- There is HOPE for SIARGAO. The healing process is slow but we are seeing restaurants reopening like Homemade Taste Carendeira who are giving 50% of their proceeds to a community feeding program that Theresa our friend is organizing almost everyday to help feed the worst effected victims of Typhoon Odette. It has certainly given us hope that the magic of Siargao island is still here.

Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

The sense of normalcy is coming back. I'm really glad you guys didn't leave. It really would've magnified and prolonged the trauma. On the ground, you're seeing the rebuilding/healing which is good for the psyche. The island and you guys will all be stronger from it.
