Avoid the micros on your first go unless you only have a small space with no wind. The UMX Conscendo they featured a few days ago would be a great beginner plane that you won't outgrow after you learn the basics. Have fun out there!

I've been flying my FMS A-10 for several months now and it's awesome. I love this plane.
Well....this was a nice companion to my morning coffee (I've had this "waiting" on a browser tab for a couple days). LOVE big planes....I still hold to "Platt's Law"...Big planes fly, little planes flit. So glad things are looking up for your family after this wild week. I do thank God for you and your family. so you have to calibrate the ECU right away and when taking of, throttle up easy because it will go all over the place when go all in from the start.

also i fly it with all the function using a 6 chanel, placing the ESC on the bind chanel.

Love the color pattern, tended to blend in with the sky on the one side of runway. Great size for scale flying, flew like it was floating. did you calibrate your throttle via the ESC's? Or it's possible that the "throttle" cut being on when you plug in the batter could be causing the issue.
trying plugging in the battery making sure your throttle cut is not enabled / turned on. If that doesn't work you will most certainly need to calibrate the ESC's
Calibrate your esc with the Trottletrim in center.

I noticed that you were using a DSM2 controller. When I have someone that runs DSM2 in a drone I have to set the end point to around 150% to get everything to have full stick. That might not just be to much Expo on the Ali channel might not have full stick on any of the AETR Channels.
When you mention Expo, are you referring to the amount of total travel of motion? Or the exponential curve within that travel? BTW, nice flying. Love this A-10. If only our field was conducive to such landing gear.

FMS seems to like doing things in a big way-\have you tried their Toyota FJ 40-it works out to about 1/7 th scale-and hoping your daughter quickly is 100%.

Not saying it’s this but I’ve had a very similar issue with dual ESCs before and it was my throttle cut value. Make sure it’s at -100 not -130 or something else. My boot up value of -130 was confusing the ESCs. Try changing your throttle cut to -100 and see if that fixes it. If not leave it at -100 and then boot up on full throttle to calibrate. Remember to drop to zero throttle as soon as you hear beeps. That should do it.

It does not, but I only landed at half flaps. I’ve flown things that feel like they need reverse thrust more than this. But yeah, super gentle flyer! 👍💯😎⚓️
Where did you mount the RID in order to stay compliant with the new FAA rules? Is this airport a FRIA?
First of all, RID has been pushed back and is not currently required. Secondly, we’re working on the FRIA exemption as we speak. But thanks for your concerns! Trust me, not a fan of the losers online flying recklessly causing all of us to jump through these hoops. Please, get after these channels who promote flying like idiots! ⚓️
It’s not pushed back forever, and as a channel that promotes the AMA regularly, it would be good to show how RC pilots will be able to comply with this new rule ( even if you don’t agree with it) when flying at a non FRIA site.
I’m not going to spread fear until it’s a sure thing. IF / When it is instated, we will mention it then if we feel the need. My gosh, there’s so many other old farts online saying the sky is falling. Learn to love today and try not to fear tomorrow. Love you brother ❤️ Happy Flying! 💯⚓️

I have had to occasionally. Always on new plane check that your throttle starts around 4 or 5. If not calibrate esc otherwise you might be losing some throttle

No, but that’s honestly a good thing! Trust me, this would not be a good RTF. Do you need some pointers on buying your first or second airplane? 👍💯⚓️

I definitely have not! I’m so hesitant to ask, but is this something that should be regularly done on PNP models? Obviously, I don’t ever do that… lol 😅🙏⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors nah, you only need to do it once, at initial assembly. Bring trim to center with Transmitter on, throttle up on transmitter before plugging in your flight pack. Plug in pack while throttle on transmitter is all the way up, wait for a few beeps, throttle down, hear another beep or two. Now they are calibrated.

I'm wondering why they left the actual control surfaces off the Maverick missiles. The long, triangular fins have no moving parts, and the real missile has four rectangular shaped fins behind those for the flight control. Yeah, I know. I'm being nit-picky. I'm just way, WAY, too familiar with how the Maverick missile looks.
if I had to guess, it's probably just really fragile

We just add motor(engine) to anything.
Bensinmotor = petrol engine.
Dieselmotor = diesel engine.
Elmotor = electric engine (should be motor in English I know).
