This warms my heart. I was stationed at RAF Alconbury England and they flew the A-10 during Desert Storm/Shield, what a great plane. Took a lot of damage but came back.

I'm Ex-AirForce, i witnessed demos for Generals and Diplomats, every Sunday. I was stationed at Langley, AFB. I would like to say, and i realize the rc is a flying shell, but the illusion and attention to external detail, especially the peripherals. Outstanding. We're in a Technical Evolution. Imagine the military's top secret, tech. business enterprise, and hobbyists projects? Mind boggling, the potential in all areas of life, at all scales of life, wow 👌.

I live in Tucson Arizona and go to DMAFB and regularly see A-10s in flight. Your aircraft and flying skills are spot on. Any A-10 pilot would be impressed with your aircraft and flying ability.
This A-10 model is so much more refined than the others I have seen. From the performance and flight to the paint job, it's about as perfect as one could get.

I'm an American Army veteran. An M1A1 tanker. When we had these guys come in we had to make sure we were "buttoned up" because we'd get hit with the empty shell casings when they ejected out of the gun. I still have a couple from Desert Storm. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is my all-time favorite jet. If I'd have been an Air Force pilot I'd want to be a "Warthog" pilot. I wish we'd quit screwing around and roll into Ukraine. Imagine what 1 A-10 would have done to the stalled Russian convoys. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇸💪🇺🇦✊

@@RCScaleAirplanes Thanks for your reply. I'm envious of the talent you have to both build and fly an RC A-10 of that size. I can't fathom the blood, sweat, tears, and money it took to build it. I got into powered paragliding and then into FPV drone racing. When the war broke out in Ukraine I donated my DJI Mavic Pro and DJI goggles along with extra batteries and other equipment to the brave men and women of the Ukrainian Air Reconnaissance Unit. They sent me video of them thanking me for it and also of it being used in action. I just ordered the new DGI FPV and once I get my passport I'm going to Ukraine to help them rid their wonderful country of Russian orcs. I was already dropping paintball grenades from my drones five years ago. I enlisted in '85 when I was 17 into the Army's delayed entry program when the USSR was the threat. Turned 18 and left for basic and AIT. Desert Storm was a beat down and I was a gunner in 4/70th Armored in the battle called "Madina Ridge". My battalion wiped out an entire Republican Guards division in a matter of a few hours. I would trade every T-72, BMP, and BTR-60 I destroyed (23) for the privilege to drop grenades on Russians. Let me get some of them and will die one truly happy dude. Wish me luck. I will try and post to TH-cam so I can raise the funds so they can get more drones. Side note, I was stationed in West Germany back in late 80s until we left for Desert Storm. In Erlangen. Man, I loved my time in Germany. The ladies and the beer were the absolute best. Everything about what we saw here was perfection.If the subject line didn't have rc in it anywhere, you would obviously swear it's the real thing.The pilot literally used every last inch of runway before lifting off.The sounds we heard were unbelievable too.RC pilots and drone pilots blow my mind because of their ability to stay correctly orientated without them having the same cockpit view as a pilot of the real deal.

A-10 thunderbolts/warthogs are used as close ground attack planes . But an RC F-35 maybe

Awesome A10, I was involved In the engineering process for the nose gun and the ammo round development. Love that plane. I enjoyed climbing all over it.

That is some serious $$ there. Could've bought a real plane for the cost of building that one. That is, without a doubt, the most finely detailed and built RC I've ever seen. You fly it to scale, and by that I mean it doesn't look like an RC is flying. Your roll, turn and climb rates mirror the real deal. That takes touch. Including BRRRRTTTT and FLARE was brilliant. That is a masterpiece and a Smithsonian worthy work of art. Bravo.

@Ken Able RC flying is line of sight. The operator must be able to see the plane to fly it. That keeps the RC well within the area it's being flown and usually they are not flown high enough to be a problem for real aircraft. Also, any busy airport is notified of an RC flying event so that they can notify aircraft where to steer clear. There are FAA regs that keep RC events from being too close to any busy airfields, too.

Building and flying model aircraft have indeed come a long way since my dad & me built and flew the line controlled "Shoe String" back in 1972. But back in my youth when my dad was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB, I did watch and envy two USAF guys fly a line controlled B-17. Fantastic job on the wart hog. My dad would've loved to see this but he's been in Heaven for many years. Thanks for the video.

@ it has to do with the size of the projectile. Anything over 20mm is classified as a cannon. The a-10 has a 30mm autocannon.

@@RCScaleAirplanes how much did that sucker cost? And holy moly the now closed Willow Grove airbase had a squadron of A-10s. We could watch them take off everyday. And that takes off exactly like A real one. I'd take 2 of those into battle that a billion dollar f35. Kudos to u. Simply amazing.

_Thanks for your interesting comment. Living in Germany, far away from the US airbase of Ramstein, it's difficult to see the A-10 on take-off or landing. But sometimes I can see it in the air when the USAF doing an air refueling._ 😉
Fantastic modeling. This is a 10+ on the scale of 1-10. Extremely realistic appearing. It would be nice to be able to have some firecrackers slightly buried and timed to go off, (by someone assisting) when you appear to be firing. Difficult I realize, but it would be awesome and really add to the flight. Thanks again, GREAT VIDEO.
Nothing like the BRRRT sound in combat when you are pinned down. My all time fave plane right here.....these planes saved my life on more than one occasion.....very well done friend! You have some serious RC skills.
