    I have that motor and their 2700kv motor. I have actually ran the 4650kv on 4s it gets hot and i have a burn scar on my left ring finger but its still running. The 2700kv im using in a Slash on 4s and no issues. You’ll love the motors. They’re tanks!!! Happy RC’ing Y’all!!!!

      Awesome man!!! I can’t wait to try it out! I really think the mods I did will open it up that much more!

      I love it, you are right! It is faster than the Velineon and has hit nearly 100 mph in my Bandit.

    Very informative video. I never really though much about how connections and conductor size effects the performance of an RC. Resistance = voltage drop and at such low voltages it's more noticeable. Nice work prepping the butt splices for solder. Cant wait to see how things worked out. 🏆🏆⭐⭐

      Thanks man!
      I think I picked up around 2 or 3 mph with just changing out the 3.5 mm bullets!

      They sound promising but we will see how it performs. It had the specs I wanted to I was thrilled to give it a try. It just took a lot of figuring things out for me as this is my first brushless motor "build".

    How has the motor been

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Excellent! I did modify it with the larger gauge wires and it brought my Bandit up to nearly 100 mph
      I have a used it a lot and run it HARD and so far so good!
      If you check out my Bandit playlist, you can see a ton of videos on it.

    Unless it states on the box ROHS solder than it’s regular solder

    • @BriansRCStuff
      @BriansRCStuff  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man! I know the higher end motors like Castle use that ROHS but yeah, it must just be regular! I don't see any reason why what I did will be an issue but I just am second guessing myself as I had never done anything like that before.

      @@BriansRCStuff yep should be 100% fine as long as you didn’t get any solder on the armature.. looked clean so I’d say no worries 😉

    i am having the most impossible time, trying to find a dang brushless motor that will fit in my arrma granite grom AND be green, why these companies make every other damn color on the planet for a motor but hardly ever green unless it's gigantic and will never fit in a 1/18 scale little grom (or if i do find one it's 200$ which is 80$ more than my grom lol so im not doing that , i'd just buy another truck, i hate being super picky and wanting everything to be green lol

      What size motor are you looking for? XTeam has small motors like 24 and 28 mm and they are green.😎. They are like $25.
