This looks so amazing!!! You definitely inspire me to bake more. Thank you for making this video. I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now, by the way! Keep up the great work.
Delicate Flowah the mascarpone really makes the tiramisu flavour come to life but you could use cream cheese (although not cold like the mascarpone it’ll need nesting first) or just a vanilla and rum whipped cream
Made the original and they were 👌 Have you ever made a chocolate french silk pie? I made one by smitten kitchen which is lovely although thought it was very sweet... would love to see a version by yourself!
The cookies themselves will last for about 4 days kept in a sealed container but once filled they need to be refrigerated and they’ll keep for 2-3 days
Hi Edd, sorry to ask such dull questions but do you have any recommendations as to where you can get good quality large baking sheets and ice-cream scoops like the ones used in the video in the UK? Am having a bit of trouble, particularly with ice cream scoops as the levers always break in my experience! Thank you very much - have been enjoying your recipes for many years now and they are often my go to! Can't wait for the new book!
Ha don’t worry I’m the baking nerd that likes those questions 😂 I get my trays from Nordic Ware and the scoops are trickier but Nisbets sell some although tricky to get good quality
They almost give a whoopie pie vibe, my go to quick bake snack. Might have to give this recipe a go!
They look whoopie pie like for sure but the texture is totally different, much more brownie like :)
I can't wait for my book to arrive. My trays are ready and waiting !
You had me at brown butter and coffee ! ☕ 🥰
"This is the important part". "This is the most important part." "No! This is the most important part!" 😂
Hahahaha I know I realised I said that loads but I stand by each of them 😂
This looks so amazing!!! You definitely inspire me to bake more.

As soon as I submit my thesis, I'm baking those beauties!!!
Sounds like a great plan to me, good luck with the thesis
Late reply but I hope the submission went well!

The Boy Who Bakes OMG, no doubt! Drooling already 🤤
I’ve got everything but the mascarpone!

These look amazing !!
Diane Powell thanks! We had to share them so we didn’t eat the whole batch 😂
Can we substitute the brown sugar and granulated sugar for the diabetic version of brown sugar and granulated sugar? Thanks so much!!
Made the original and they were 👌

They look AMAZING!!! :D
Thanks they were pretty spectacular (if I say so myself 😂)
if I let the cookies outside of the fridge for hours, would they be soggy?
what if i want to eliminate the coffee completely? does it changes the outcome?
p/s i cant drink coffee, it makes me jittery and gives me palpitations
Make the original version then, it has no coffee just chocolate. The recipe is linked in the corner of the video :)
They look super amazing!! Just wondering, can I store them at room temperature? Will the cream melt?
The cookies will keep at room temp but once filled yes they’re best stored in the fridge
What brand of vanilla do you use?
Hi Can I use cream cheese instead of mascarpone cheese?
How long does these last outside of the fridge? Does the filling melt or get runny after a while or does it hold its shape?
The cookies themselves will last for about 4 days kept in a sealed container but once filled they need to be refrigerated and they’ll keep for 2-3 days

@@TheBoyWhoBakes Thank you!
How to make it eggfree?
What espresso machine do you have? 👀
I have a sage bambino plus (same as breville in the US and AUS just a different name in the UK)
I would have used freeze dried coffee for the browned butter so we didn’t have to strain it
You can do that if you like but I don’t really like the flavour of instant coffee but it’s your preference
The Boy Who Bakes when baking I use an instant espresso powder, not a regular freeze dried coffee.
Did you mean to use that screen-grab as the thumbnail?
No the video the finished uploading before I had a chance to upload the real one 😂 thankfully its replaced now 👌🏻
Why don't you just measure the temperature you want? That would alleviate the imprecision of timing.
