For me the highlight was when you mentioned that the students who were there all the time were able to accurately instruct the ones who had come for the day. That is when you know your instructions were understood. I am a retired teacher and know how precious this situation is!!
The statement that you made that the attendees were teaching new people. It’s just an a credit to Hayden as to how good of a teacher he is cause if you can turn around and teach someone else, it means you absorbed it. I am so envious and so happy that so many people were able to be there and help. Unfortunately I could not one of these days I will be I cannot wait to meet you guys and Ashley, you are a rockstar for going to the grocery store that many times.
Don't forget get to hit that like button folks! You know you love this channel!
I've overused "Awesome" ... So, in the future, I'll be selecting from the following list: breathtaking, amazing, stunning, astounding, astonishing, (my personal fav) awe-inspiring, stupendous, staggering, extraordinary, incredible, unbelievable, magnificent, wonderful, spectacular, remarkable, phenomenal, prodigious, miraculous, sublime, impressive, mind-boggling, mind-blowing, out of this world, amazeballs, badass, and finally, wondrous. I think they are all appropriate... Keep up the good work! Thank you for sharing. Kindest regards
The food to fuel these workers is so important 🎉well done Ashley
love the new fridge.
It takes a lot of patience to teach, and it takes a lot of patience to learn. Looks like a great crew all around! Fun to watch 👏👏👏
HIGH FIVE to all the HOMIES Hayden and of course , all the new workshop students/helpers.
🤠👋❤️
Thanks for the heads up about the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday videos. Jett is right Ada, you handled that bag like a champ! Thanks for explaining the tiny spot for the wood stove! Wow, he knows how to fold for a perfect end. That was awesome when he had the lady workshop attendee tamp flat the bag for starting a buttress. That was great when he taught about the different type of soils. I can so understand why you weren't in the video Ashley. I'm sure the food was awesome! Thanks for explaining about the stabilized and unstabilized sections of the bags being laid down. I didn't know you could do that. It makes sense that you would put the cement mix in where a door or window is. That was great that other attendees started teaching the day attendees. Yes, that vortexing of the earth bags does look physically challenging. Thanks so much for this video Longnecker family!
I might have missed the drinking boat with Heyden..but he's a bloody joy to watch!! So Hayden and Ashley's amazing father should move in for a year to work ..and that would be some dam fine content! Tho you folks are smashing it! Maximum respect for what you are doing on the grander scale too.
Yay for 3 days a week!! 🙌🏻🎉❤️ I missed you Ashley, I bet your food was delicious though. Love you all!❤
It's looking great allready! I can imaging how tired specialy Hayden must be after 3 days of teaching... Building, explaining and taking care that everyone understands every step, overviewing the realisation and that all people are able to work on every tiny step in the whole process... 👍👏👏
Ánd keeping a good mind at the end of the day! Hayden's laughing is fun to hear!
I'm very glad that there are more videos coming this month 😊. Started thinking already that by this 'velocity' (: 1day adobyclass-video/week) we will be surprised to see your own big house rised up from the ground in january! 😄
Good morning! It's a good dome day when yall post a video! 😉🙃
Wing dings!
At this rate, building your house is going to take 5 years just to lay the bags. I hope you have extra people helping you. All the best to such a beautiful family.
No it’s not
It is a cool experience to see the students become the teachers ❤.
By the way, I adore Hayden. He seems so fun and he really does a great job of demonstrating every detail and explaining the whys. My question for the tiny shiny family is: what have you learned in this workshop that can be applied to hyper adobe? Anything to improve your process or workflow?
We'll be getting to all that in future videos for sure.
Favorite word to say: SCONCE. 🤗
strongest kids, mentally and physically 💪
Really awesome love that the kids are learning right along...
I’m so impressed with Hayden and Ashley and Johnathan and the kids of course lol. I’m just guessing Ashley is an amazing person and cook as well. I always enjoy seeing your videos ❤❤❤
Wow! Wonderful team work! Energy level is high!😅
-Ashley, you are amazing. Just one question: Will the recipes from this workshop get added to the recipe book? Love seeing Ada asking her questions. Thanks for wingdings, Jonathan! Hayden's teaching is excellent, love the use of plywood for lecture board. Looking so good! Super adobe is so clean and trim. Excellent team!
Looking like so much fun. Wish I was young again😮
As usual I'm proud of your kids hard workers some employers will get lucky when they hire one of your kids some day.
Good morning you guys hope you guys are having a wonderful day and a wonderful happy day out there so keep up the good work and God bless you guys and have fun and just be careful❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊
These videos are as awesome as I thought they d be
Another great Tiny Shiny adventure featuring day 3. I need to do something to my well house.
I will certainly remember 'Wing Dings'. Great moment, plus I love all the other amazing stuff.
What a crew you have there!🙌🙌❤🌈👏👏
Like many of your subscribers, I get excited when I see a new Tiny Shiny video. I get a fresh cup of coffee and then sit back and enjoy.
I can relate 🤠☕️
Ok I can deal with not having anyone to drink morning coffee with on Tuesday and Thursday. But what am I going to do on the weekends. 😂😂😂
❤ So happy for you guys 🎉
Maybe a video of all of the video of the soil class. I know you captured most of it, but there may be some that might make it clearer for some. Thanks for sharing. I am too old to build with earth like that. I am glad you took this while you still can.
Coming along great guys.Ashley you are doing a great job feeding the guests. You can’t be in both places, but we know you’re there, you just keep doing your favourite thing.Love n Light to you all 🥰
Good morning everyone ☀️
Favorite word to say..."Poop"😊
Don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell you.
Great job on the dome!
It sure is a lot more complicated than I would have thought.
Love y'all ❣️
❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐕
Lol I so thought it was a Doggy door until you said it was a guest house. Ashley you rock!!! It is exhausting hosting anything let alone for several weeks.. 😁
Favorite word, truck. Not for what it is but just for the way it sounds.
Hmmmm…🤔
Just FYI the "tomato cans" that Hayden wanted during your supply trip are called "#10 cans" and you can find them with lots of different content options. I personally by olives in them and recan into canning jars to save money.
Wingdings. There's a word I had totally forgotten. 😃
Haydon, I'm from OZ, NSW, Near Coffs Harbour. .love your buildings. Thank all of you for showing us how to do this. Most interesting.....ta. ...
Well done you guys. A mammoth job for all and it looks like a lot of fun.
This is the most bizarre experience! I’m back home on my couch in Australia, watching myself and the team smash this dome out! It feels really weird!
I miss everyone and the property very much 😢 ❤
Well i am in Australia watching an incredibly talented Australian teaching the way forward. Really enjoyed watching the superadobe structure come together and the workshop a great success, Ashley Jonathan and kids worked so hard making certain that the workshop went without any hitches ...a wonderful family total respect 😊
WE MISS YOU TOO!
Ditto 🤠
Ya'll are such a sweet family. Thank you for sharing this build with us.
Uguys r awesome! I hear they r doing earthbags inMaui!!!❤
Just learning to make the ends neat and tidy, placing barbwire the right way, lifting bags and placing feet to fill..etc,etc, etc..and i am not building a superadobe..almost 70..but i love watching and learning..i might be helpful to others in the future...
So awesome to see another video! Missed you guys!
Living in the round~ Fantastic!
😮😮😮 So awesome how far you guys have come along😊😊 I absolutely love this so much and ty for all the knowledge ❤ I haven't been on for a minute😢 but am dealing with life as we all do ,I'm just excited to see all of your accomplishments 😊 What an amazing team❤
Such good information!!!😊🎉❤
Well, I hope Ashley's fear and panic attacks from shopping are going away. With me it took similarly facing down my enemy.
To create a mass of meals daily from such a Tiny Shiny Kitchen must be incredibly hard. You always have your great family to give you a hand.
I watch Jim and Jessica on Our Self-Reliant Life, formerly Green Dream Project, and its a sweet couple building a huge super adobe dome, a large cistern, a food storage dome, depending on rain water and self sustainment, while currently living in a tralier. I think they showed up at an event with you and others at your friends over at My Little Homestead.
Robots love it so much keep it up as always 💘
👌🐔📸 Oklahoma Chicken Cam Approves Of This Video! 👌🐔📸
It's going up quickly!!!
😊TY for the VIDEO ❤ PEACE
“COMPUTER OBSCRA” Wingdings. I had an ASP, IT Service back in the day. COMPLETELY FORGOT about Wingdings lol
My favorite word is acetaminophen! I love how it flows when you say it! 😜
Amazing the workshop is coming along!
It looked too small, but now that the walls are taller and someone was inside it looks bigger
Wingdings & Webdings... I'm familiar with them both! 🤣
Awesome you guys❤
🇦🇺 love the progress 😂
Wow you folks are doing great!
I just love you guys and all the energy
OMG! Wingdings! I remember
Amazing!
Unbelievable content - WOW !!!
Will you be making available a detailed instruction piece of building with this bag?
We shot a ton of video of this workshop because Hayden is building out a free video course in the future ;)
Fantastic news, I will be watching for Hayden’s video series. I have a garden shed to build with the next couple years.
Thanks guys 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 📯🕯🌟🕯📯
❤️👍👍👍
Fun! Great job what are the interior dimensions? My daughter darted a 9ft diameter.
It’s 9’
Building looks great and I’m sure it made sense when you’re there but I honestly don’t understand anything you guys are doing. Lol!! It has nothing to do with the Australian accent, the bits of video are only tid bits but sheeeeesh! Way over my head. 🤣😀
Have you ever thought of a "slow tv" episode?
Maybe I have too much time on my hands?? ;)
I miss the sound of those cement mixers and all the voices of everyone working together. :)
:) That's for in person for sure. The internet's attention span is too short, unfortunately :(
Hello 👋 ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow…..
Wish we could get a glimpse of the meals
Ashley's smoked pulled pork and her mac and cheese omg...chef's kiss yummy
Seems like a lot of "man-hours" for little progress to me, but im a carpenter, so what wood i know ?
😅😅
The American is standing there with a T-Shirt on. The Aussie is wearing a long-sleeved thick sweater. Hmm... I guess an American desert feels like an air conditioned room to an Aussie... 🙂
ya'll know, they built this for a place for Jonathon to go when he's in the doghouse!
fun fact i lost a bet to my wife, i told her this would be a 7 part series, lasting until the end of the year. i figured they would travel back east to visit family over the holidays.
Over 80 comments when I popped in and 10 likes, very weird. Support is liking the post, it’s the least we can do.
Ragazzi si po' venire Ance noi costruire il casa di super Adobe....?
I wonder if hexagonal shaped walls are doable and equally strong. Just wondering because round walls require custom made furniture while a flat wall doesn't.
Unfortunatey no. You’d have a ton of outward pressure on each corner whereas the circle is pushing in on itself. Checkout our hyperadobe roundhouse design though. Circular but with straight walls intersecting inside to help with the furniture problem.
Does anyone know if I can build a building like this in New England? or is it too wet?
Different climates will bring different challenges for both building and plastering. We aren't familiar enough with your climate to give any recommendations, but there are plenty of other resources on the internet for folks that have done something similar if you search around a bit :)
I want to build a EarthBag home in the Dominion republic but I need someone who knows how to build because we have no clue how. 😩 i already have my design drawn on paper.
you should contact Hayden at @curvatecture. He'd walk you through it i bet. he's a great teacher
How many rattle snakes have y’all disposed of this year?
