So does nobody watch this show anymore? I grew up watching these guys, and it’s really sad to watch the show now. I check in when something big happens and every time I watch smart people ignore obvious facts or outright lie to defend their team. Which actually makes sense for a sports show, just not in reality.
This Lebron v Jordan post bball career argument Dan is making is apples to oranges IMO. You can't compare the raw counting numbers of career earnings or net worth because Jordan is 20 years his senior. The money is just different. Lebron clearly never aspired to be a sportswear mogul the way Mike did, and vice versa with Lebron's media pursuits and sports agency.

They have no other content. With all sports having their own social media presences, is there any reason to watch ESPN?
Overall, the episodes haven't been that great since Dan returned. But I'll take it. Even Jordan and Kobe didn't always shoot well. But Dan would do well to remember the Foxworth/Samson/Torre line-up for the future. There's an easy chemistry between those three. As Meadowlark continues to grow, I see them cooking up new things in the lab, giving new opportunities to the younger guys. Throwing different combinations together and seeing what comes out of it. That's a cool concept, and it's interesting to watch. But there's real magic in Foxworth/Samson/Torre. Once a week maybe? I don't know how that would work with Foxworth and ESPN.
Also where are all the comments? This is a huge topic regardless of the show, so why are almost all of the 22 comments about sports? Either no one is watching anymore, which is depressing. The only other reason is they or TH-cam are deleting comments they disagree with.
Dan’s obsession with Lebron James and “proving” whatever point he wants to make when he ALWAYS bringing up Lebron and throwing shots at Jordan is sad. Sad in part because he uses the same media tricks people like Skip Bayless and others use vs Lebron. Michael Jordan is the blueprint for not only Lebron James, but for every athlete to come after him. Tiger Woods, Lebron James, Messi, Federer, etc. if only Michael Jordan had a Michael Jordan to learn from
Certainly not going to speak for Dan, but I don't think he'd dispute the point you're making. LeBron can benefit from what Jordan did while at the same time exceeding Jordan, like Jordan did with Magic. That being said, I do disagree with Dan almost entirely. The only thing that LeBron will exceed Jordan on is taking advantage of the player empowerment era. Michael Jordan was born in North Carolina in 1963, I sincerely hope that LeBron would better take advantage of player empowerment than someone born before the civil rights act was even passed.
Dan is a masochist, he constantly says how he hates politics and they upset him yet it’s all he can talk about. The man loves being sad and the sympathy he gets from it.
I wish Mike would stop talking about "lots of good guys with guns" because his bias is showing. The reality for a LOT of law abiding citizens, the "good guys" you speak of, are not good guys to us. And Trump is the leading spokesperson for that mentality. I wish Roy or Amin or JuJu or SOMEONE on this show will speak to that.
