It's kind of tough to find a flat IEM because they are mostly tuned for "enjoyment" these days. One of my favorite flat(ish) IEM's is the Fearless S8P. You'd have to find one used but it's good. An all balanced armature set like the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite would also be a good choice for mixing/mastering. It isn't too over pronounced in any frequency range.
@@TheAudioNomad-bj4ip Thanks, I'll look into the Fearless. Funny, I was looking at the Kiwi OLs, about a month ago, as possible candidates. I'd a chance to audition Thieaudio's Prestige's and thought they struck a nice balance of work and play. Balanced enough, with a tad more satisfying bass. Hearing nearly everything I expected to hear and feel from a mix I was very familiar with on the Prestige, made a huge impact. I'm pretty sure I could get away working on them, because they also remind me a whole lot of my Genelecs.
I'm just saying hi ¡¡
and being humble 😊
Great video!
What good IEM, with a flat response would you suggest?
(BTW this is a recording/mix/mastering question. LOL)
Thanks in advance!
