"Anything that doesn't serve me is fucking pointless... Anything that doesn't serve love, food, family, friendship, a well-balanced civilization or nature, I don't give a fuck about." Amen is right.
Couple of weeks and I will be seeing MM at the Barrowlands in Glasgow. Only discovered them during lockdown and I never thought I would see them live. Cannot fucking wait
I live in the US and never thought I would see The Cribs live, but I was able to when they toured with Modest Mouse. It felt so weird though because not a lot of people knew who the cribs were at the show.
Doesn't he always seem kinda wasted, idk if he even is. It's kinda his vibe in most interviews I've seen. Definitely been tripping on some older ones I believe he was pretty honest about it.
I'm honestly so happy Modest Mouse didn't ever become a one hit wonder, I have loved them since I was a kid and it is so cool to see them sell out HUGE venues and play massive shows in different countries across the world.
they were pretty popular even before their radio hits, in the late 90’s early 2000’s…every hipster college kid was listenin to them myself included although I don’t claim to have been a hipster im sure many people i went to school with would also vehemently deny that i was anywhere close to being “hip” 😂
Always great to get an interview with isaac, a rare thing indeed!

I like MM and he’s an incredible lyricist, but I can never tell if he’s wasted or that’s just him. I think it’s just him.
