the Oval Office.

Cathy Griffin holding his fake severed head, Maxine Waters encouraging the mindless drones to "get in their face", Robert DeNiro and Bette Midler wishing to do bodily harm to him, The current administration calling him a threat to democracy, Hitler, a Zionist, a racist, a xenophobe, a dictator, etc... Supporters of the former President have been labeled MAGA extremists, Bible clutchers, deplorables, or radical white supremacists. Steve Scalise was shot, BLM and Antifa riots destroyed entire neighborhoods, Hamas protestors have threatened the lives of students. All under one administration. The ideology is furthered by their mindless drones in the MSM. They push the lies, they push the speaking points, and are not held accountable. CNN 'he fell" WaPo and USA Today "he became startled from loud noise", even the WH, "can't comment because not sure if it was an assassination attempt" was the original comment released. They all have blood on their hands. Any violence at a Trump rally before yesterday, ever? Those are truly peaceful gatherings. Why is it that every active shooter in the last decade or more has been a DEMONcrat with a history of mental illness? These people thrive on anarchy and violence. How anyone could support such a party with all that they stand for and allow is beyond me. And that doesn't even include foreign policy, the economy, the open border, the climate change BS, the fuel prices, the high crime and lack of prosecution, the woke military, and the alphabet mafia.
