I put my mouth piece in really hot water not even hotter than “boiling water” for 60 seconds before the 60 minutes mark my mouth piece shrunk in size and got thicker, it looks horrible; now I have to buy a new one!

60 to 75 seconds seems long. My Nike instructions say 25 to 30 seconds for adult and 15 to 20 for youth.

Yeah this isn't nearly enough to mold it, I mean the part where she puts the mouthpiece in the mouth
I believe you have to press into the mouthpiece a bit more and suck on it through your teeth for some 20 seconds

My reluctance is that once you've boiled it, then how long to wait for it to cool just enough to put in the mouth? I mean, you don't want to put a boiling mouthpiece in cause you would then burn your whole mouth.
