I did method 2 and method 3 and it doesn't work. I went to Hkey_ LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft Windows Defender Policy Manager and changed the value of Allow UserUI in 1. Hope it helps

Hey thanks man, this worked (second method followed by first one). I've seen other videos too and was very confused as to belive them or not but I tried your tutorial and it worked on first try. Actually I was first watching this in incognito (as I don't want tutorial vids in my recommendation) but your video worked so well that I came here to like and comment. To anyone who's reading this and is suffering from the same problem, you can trust this guy (this video atleast as this worked for me). • Also you can ask me anything in replies to insure I'm not a bot :) Edit : it didn't work :( actually it did work for some time but then again after some time (1-2 min) it went bad. You can try tho, maybe it would work.
@@Aayan1942 hey man if you're suffering from this problem just reinstall windows (that's what I did) and by chance if you don't have a genuine windows key, go to those shops which will give you a windows for 150rs (around 200-300 pakistan money) have a good night.

1st method was not working because windows defender advanced threat protection was not there in the list, only windows defender firewall was there, hence i tried method 2, then method 3. It worked. Thank you so much man, keep doing this great work. Really appreciated.

my laptop become bootloop after the real protection if off(after i restart it)..is that because my windows is not genuine?..because my laptop is second hand

File corruption. Open command prompt as an admin and type the following commands one by one after each restart : Sfc /scannow Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
To resolve the issue go to 1) windows 10 settings > update and security > recovery > reset this pc > keep my files and proceed 2) windows 11 Settings > system > recovery > reset this pc > keep my file files Proceed with onscreen instructions Note :- it will delete all your installed apps but keep all your files
@@sush9889 I'm planning to reformat my windows 10 PC and wipe out all file in C & D, hoping that a "new state" PC can bring back the Windows Antivirus, will you think this works? In addition, may I know whats the reason you said not to wipe out apps/files while rebooting?
@@Spadenace I said because may be some files you have that you want to keep. If they are not necessary, move them to any other partition and reinstall windows on C. There is no point deleting all drive partitions. For me, only repairing the C drive using a bootable windows 11 usb worked !
