When Hodge stood for something, These same guys didn't get behind him. They cared more about money. If all the black athletes had stood up for him and boycotted the game. Hodge would have been able to retire in the league.

Elton Francis but most of the Black athletes were once like us, the “regular” or average African Americans who are poor & powerless. Black people’s plan is always to get some Black folks a seat at the table, but that never works because said Black folks turn their backs against the Black community when they gain wealth & power.

Mr. Hodges, I apologize for letting the media/NBA influence my dislike for you during this time along with silky smooth Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. I am appalled by the comparisons of today's athletes to your courage in this video. I am an adult now and understand your passion. YOU should have a permanent job on Inside the NBA, ESPN, etc etc. rather than these cats...minus E.J. he is sincere. It's all good though, I know you know by now "All money ain't good money!" I wish you well.

good on him but let me tell u at the end of the day money wont help you succeed in the grave once you die you die and that all, that temporary satifaciton wont last long all that money wont do good but using that money for good is what can create happiness not being selfish wit it, and also money can help ease stress and financial issues and get you anything you want in a materilstic standpoint but it cant create long term happiness cause at the end of the day were all gonna meet GOD and he will ask what you did with the riches he gave you

Craig Hodges wrote a letter to the President about the conditions and issues of the Black Community and not the "Country". He was all about improving our community! #MichaelJordan did not care about the issues that plague our community, he only cared that his brand is successful and money coming into his pockets.
