He seems to be able to break tackles at will, then when he does get tackled just takes four defenders over the line with him. Lethal step as well.

He's in great form and a consistent performer. I can't remember Telea making a single mistake in the rugby championship or in super rugby this season, for that matter.

How come it is so hard for all black wingers to be consistent throughout their careers ? So many of them are "the best in the world" for a season or two and then they just become random and are instantly replaced by the next big thing.
Guildford, Kahui, Ranger, Gear, Savea, Milner-Skudder, Naholo, Bridge... Yes there's a lot of insane talents emerging every year but that shouldn't make them become ordinary players.
Sheer competition, and the fact that raw speed unavoidably degrades with age. It's likely the reason Ioane made the career choice to switched to centre. Savea's actually exceptional that he was the incumbent wing for 4 years.

Form doesn’t seem to count for much with Foster if you name doesn’t end in smith Barrett or ioane you ain’t getting on the field

Caleb Clark wouldn't of half of those tries. Telea can create something out of nothing. Clarke is one dimensional. Teleas only fault. Is he can rush up out of position in defence and good teams will expose that.
