Hallo Larry, congratulations on a super upload ... I love your rendition VERY much my dear friend ! 👍👍 BIG like 9 I wish you a happy new week ... Fons.
Love it Larry! I think my favourites are your takes on these classic country(bluegrass in this case) songs. I like the variety you bring to an otherwise simple song.
I got a couple more variations, but this video was getting kinda long that day. I will do another one before too long. Its a good old tune to play. Bill Monroe was the man!
Thanks. It's one of many Lincoln. I don't think I hit the mark this time. I've played that song so much over the years, in so many different ways. It's one of those songs you can get a lot of different moods and feel out of. I wonder if Mr. Monroe knew just how good some of his songs really were. This was/is certainly one. Like I said, I think EVERYBODY that takes up a guitar ought to learn to play this song...kinda like the bedrock. But interestingly I don't see many fingerpickers playing it.
Thanks Rick. It's another one of them songs that's been done to death by everybody. Bill Monroe was the man! And Elvis had a good version out in '55. But not too many fingerpickers play it for some reason. Or, at least I haven't heard many.

Haha! I haven't heard that one before! 😁😄 Pore ol Randy. He's had a rough time.
Great pickin on that old tune Larry. I like the sound of that D’angelico with the TK Smith pick-up, what amp are you playing through?.

Thanks Bill. I'm glad you like it. I was playing thru a Henriksen Bud amp.
