Quentin before he got humbled by the curse was something else, Playboy, Bad Boy, dabbled in the black arts and will do anything to win….. Quentin was something else when Barnabas arrived in 1897
This is CLASSIC DS! This is what we all watched & couldn't get enough of...the villian getting his own justice. But on this show today's villian is tomorrow's hero! Loved the actress who played grandmother. These people spent more time burying & exhuming bodies than anything else! Looooved the 1897 series -- the best characters. Grayson Hall at her best playing Magda, 🪦👻🦇
I don't like that Quentin, and when his Grandmother's ghost tormented him, I thought he deserved it! That man whom Quentin gave the will to is not trustworthy, either. The little boy is going to be in trouble if Quentin takes him to the cottage to meet that nasty man. The kid is rather stupid, but he doesn't deserve to be "sacrificed". It seems that the Collinses don't trust each other, and they don't trust Barnabas, either. What a nasty bunch of characters they are. However, I'm hooked on this story line, and cannot wait to see what happens next! ~Janet in Canada
Grayson Hall (Magda) and Thayer David (Sandor) were brilliant as gypsies in this. Really showed their great acting ability.
I'd be scared to go into the study too.

Quentin using the one person he loved (Jamison) for nefarious purposes. Says a lot about his character ...
Quentin actually loved beautiful Beth Chavez also.
@@TheHelper-l9m do you think he did? I couldn't tell one way or the other...
What a classic show.

Is this your first time watching this? I only ask because you seem to have a fresh perspective on it ...
Yes. I have never seen Dark Shadows, and wonder why it isn't being re-run on ME TV. This is one cool Soap Opera! ~Janet in Canada@@melodiefrances3898
Poor Quinton his ultimate fear was poverty that made him more vicious
Besides 2 handsome evil men in one room 😍 wow
This kind of stuff happens in real life family fighting over money. So, this isn't scary. And ask how many have gone threw it.
Can't wait to see Angelique again
Evan Hanley will unintentionally see to that.
