Great tutorial and guidance. I've looked into your channel but can't find any other Medium tutorials. You are good at this consider doing more please! :)
This is amazing. It would be awesome to create his head on another layer (for rotation), his bottom jaw on yet another layer, and somehow get this animated by head and voice activation (I know the Oculus avatars seem to move their mouth if your voice is loud enough). With all the things they do in movies and games with motion, it won't be too long before people can sculpt their own avatar and just wear it. Like imagine transferring from Medium to Mindshow and using your own characters! You'd load a Mindshow template in Medium with special layers (with geometry for head, mouth, hands, shoulder, elbow locations), and build characters on other layers and match it up and anything could be animated.
nice use of the pre-made stamps... can't wait to try medium but have been holding off touch stuff with a broken shoulder. Big shout to the oculus community! :)
I know this video is old as shit, but do you have any tips for someone trying to make good looking eyes? What i've been trying to do is hollow out eyesockets in my sculpts, then place eyeballs inside, and then sculpt lids over the eyeballs. This makes all my sculpts look like zombies or something. It's unsettling and was wondering if you had any tips
Super cool man. I work for VRChat.com a social VR platform where you can bring guys like this in using Medium and Unity using Maya or Blender and then be that avatar in VR! I'm hoping to build a Golem like guy for fun. Thanks for the video.
I'm trying to upload a project from oculus medium into sketchfab. But when I try to upload to sketchfab there is no color or textures. Can anyone help?

Great vid, even enjoyed the music..
Thanks! I think the volume on the music was a little high but I did rush the edit before heading away on family Xmas adventures! Lesson learned :)
Great tutorial, I got a question... is it possible to produce and share tutorials inside medium? Like the introductory tutorials made by Oculus?

Thanks, great video!
The mouse cursor and music was a bit annoying tho ;)
I AM IRONCLAW! Haha! Sorry about the cursor, it keeps catching me out! Silly OBS! It sounded so quiet without any bgm..! But duly noted :)
It's OK to have BGM, and I recommend to have it. I just didn't like the choice of music :)
I AM IRONCLAW! Fair enough. It's from a game called Planet Coaster, I find it awesome to work to, for some reason!
Mate. great video. I challenge you to make a sexy robo lady next time :) defo more of these videos anyway
Rob Jenkins song choice worked for me, for what it's worth.
