I do love this idea of not having to drag luggage back and forth to different countries. That is a whole different standard of living than most of the people that I know. Having to get on planes and go through security and they confiscate your items also overhead baggage or check ed luggage. I would love to take a flight with no luggage at all.

Instead he has to book a flight which might be 30 hours after when he wanted to leave, travel to the airport, get there 2 hours early, go through security, board a 6 hour flight, go through security, travel from the airport to his home (at God knows what time) go to his home just to get his clothes which he didn't carry, and then have to travel to the airport, wait 2 hours, board a flight to his next intended destination. If he carried a suitcase he could have just spent an extra night where he was, and then onto his next destination.
Hmmmm. And having different computers on each place. No need to move it across countries. No risk on having it through security controls. Just a tablet for the move, with only essential information.

Hello , I very agree on your point of view. I bought 3 apartments in Cape Verde first line at beach. Good maintained , just for 50k euros each. The good thing is that 2 % tax leads to total cost buying less than 3 per cent. No malaria, low criminality, language Portugese. Lovely and cheap food and drinks. Sounds very exhausting Andrew having 6 places. I have 3 homes . I had 4 but I used 1 only 10 days a year and found it easier just to stay in a hotel. Hotels are clean, swimming pool, room service. It is hardly possible to even live in 3 places I am about to get rid of one more and just live in 2 nice places.
6 homes seems like a lot to me to manage especially mentally. Why not just rent while there and avoid the stress of property management with all the costs and time required? I can understand it if the goal is residency.
@@nomadcapitalist Looking forward to it. I've watched your other videos - sounds like your homes sit empty and sometimes for over a year. Risky. Any # of things could happen that could damage the property such as a leak. Insurance policies usually require a human to check in on a property while you're away for prolonged periods of time or they can void your policy. Also having all that capital tied up in assets that are illiquid and not generating revenue (through short term rental or otherwise) seems like an inefficient use of capital, however, it sounds like it's a pure lifestyle play for you. Just an inefficient one in my mind (unless it comes with residency).

How do we manage food security? With apartments and condos, we won’t have gardens and land. Is this an issue or do you choose countries where future food security is not an issue?

A Boxabl home is hardly a shack. It is a well-designed, compact tiny home and I really think that Elon Musk should be respected for selling his mansions to live in the very homes, even if tiny, that he is selling to others. Some of the designs are very on-trend, very functional, and would be conducive to a lifestyle where one can focus on business. One's choice of decor can vary and he may not care for elegance and fine tea. However, he is not living in a shack.

Andrew, how will you and your clients address the oncoming limitations on travel and flights placed by carbon-print regulations most likely reinforced with government-controlled central-bank digital currencies?
The rich will not be subject to the same restrictions as the plebs. See Davos: they want to eliminate most air travel for the general population while they fly their private jets. Because science…
Most of the world isn't doing that, only a few deranged companies in the West. A huge portion of the world ( BRICS and SCO ) are moving away from the dollar and back to a gold backed currency.
Right!
Since the virtue signaling elites will resist restrictions on flying around the world to eco conferences, it will never happen. 😂😂😂
Do Americans understand the term “pied a terre”? It is French and means “foothold” or literally foot on the ground. A place to call your own.
it didnt end well for rich french.
@@fwefhwe4232 Rich French have multiple residences. Many go to Morocco. The CEO of Louis Vuitton gave up his French citizenship for Bege one when Macron wanted to raise taxes in 2020 or 2021. 😂😂😂 I am sure they are glad they did because the French are destroying Paris right now for over a month and they raided the Louis Vuitton offices last week or so. 😅😅😅
Love your style
Sounds very exhausting Andrew having 6 places. I have 3 homes . I had 4 but I used 1 only 10 days a year and found it easier just to stay in a hotel. Hotels are clean, swimming pool, room service. It is hardly possible to even live in 3 places I am about to get rid of one more and just live in 2 nice places.
6 homes seems like a lot to me to manage especially mentally. Why not just rent while there and avoid the stress of property management with all the costs and time required? I can understand it if the goal is residency.
We are posting a video on this topic in the new year - stay tuned!
Hi there .
Is it possible to live on a yacht in the Med and drift from 1 country to the next and be tax free if your non EU citizens? Assuming you use say the Spanish digital visa or non lucrative visa to get round the 90 day rule but never stay more than 90 days in 1 country ?
@Pat Risberg yep. Was planning on going into Gibraltar every winter to exit EU then re enter on new 18 month temporary visit. Can you really do that and be tax free if your an EU citizen !!
@Pat Risberg you can easily avoid VAT on the yacht, many do it whilst still spending time in the EU.
@Pat Risberg so screwed by brexit..
We totally get this and find Mexico to be wonderful for one of our places.
Absolutely forward!
I can't agree more with the decor and ambiance being native to youur location. Why have a house in Bogata or Belgrade if they all look the same, and that's where you came from ? The easiest way to integrate into a culture is immersion.
How do we manage food security? With apartments and condos, we won’t have gardens and land. Is this an issue or do you choose countries where future food security is not an issue?
Why not Bahrain? one more baasically lifetime residency for just 50k BHD. And it's also a tax free country.
tell me more
Please show us contacts where we can make enquiries to buy a 2 bed home.
Any idea how much to buy in terms of $USD?
Thanks. God Bless.
Yes I would love to have more details please
I want to learn as well, please elaborate more. Thanks
Love this, makes sense.
Είσαι απίθανος 👍
What are your thoughts about Quito Ecuador? how convenient is the fact that it is dollarized?
The way things are heading, won't be able to travel too much soon.
You are building the dream life.
5 apts are empty most of the time instead of renting out to locals or tourists! If I had 6 of these I would rent out 5 of them for profits and stay in Hyatt whenever I am in town instead with the rent money!:)
in some countries once someone rents it is very difficult and time consuming to evict them
What do you do with these houses when you are not there?
Turn the AC off and leave. Or allow friends or colleagues to use them.
Thank you for this!
What about the issue of moving money around the world?
You'll get so much more enjoyment from places over the world
I got 99 problems and my mug ain’t one
I’ve noticed these opportunities to purchase citizenship and I would think it would be hard to transfer money into the US to buy a home. Is it relatively hard to move money to purchase a home in the US?
Lol it's easy. Judt ask the Japanese, Chinese, mexico and so on.
Easy. They are paying cash all day, every day. Don't even need to be a resident, much less a citizen.
Love this video! I totally agree with you!
If you live by yourself it's not. With a partner its still not too bad. With 3 kids, its a shack. It's all about perspective
You spoil us tonight, thnx ever so much ~
really cool lifestyle
😢I would love to do that too, but I'm too old.
If the maintenance is cheaper wouldn’t the return be cheaper… ? Wondering
There is a big reason why Andrew “pops in” every now and then to Latin America but he chooses specifically to live in south east Asia.
So....is there a timeshare program that isn't a shady operation? Or do I rent a property under management from a company that I own?
You don't rent them out. The maintenance costs of his places aren't high and it's just not worth the hassle. He's not mortgaging them.
