I don't think the unpreventable tragedy is necessarily a bad ending, but it needed to be framed more as "the burden of responsibility for this shouldn't be placed on another kid's shoulders". There's some truth to that imo.
tbh I was thinking the same thing. I think if they had leaned into the theming of "sometimes awful things happen but you are a child and it's not fair to hold you responsible" it would have been a meaningful lack of choice. But as it is it's just robbing the players of agency.
it sucks because, if isolated or done properly, many of these themes could have worked well. the humor got a laugh out of me more than once i'm ashamed to admit, but it felt wrong bc of the subject matter of the game. the art style is really neat even if it is super A E S T H E T I C. it has a lot going for it but NONE of it was utilized well, gameplay wise or plot wise
Yeah thats what i was thinking the message was supposed to be, that it was chris’s fault for being that way and no ammount of appeasing him may ever make him truly change. Unfortunately because of the goofy side plot shenanigans it doesn’t work that way 💀
IMO what would have been way more interesting and meaningful (if harder to implement) is if the ending was different, but it *wasn't* contingent on whether you befriend him or not. Like if you try to befriend him to prevent a shooting, he quickly realizes how hollow that is, but if you go out of your way to spend time and include him, he doesn't. Or - you don't befriend him but something you do or say causes him to join a club or something that gives him community and meaning, or causes him to get professional help for his issues. Also, what I'd do is keep that "I'll shoot the place up if I don't make a friend in five days", but make it apparent later that was just a really inappropriate, socially awkward attempt at a "joke". That is something I can believe a lonely awkward teen doing. I know this is just me idea-guying but there were ways to tackle this tastefully, even keeping the opening hook as it is.
out of all of the plot oddities, it bothers me the most that the game pretends a mute person wouldn't be able to communicate through sign language and writing 🧐
Like is their only idea of a mute person is the silent protagonist trope in games like the soulsborne games or zelda and the like????? Didn't they consume ANY media with a mute person in it? Did they not meet or see ANY mute person in real life?????
I remember there was this pirate cartoon where the monkey couldn't speak, but he used an old-timey set of flashcards he could flip through to get his point across (stuff like the flashcards falling in a funny column of As to simulate a falling scream)
As someone who is disabled and sometimes is not able to speak for many reasons, it was very relieving to hear you just bark out “don’t fetishise my disability-?!” Because I feel like the game unintentionally made people see how WEIRD THAT SHIT FEELS.
People who fetishized depression be like “I love the aesthetic of being sad and alone🥰.” And I’m over here like, “Um…no? YOU DO NOT WANT DEPRESSION? WANTING TO KILL YOURSELF IS NOT FUN???
The ending honestly just reaks of deep bitterness, like Faris had already been so deep in the slump that he thought that nobody could pull him out of it and in turn giving off the message that no matter what you try, you cant change something or someone for the better, where he eventually lost all his passion and just ended up making soulless cash grabs. The game as a whole just feels like a geniune unanswered cry for help which was burried deep under bad jokes and trying to be edgy
That's kinda what I thought. Which is not to say give this game a pass - it does look pretty terrible and is incredibly insensitive. All "art" is subject to criticism, and it's good that we have analyses like this one that point out the many, many flaws. But I also feel like I see a lot of people who have the opinion that to make a game with this subject matter is wrong - and frankly, there is no such thing as wrong when it comes to creative works. There's bad, and there's stuff that doesn't work, but the act of creating it is not wrong. If we start making that particular judgement - that some things just shouldn't be made, period - it's going to make the whole creative community turn into a bland wasteland. tl;dr: the game is terrible, and people are right to point out how terrible it is, but we can't police what people are allowed to make.
While I don’t disagree, I kind of like that the ending doesn’t really change, because ultimately you can’t control what other people do. And I think the video game trope of “say the right thing, get the good ending” can leave people feeling like there’s always a way to help someone else, if you just try hard enough to say or do the right thing, and honestly that just isn’t always true. If the game had been more cohesive and less flippant with the subject matter I feel like it could have had a lot more impact.
@@sabresister you would be surprised how much impact a single person can have on someone else, both in a positive or negative way. While just being friends with someone wont magically solve all their problems, just being there for someone and listening to their problems so they know they arent alone even when the whole world seems against them can make a giant difference and could stop from taking drastic actions. The world can be a really cruel place at times, and just being a light a for someone in a dark place could be enough to prevent a tragedy.
@@sabresister - I agree with your point in a vacuum and think that it’s a fun concept. While I think you underestimate how much impact one person can have, it’s true that some people aren’t willing or available to be changed, and it’s true that you cannot fix every problem. But I do also think it was executed extremely poorly due to the cynicism Faris put into the game-you get the same ending no matter what you do and how much effort is put in in a really unsatisfying way. Your “good” actions yield the same result as a player who actively went out of their way to bully Chris, which feels so underwhelming. It feels at times as though the game is punishing you for trying at all, which is not a feeling you want a game to have. I could see the “your actions didn’t change the ultimate outcome” ending working, but I think it would be difficult to balance it to be satisfying narratively and not frustrating to the player. I think this would be hard to get right, but maybe it could have commented on how in the “friendship” route you weren’t even actually a good friend to Chris as you did nothing about the bullying and watched it happen. Maybe the protagonist even realizes what a shitty friend they’ve been and apologizes to him-not really changing the ending that much, but giving the viewer a potentially emotional moment so that they feel like they got _something_ out of the experience. Or maybe, in light of you realizing that Chris isn’t a very good friend either and never intended to spare the school, you take matters into your own hands. The game can have a bad or sad ending, but it needs to feel like the player’s choices mattered even if they couldn’t fix things. This is all just speculation, though. Not a dev so I can’t really say what the best route would have been lol
Like you said, I think this game should've just been a weird indie game with random humor than have it center around preventing a school shooter, or be respectful. Sure, it may not get people's attention as quickly, but long term respect is important, along with just thinking through what you make. If Faris wanted a random humor game, Chris could have just threatened MC with something ridiculous, like dropping a moon in 5 days. If Faris wanted a serious story, it could be about a kid who gets a premonition of the tragedy and decides to help Chris, feeling guilty about not helping someone until it's too late, and the question of if people helping for their own goals is really helping.
I reckon it can still tackle a serious topic IF it took a break from the funny to actually address the serious topic. Dark humor and dark topics can’t mix, but it can be in the same room.
I just have to say: As someone who has psychogenic mutism (I can't speak in public, but can talk in circumstances where I feel comfortable), it's almost comical how the game implies that being unable to speak means you have literally NO other means of communication. I regularly write notes and use sign language to communicate, and I have almost no difficulty getting messages across to people, without having to say a single word. I'm sure Faris wanted to add 'tension' to the game by making it so you can't actually communicate your thoughts with others, but this was a pretty bizarre way to do it in my opinion, like he's never actually met a mute or deaf person in his life.
he could have just made a character who hates talking to explain why he doesnt even try communicating at all, all the “mute” talk could have been kids being ignorant and insensitive to what being “mute” actually is
@@Nobynoby2763what?? Dude dont just tell a random stranger over the internet who you know nothing about other than just mentioning having autism and IMMEDIATELY assume/give them a different diagnosis. It is rude, insensetive and invasive. Stop.
Im just kinda shocked that someone who seemed to have SOME chance of making good games ended up falling into the cash grab behavior of game devs. Honestly its kinda sad that this is all you see from them is some sick humor in a topic about something that people are genuinely affected by. This video is great, subbed and hope to see more good videos from you :-)
Faris definitely had potential, and I think he could still make a good game in the future, I just don’t know if he wants to put in the effort to do so. Thanks for the kind words :)
Faris' Introvert was his true passion project, garten of banban was made to advertise their merch, Introvert wasn't good or respectful at all, but it had passion. if that same force of passion was put into the Garten of Banban, maybe it wouldn't have been perfect, but you could at least sense that passion was put into the project, making the project respectable.
I think the sad thing is, is that his hand may have been forced when his games didn't perform well. He has bills to pay, it's just sad that another creative mind is once again churning terrible content.
I wonder if the Protagonist being mute was supposed to be a meta commentary/riff on the "Silent Protagonist but still inexplicably everyone's closest friend and confidant" trope.
Definitely could be that or also a commentary on people who know something but don’t speak up about it until after something has happened. But both are definitely possibilities.
@@quackquack4335 but wouldn’t being temporarily mute still be a disability (albeit temporary) because one cant speak? If not, how else could you define that?
@@quackquack4335 Go look up "selective mutism" and come back to me. Also, plenty of autistic people have nonverbal episodes, where the ability to speak either comes and goes altogether or speaking becomes much more difficult. It kinda seems like you just want to dismiss people's illnesses and disabilities because they aren't convenient to you.
I just want to point out 1 very important detail. These dudes are Canadian. Obviously, anyone can understand why school shootings are bad. But here in Canada, they're not the threat they are in America. It's like serial killers. You know they exist, and you know they're bad, but the average person doesn't think about serial killers when they're going about their day. I feel like the developer forgot that school shootings are a very real thing people worry about.
True, also if we brought up every game a developer made in the past before they blew up, we wouldn't of had a lot of games constantly coming out, I just hope this doesn't deter him from wanting to make other projects, I've seen big companies take teams and rip them apart, the community can do no different
This had potential to be a good game, I kinda like the visuals (without those annoying glitch effects) and the voice acting is decent. If only the creator had actual tact and didn’t just insert “lol random” humor. The writing sounds like something from a middleschooler, not a university student
That little secret bit where you go left is just genuinely sweet... like he really did have good intentions just wasn't sure what direction to take. If he tried to remake it with a more respectful tone to it i might actually give it shot
@@Arkangel630 The game is not even monetized , it's a free game ... Now it does have a ad for a paid game which is a "backroom Humpty Dumpty" type horror game so eh 💀 . It's not so bad to me , it also kinda feels like a mobile game ad tho , with the "before you leave look at this" but less troublesome than actual mobile ads technically lol ^^" .
Faris: "Yeah I was feeling sad, I wanted to make this passion project to help me vent and maybe help spread awareness and paint a picture of this serious topic." Also Faris: Adds the most incredibly inappropriate and unfunny stuff you could to a game that's suppose to be SERIOUS.
Great video. Faris while is seen as a greedy just like his brother in a bad spotlight, he was entirely a different person back then. He seems genuinely cared and loved making game, although tired of no income or way to profit it off, they urgently choose this only option, mascot horror. Guess things can changed by each passing year. Maybe who knows, he could gone some bad crap back then and this is the only way he coped from it. Nice video, a good length of 20 minutes video and entertaining.
@@HelloHelloe mate at this point, the company that you mentioned still suck big balls today. Sometimes Valve doesn't give a shit to their fans. Nintendo try to make those juicy quick money by overpricing everything and then game ROMs. There, both indie games and bigger company get a criticism equally. And thank you for sharing your thoughts, I'll take your words and try to give a more proper criticism as I, have little experience on this.
@@HelloHelloe Indie Developer or huge company doesn't change the fact that you can criticize them anyways. The media (Introvert) was likely well intentioned but ended up coming across absolutely awful and disrespectful to a major topic. Faris took a chance on it clearly, but sometimes that doesn't pan out well. (Notice how most media strays away from heavy topics such as that because of how controversial it can be when approaching it) Whilst BanBan is being criticized for being an obvious cashgrab at a child-oriented genre (Mascot Horror), and thats just how it goes. Everyone knows that the bigger companies are going to be awful and try to make as much money as they can, no ones arguing against that. The point that came across to me with this video and the original comment was, these were games made when they had good intentions and had a passion for what they were creating and it being disappointing that they've fallen into this low-passion child-oriented game.
This is sad, not just because the game is disrespectful, but because you can see that the brothers, or at least Faris had a chance to make good games. It's really disappointing to see them fall from what little grace they had. Introvert is a bad, disrespectful, unfunny game, but at least it was made with passion. It had a purpose. But they fell into the cash grab side of things, and it's sad to see. The only good part of Introvert is that message from Faris. It seems genuine, and it seems that he did want to talk and help. It's sad to see Faris, someone who had a chance to make good games, and was trying to be helpful but failed with Introvert, fall with his brother into cash grab and making more Banban games.
The "going left" segment at the end is genuinely a great touch. The visual is nice, and so is the message. Despite the glaring flaws of this game and how it portrays its message, this segment feels like it was made by a real person, someone who understands the hardships of life. Beautiful stuff. I love that.
exactly this. it sucks that this game was so horribly insensitive and just outright making a mockery out of a subject as serious as school shootings, regardless of the intentions of the dev. but the addition of the segment “going left” was so genuine and nice to see and was comforting as someone who’s struggles a lot with mental health. i wish more game devs added things like that to serious, but actually GOOD games that aren’t whatever the hell this game was. it makes me sad because the dev was obviously in a very bad place and was trying to use humor to cope but it came out being expressed in the totally wrong way.
The Love Interest/werewolf arc is my favorite part of this otherwise terrible, unfunny, and insensitive experience. Especially before the shooting part. It honestly should've been it's own game. Faris could've made a bunch of the unnecessary goofiness into separate games, such as the "chase the hallway man" scene.
Me and my friend played this game cause we were bored one day and played up until the werewolf love arc (best part of the game lol)and then got stuck chasing the hallway man so we never saw the ending
I am so pissed at how good this could have been. The visuals of the game are facinating, even if some of the glitch effects are hard on the eyes, the pixel art is smooth even if character designs are simple. The animation and music choice is lovely. If you break this down into components and only saw the visuals; Smooth pixel art with a little bit of an esoteric/I can't think of the word right now, but the sort of horror artstyle of the way the houses are? Visually, this game is wonderful And I am so pissed the visuals are wasted on this. I am of the belief that even when handling serious topics, humor can be included to some extent. But not to loudly have someone yell 'my ass itches'. Like, the teacher going 'blah blah blah' when you first meet Chris is subtle but funny! Making the player mute can also be interesting if the game gave you opportunities to try and communicate. Is your player mute because of a disability or because of trauma? Why do they not even try to communicate in sign language? Hell having a mute character in a school setting would be an awesome way to incorporate passing notes in class as a way to communicate and would make so much more sense that the teacher gets upset with you. Even some of the attempts at humor, such as the nonsense sounds the teacher makes when saying what the class project is? I can even explain that as the character tuning the teacher out. That's... distasteful sure, but it could be worse! Hell i have 0 issue with weird things like the corpse at the beginning just being there. Sometimes shit happens and thats fine. Whatever, it's a game it doesn't have to be 100% real all the time. But I am so so so upset that this talent was wasted not talking to someone about actual writing, about handling this topic with tact. About not having a chance to win despite it promising you that. And you don't even have to win every time. But don't pretend like we have a choice. Take your emotions and make them into art. The best kind of art comes from emotions.... but for the sake of you and your audience and for your mental health... never take personal games like this... and make it seem like there's no good to come out of it... The Beginners Guide comes to mind, a game made from emotion that doesn't have a happy ending.... but it has a hopeful one. It's only self destructive to take your emotions and frame them as hopeless. Anyway... good content, came here from the crooked man video, binging your whole channel now. I like your content and your voice is lovely to listen to. I hope you stick around a while.
I mean, look at a game like Disco Elysium. It covers some pretty heavy topics, particularly things drug addiction. It's also a game that utilizes a lot of humor - the literal first playable scene in the game, you can die to a tie on a ceiling fan, and just shortly after that you can make your character run away from the bartender telling him to pay his bills, and your character will flip off the bartender and likely almost crash into an elderly woman. The important thing with humor when discussing dark subject matter is how it's being used. Obviously, it can work by helping to provide commentary on the subject, but it can also be a good way to break tension. It's incredibly easy to get fatigued by a story that only shows bad things happening, so humor can provide a way to not only entertain the player but also to give them a break from the more miserable parts of the story, like a safe room in a horror game that gives you a break from whatever horrific monsters are out there. There's also intentional juxtaposition, although in those situations you usually introduce the lighthearted, funny moments first, so when the underlying story is revealed it's more shocking. Think of the scene in Mulan where the guys are all cheerfully singing about girls or whatever, only for it to be cut short by the shot of the ransacked village. That moment has a lot more emotional weight because it comes immediately after a very happy scene. You were lead into a false sense of security only for it to be suddenly ripped away, leaving you with just as much shock and horror as the character's feel. TLDR, humor can absolutely be used when discussing dark subject matter. It can provide commentary, help to keep player's engaged and prevent mental fatigue, control pacing, or to give more impact to a following serious scene. Introvert does not do this - the humor is just there because "lol random" and because other media used dark humor without actually understanding why the decision to include humor was made.
@@lazuliartz1296 "Because other media used dark humor without actually understanding why the decision to include humor was made." , this sentence could work for a lot of things , a good statement of the problem of this game ... I also want to say that I have never realised myself why dark humor works well if done right , but now that you mentioned it , it makes so much sense x) . Especially the part with the mental fatigue , I could compare it to the "puzzle" fatigue I got once when I played too much puzzle games in one sitting (it was Rusty Lake games btw if anyone wonders ^^") , my brain needed a break like how you need a break from the very dark themes of a game too !
How do you only have 1 subscriber? Your commentary, editing, and your explanations to all of this was so thought out and detailed, and spreads awareness of this whole situation perfectly.
When I first heard about this game, I wasn't sure if I should judge it harshly as I hadn't seen the game play. I considered maybe it was just a mentally ill near adult trying to cope with his mental health in a poor way. Now not only seeing the game but your in depth video it makes me feel sad as I think at one point he really did care and have a passion for making games but clearly he just fell down a hole of greed, it's a true shame. This was a wonderfully made video with stunning editing thank you for this I hope you continue to create videos in the future 😊
The fact that I actually laughed at the “my ass itches” segment means either my sense of humor is terribly broken or I need to take a break from my stresses for the sake of my mental health. Could be both
this is the only video i could find covering this, and im very grateful for not only this, but also to get your channel recommended! your editing, scripting and pace is incredibly done, and i really want you to grew as a content creator for how much effort this has!! thank you for clarifying this game! its not good, not in the slightest, but it really shows how much Faris (and also Guepo) changed as a person after the attempts of doing hit games, and then succeeding with GoB. doing games are not easy, this is common sense, everything who has passion and thought behind it is hard to make. but doing something this risky requires attention and seriousness, which it didnt have... they wont learn from this as in recent events, but we still hope for the best
in my opinion that emma dies in all the endings frustrates me because 1 she is the only character that is really interesting in this game and you get to like her 2 considering that she used her wolf form to save us from bullies it is very likely that she would have used this form to try to stop the shooting only to be unfairly killed in all endings
Here in Brazil, we are having a lot of recent problems about threats of School Shootings, it is freaking everyone out at the public schools and seeing a game treat it like THIS, hurts me.
I find this game quite troublesome. Besides the fact that take an heavy subject and treats it in such poor taste. As an introvert it's quite weird that the dev thinks that introverts as shooters, fedora tippers types, the weird kids. We are normal people who just don't like to be around too many people and who like to be on our own more.
@@lloydmartel I mean, if we look at statistics then shooters are most commonly the fairly popular but not noteworthy white kids who have a violent streak. They're not bullied, and their classmates and teachers generally express confusion over their actions.
That last part is so peaceful, it's almost painful knowing the game it takes place in and how he seemingly stopped making passion projects in favor of money
10:43 this is the part where I started screaming internally (in the worst way possible), I like dark humour myself but fetishizing a disability is crossing the line.
Oof, sorry that the algorithm didn’t treat ya well.. you seem so down-to-earth and I’m genuinely surprised you don’t have many subscribers. Plus the video seems really well put together!! Just keep doing what you do, my guy
am glad it seems like it's starting to change, he has a lot more subs now and this video showed up in my recommended even when i don't watch stuff like this, so i assume it's starting to hit the algorithm well
The game isn't good but the "going left" section genuinely touched me, not in a bad way though. The lofi and reading "you’ve been strong for too long, it's time to let everything go, I'm here for you" just causes me to break into tears every time, it might be a personal thing though
"It's a small universe I created to make my zone-out thoughts and stories a reality." If it had just been that, I think it would've been neat. The surreal things, like the hallman, and the teacher being some abomination that asks you to shoot him, I kinda like those parts. I think a big mistake was labelling it a "teenager simulator". It's got an identity crisis going on. Maybe there should've been two games, or two modes in the same game. One with the real stuff, and one with the bizarre stuff. Also... it kinda makes sense to me that befriending Chris didn't work? He was already troubled. Being a friend under duress isn't going to fix him.
honestly, i feel like the game would be much better without all of the 2017 humor within it. if you're going to make a game about school shootings, you should actually make an effort to potray the absolute fear and bloodshed that happens during these attacks - not "haha funni t-pose random xd!!!"
The worst part, the “my ass itches part” genuinely made me laugh in spite of myself, Faris might actually be able to make a good comedy focused game. If the abstract humor and dark subject matter were separated into different unrelated games, they would probably work, but instead both concepts are shoehorned into each other which just makes everything jarring and awkward
The turtle was a weirdly interesting detail for me, considering that at my high school, we had a tortoise who was owned by one of the science teachers and he would wander around, kids would always be bringing him back to the teacher's room. Really had me wondering if it was someone who went to my HS

Oh man, glad to find a video explaining the whole ordeal with this game. Wishing you nothing but success with this channel!
This feels less like someone trying to make a serious game and more like watching a person's mind visibly and audibly experience psychological horror and horrific mental anguish while they try to wrangle with all the shit going on in their mind and honestly checks out that way from his description. At 14:48 I really do feel like this is just a part of him at the time of making this wanting to release a lot of painful thoughts. I could say a lot about how it's definitely caused by how going through school while around the age of 19 is emotionally taxing and stressful as shit and talk a lot about how I feel like mental health is criminally neglected by society, but for now I'll keep it at this.
This is actually a very interesting-looking peek into Faris' psyche at the time of making this game. It's obvious that, while his efforts were misplaced, he was just trying to make a game to comfort people in a dark mental state like himself, by making a game that he thought would help comfort HIM. Don't get me wrong, he did it awfully, but I can see why that is. It kind of reminds me of Sonichu in a way, similar to how it was a testament to Chris Chan's own constant power trip.
Well, he listed the most important feature of the game at the very least. (A turtle in the school.) Also, I try not to speak on serious subjects unless I've experienced them myself, but a guy called "Mr. Fracking Shit" coming into your class to repeatedly say "my ass itches" is just wrong when the premise of your game is about a school shooting. Also also, I could not type "Mr. Fracking Shit" or "my ass itches" with a straight face at any point while writing this comment.
"Because you're mute, you can't express anything." Ah yes, I forgot that anyone who experiences any type of mutism can't write or sign and also look like Frisk from Undertale. I hate seeing disabilities portrayed like this. They're disabling, but we have ways to make them less so…
I think the idea that the school shooting couldn't actually be stopped could have worked, but obviously it wasn't handled correctly. None of this was. If this concept was handled better, it could be about... ok see this is really complicated and nuanced. *Not* that some people are inherently evil, your actions don't matter, or anything awful like that. But that sometimes you can't do anything, sometimes you can't fix someone. Sometimes it's not your responsibility, or your fault. Sometimes it was already too late, sometimes the help they need isn't something you could provide. And maybe you made an impact, but it just wasn't enough. But your efforts still mean something, your kindness still means something. Just remember kindness to yourself, too Although I think this lesson would be better told not by a school shooting story, but by a story about abuse. Because that's what I'm really thinking about. That's how I learned this lesson, multiple times over. Because I've tried to fix my abusers so many times and I know how that goes. It doesn't go well. That being said, I've met people who've done messed up things in the past, and have genuinely grown past it, too. And that's why it's important to balance giving people a chance and keeping yourself safe
There were so many "WHAT THE F#@K" moments that happened as I watched what you showcased from the game. I cannot believe this was even an idea to begin with. Not only was this game utterly nonsensical, but extremely insensitive to almost the point of mockery. EB should no longer be making games if they are constantly putting out works of trash, whether they have deeper meanings to them or not.
People can do whatever they want as long as it's legal and sometimes even if it's not, regardless of anyone's opinion on their craft. The best you can do with any harmful media is not to proliferate it, but that doesn't justify acting like thought police. Let things exist and move on with your day.
@@genyakozlov1316 of course people can do whatever they want, what this person is saying is that this shit-show of a development group shouldnt be mindlessly be putting out horrible garbage and still getting recognition and profit. there is literally no reason why you should be taking the "devils advocate"(?) side of this and go "well technically they can do what they want 🤓🤓🤓" yeah duh! people can still "do whatever they want" and say that this abysmal game shouldnt exist and that EB should stop making horrible games, there should be literally no argument for this. im really not sure why your comment grinded my gears to this point but it did
@LOVE-gg2wz But nobody said "legally they shouldn't be able to make games." The statement was essentially, "They've done some fucked up shit, and it'd be better if they stopped making games." I dunno why some of you are trying to play some crazy neutral angle on this.
I think we should ridicule and police any shit like this game. Unfunny in the worst way and totally misleading. We shouldn't outright ban making these kinds of games. We should shower the author in the "Golden rain", per se. Pour buckets of liquid "brown and sticky", you could even say.
Honestly, your Audio and commentary sound so professional and calming, I really love your voice. I was really surprised when I saw that you're so underrated.
"I'm beginning to think my count may have been off." *Chris draws a gun* "My count was off." This single moment of the video was funnier than anything in the game.
You seem like such a thoughtful and deep person. Honestly, a game like this seems more like a waste of your personal talents. You're quite good at editing and structuring your commentary and putting your thoughts out in a critical, but still respectful and positive way. Also, I'm not insulting the game. It's obvious the intentions were good. It simply wasn't handled in the right way. Hell, even then, a game probably isn't the best medium for subjects like this. But I respect his attempt, as bad or insensitive as it may have come off. (Also I subscribed, I need more thought-provoking commentary in my life and you definitely deserve more than what you have with this kind of effort)
Personally, I took the friend ending to mean that the narrative of "Well, the shooter wouldn't have done it if he had a friend!" is false. That blaming the classmates is not the answer. The problem that needs to be solved isn't forcing friends on people, or those weird assembly group things where they force us to 'make friends'. It's mental health. It's access to guns. It's making sure the individual gets the help they need, NONE of which is the responsibility of their classmates. You cannot blame the classmates for not "being nice" to the shooter. You cannot blame the victims who had done nothing to deserve this. Maybe I'm looking too deeply, or having more hope for the games message than I should be. But that was what I got from the ending presented.
I hate how the game looks genuinely really good and even somewhat high effort, especially for just a university student. Sucks that BanBan is what he led onto make.
I saw you by chance, and the quality of this video is amazing in terms of presentation and pacing that matches channels with a huge audience Hope you get more subscribers :)
As stupid as it is I actually really liked the werewolf thing, in any other game it could be an interesting metaphor. She’s isolated by people thinking she weird/monstrous in someway but also on display via the bullies and the school shooter kid in different ways with violence and distant fixation respectively. The wolf transformation being her embracing that perception of herself for her own advantage for a short time.
Sir your word choice and maturity makes it feel weird to know that you're a 19-yo and the same age as me, you give out a lot of meaningful insights in a really well structured manner. I'm so glad youtube just decided to recommend this to me today
I think it might be an issue of framing. A little bit back this year a kid at my school ceased their own life (didn't know the fella, nothing I could've done). I could make some raw, brutal art on my thoughts about the seemingly ubiquitous teenager desire to not live, and how repulsive it is that the news felt so expected, effectively normal to hear. Or I could try and make something more composed, something that touches on my feelings but ultimately has a message and themes and some sort of resolution or advice. I think this is an scenario of making some wacky, brutal raw art in a dark place and it failing to meet a standard it probably shouldn't be held to. Also note: it's fine to have humor in a game that deals with terrible stuff. Whether it's to help you get through it or to make it even more impactful, you can do that. The actual terrible tragedies should utterly shatter any comedic tones, but you can have art that deals with heavy stuff, while also having humor in it and I personally find adding some lighter elements to be a great move. Got to have some contrast at least.
Somebody on TheBadd3st's review of this game commented this, but even shows like South Park, where pretty much nothing is safe from being made fun of or mocked, handled the topic of school shootings with more respect than this game did.
Fair warning, this is going to be a long comment. This somewhat reminds me of the game someone made called “V-Tech rampage” where you play as the shooter, Seung-Hui Cho, and have to go around killing people. Obviously this is a little different as it seems that this game is genuinely trying to come from a good place (even though it absolutely missed the mark with that) while rampage was just mocking a horrible tragedy made by a completely indifferent developer (he defends it by saying it’s free speech). I go to Virginia Tech where one of the biggest mass shooting occured on April 16, 2007 and what “V-tech rampage” was “inspired” by and practically recreated. The Remembrance Day for the 32 people lost is actually today as I’m writing this. It has greatly affected the school and it’s community. I know people who have been directly affected by the shooting despite it being 16 years after it happened. Those people lost their siblings and friends. The entire community comes together to remember those precious lives lost that day. There’s a candlelight vigil, a wreath laying at the memorial with a moment of silence and a 5k (3.2 for the 32) with 32 seconds of silence before it. Normally with moments of silence there will be some people whispering (at least in my experiences) however once those signs went up and people said shh, you could hear a pin drop. If that doesn’t go to show how much this affects people and how serious of a topic it is, I don’t know what will. If you can’t really grasp the concept of how many victims and precious lives died that day, here are the names of all the victims which really makes you realize how many 32 lives actually is: Nicole White, Maxine Turner, Leslie Sherman, Waleed Mohamed Shaalan, Reema Samaha, Mary Karen Read, Julia Pryde, Michael Pohle Jr., Erin Nichole Peterson, Daniel Perez Cueva, Minal Panchal, Juan Ortiz, Daniel O'Neil, Lauren McCain, Partahi Lumbantoruan, G. V. Loganathan, Liviu Librescu, Henry Lee, Matthew La Porte, Jarrett Lane, Emily Hilscher, Rachael Elizabeth Hill, Jeremy Herbstritt, Caitlin Hammaren, Matthew Gwaltney, Kevin Granata, Jocelyne Couture-Nowak, and Austin Cloyd. These people were professors, students, parents, and friends to others and their lives were wrongly taken from them. One of them, Liviu Librescu, was a professor who was also a holocaust survivor (the shooting happened on the same day as the holocaust remembrance but was not specifically a hate crime as the shooter targeted anyone and everyone). If you are going to make a game about a school shooting, you have to be sensitive as this is an incredibly real topic that is traumatic and changes people’s lives. I don’t know if “V-Tech rampage” is still up but I remember the creator also saying he’ll take it down if people pay enough for him to. I’m pretty sure he at least didn’t get any money. Sorry again, I know this is a long comment but as someone who not only has younger siblings in elementary-highschool who worries about them but also as someone who goes to VT where the massive shooting happened, this is a serious topic that I’m personally very passionate about. Just please, if you are really thinking about making a game about school shootings be sensitive. These are real people’s lives; there are parents, siblings, friends who have lost someone that they will never get back all because of a horrible monster of a person with a gun and no regard for human lives. This a great video that handles this topic well and the severity of it. Thank you and keep making great videos like this :)
Thank you for putting yourself out there with this really thoughtful and insightful comment. I know you must have put a lot of time into it and it probably took even more restraint to not just say, "f that dev all to hell" and leave it at that. I hope it doesn't come off as being patronizing when I say to please keep that passion, kiddo. The world at large will try its damnedest to stamp it out of ya but it's such a refreshing thing to come across! Good luck with your studies!
Holy crap That game's art style was immediately familiar to me and it turns out it was from this channel called “Midnight Duck” which I used to watch, it basically just animated two sentence horror stories, Pretty crazy.
The chase scene in the hallways where you get lost was a really cool idea and better than anything in banban but why the hell did he put that in the game? he put more effort into the weird chases and creepy stuff and spent a few minutes on the dialogue. But hey! that's probably more effort than what he put into banban!
A little late here. When I learned Banban was by Euphoric Brothers I'd been hoping someone would cover their other games as they're very interesting, though I've only played one and not this one, which I avoided due to...well. Haven't watched yet so I'm interested to see how it goes. Edit: Oh my god
reminds me of that one indie game, kindergarten. it’s doing the whole multiple endings thing along with random humor but it’s actually trying to actually spread awareness on serious stuff and just fumbles. i like the idea of having every ending being the bad ending while saying that there’s a good ending (honestly that would be a really good twist in a horror game) but using a topic like school shootings for it really just shows how bad the whole serious part is.
What did kindergarten ever try to bring awareness too lmfaooo? I've never seen anything on the second one but I remember very well the first and I don't remember there being any deep awareness it was trying to bring. It all just seemed like character gags
aside from the glaring main problem here, I'm just appalled and frankly disgusted by the constant sheer ableism displayed here. I was born with a disability and although it isn't related to the D/HoH/Mute/NV community, my disability has brought me into a lot of spaces for disabled people where I've met others who were mute or nonverbal. This is so insulting on so many levels. The constant and repeated lack of agency for the PC, the constant verbal humiliation and slurs, the constant ignoring of the very real and very diverse ways people can communicate without speaking... this is just gross, on so many level. I'm unfortunately very aware of how deeply ingrained into society ableism is and I suffer from it every day, but this is just unbelievable. This is one of the reasons I'm a consultant for disability representation and accessibility features/options for game studios and devs. This is a very real example of what happens when no one with a disability was consulted in the making of a story with a disabled character in it. Appalling.
I am also a 19 yo game dev. I study game developing in uni. the thing with this game is that i noticed how similar the humour is with some of my own classmates. It's the "I'm not required to be mature enough for my age" mentality many of these people have because they've been spoiled all their life. They will eventually learn that some topics have a certain approach you need to follow, or else you will fail in your career. These people really need a wake up call (like this video) to realise that the world doesn't share the same humor as them.
I know basically nothing about Ganban or the Euphoric Brothers or whatever, but I was a bit intrigued by the title and thumbnail, and gotta say, you have a very wonderful and relaxing presentation style that's very refreshing to see and hear.
I think what'd be really interested if in the game, nothing you did worked. Like at all. Because that's often how it goes in real life. Just take a look at the Parkland shooting. People went out of their way to be nice to guy because they knew he was unstable. They also reported him to authorities multiple times. But it still happen.
I remember my friend once said that his entire class including the teacher thought that he had bring a gun to class on an exposition day, he brought a old grinder machine or something. They all thought that just cause he was shy
As an introvert when I was a teenager I too totally committed school shootings when I didn't make friends and not just stayed at home playing video games because I was afraid of talking to new people.
I thought I recognized the voice of Ben (the bully) the second I heard it, but I wasn't expecting to ACTUALLY be right when I looked up the cast. The two of us were recurring scene partners in a decently popular audio drama. I don't even know what to DO with this information, you've indirectly cursed me with knowledge. I feel kinda awful on their behalf, that their name is tied to something so disrespectful in the many ways that it is (I'm disabled myself so the way that's treated in the game was a huge yikes to see). They've probably forgotten about it by now, and I know they were just on that grind and hopefully getting that bread too, but mannnn I just *really* wish this game was something one could be proud of having been involved with.
i haven't seen anyone mention this, but I actually kind of dig the extremely loud voices and sounds during the school sections, especially because they're only present during the school, i feel like it's intended to convey sensory overload? I don't really understand... why... but conceptually I don't have an issue with it
on the one hand, faris was young, and probably struggling with mental illness and other issues. those two factors can really warp your perception of the world, of serious topics, etc. but then, on the other hand... i'm young (17). i'm mentally ill. i would have the sense not to do something like this. additionally, with no intention to defend the game, i _do_ understand why he made it. some people have pointed out it was likely a cry for help, and honestly i've done similar shit before, but the stuff i was doing was writing vague poetry and showing my friends to try and communicate something i was too afraid to say outright. what faris did was make a game that poorly handled its subject matter, and while artistically inspired it was grossly offensive. i understand why, but he should've known better. i don't think people would be quite as mad if he could demonstrate he's matured in the past couple of years, but his and guepo's twitter account is really doing them no favours. i do hope they both eventually learn from all of this, because this game (while not good) shows a lot of potential for what they could make in the future, if only they'd put in the effort.
I'm sorry I'm not as knowledgeable when it comes to these topic of shooters, but I found the game quite funny. If you take away all the seriousness the game description brought and try to see it as a "satire" game, most of the parts where it supposedly "takes away the seriousness of the topic" actually made me chuckle. Also, as someone said in another comment, people who aren't from the States (including me and the developer) have a little of a tougher time grasping the concept of a shooter as a whole.
This, despite how flawed it is, kind of made me smile. I sort of feel like people who take these topics too seriously come off as heavy handed, and maybe that's what Faris thought too. Is it disrespectful? Yeah. Is it sending the wrong message? I think so. But it does feel like it was made by a real person who was really going through some shit. It seemed like he just wanted to make a game that made people feel a little better about the world that find themselves in. Terrible things happen, but we can still laugh, and we can still tell each other "it's gonna be ok". Of course it doesn't make us feel better when we look at where they are now, but it does give you a look into the mind of a kid who is terrified of himself and of the world he's facing. 19 is a very vulnerable age to be at, and I personally just saw this as a way to let off steam. Tbh, I just don't think people should be too worried about this. Depressed young people think dark thoughts. Those thoughts aren't always gonna line up with what's considered respectful.
Stuff like this game give introverts a very bad view like were all just scary individuals just cause were more withdrawn and reserved. Even the most extroverted and social butterfly can be the scary ones. I don't find that very funny to make a game about-
Goddamn this game depicts ableism really weirdly. First we get the fetishizing of the disability, then we get Emma treating the protag as if he's incapable of communication/emotional expression at all...? Just rubs me the wrong way to begin with. The messages and execution were already bad enough, but by slapping that in there and not really doing anything with it, I'm really unsure if there was some kinda message supposed to be said there, or if the dev genuinely believes some of these things/just wanted an excuse to get around plot points like saying anything when mute people definitely have methods of communication? It just doesn't make any sense to me at all.
The worst part about this is the fact the the visuals and aesthetics of this game are actually pretty good. I feel like this could have become a cult classic if Faris covered the topic in a better way.
Honestly this game reads off as someone who wants to talk about heavy subjects but is so uncomfortable they add humor to soften the blow. Id talked to people like that. People who have a lot going on upstairs and dont know how to talk about it so they make self depreciating jokes. Or people who have a hard time comforting people so they make jokes. It feels like the creator had good intentions but didnt know how to go about it so they cracked a joke. The issue is, just like anxiety laughing at a funeral, unless people can read your mind it comes off disrespectful and leaves people with a bad taste in their mouths
My initial thoughts went from: “Ok, this game could be kinda icky, but I’ll keep an open mind!” to, “Wow…half of this game doesn’t make any sense, let alone it’s poor handling of such a heavy topic!” To, “Uhh….what is this even meant to be!?” But, after seeing that “secret” at the end, with the message from the dev, I can’t help but feel sorry for Faris. That doesn’t excuse the ickyness of the game, but I think I can understand how Faris might’ve been feeling! I’m sad he felt that he had to go into the mascot horror sub genre and possibly abandon his passion projects just because he had to make money! Regardless of what anyone thinks of Garten of Ban Ban, or mascot horror as a whole, I hope Faris and the euphoric brothers can eventually find their voice, and whatever happens with them in the future, I wish them nothing but the best!💖💖💖
I feel like if this game perhaps was about depression instead of a tragic violent event it would feel like a respectable piece of media, I mean this had so much potential but tried so hard to be funne XD!
Also, as other comments pointed out, there are other ideas in this game that would work if they were in completely separate games. Like a game about a high school romance where the girl that the protagonist is dating turns out to be a werewolf, or a game where a normal kid is in a high school full of weirdos.
Unfortunately because of the goofy side plot shenanigans it doesn’t work that way 💀
Snoot Game did this a lot better
Fr and it's so common to find this in fanfics too
mute people aren't real xx 😘
Fr, it feels so obvious
Yeah people either get pissed you can't talk or put words in your silence and fall in love with it 🙃
The game is directed at tiktok kids what did you expect, they fetishize neuro divergency for breakfast, OMG SO QUIRKY
disabled person try not to shoot up the school challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
People who fetishized depression be like “I love the aesthetic of being sad and alone🥰.”
And I’m over here like, “Um…no? YOU DO NOT WANT DEPRESSION? WANTING TO KILL YOURSELF IS NOT FUN???
One of my guy friends slipped that he finds mute girls really hot... had to distance after that.
@@DustD.Reaper Well I hope such person(s) are there to stop Faris from going off the deep end...
"Don't fetishize my disability!"
My favorite line.
I would willingly play this game if it was about a kid who was going to drop the moon.

I just have to say:
As someone who has psychogenic mutism (I can't speak in public, but can talk in circumstances where I feel comfortable), it's almost comical how the game implies that being unable to speak means you have literally NO other means of communication.

To the two above me...trust me, it isn't worth trying
I've seen a few comments from this guy, and it seems like they're only here to stir drama
Nah, that flying scene was so goofy I could never not laugh at it 😭.
@@spaghetto9836Its the best thing this game had. X,D
Me and my friend played this game cause we were bored one day and played up until the werewolf love arc (best part of the game lol)and then got stuck chasing the hallway man so we never saw the ending
It would have fit way better in a game that isn’t about School Shootings.
Visually, this game is wonderful
And I am so pissed the visuals are wasted on this.

Your kind words mean the word to me, thank you so much :)
The fact that I actually laughed at the “my ass itches” segment means either my sense of humor is terribly broken or I need to take a break from my stresses for the sake of my mental health. Could be both
It's okay, I kind of laughed at the long long pizza order and then the "no"
Yeah, it's actually kind of funny if it was belong to a different game. Not in a serious game.
It’s actually kind of funny. The issue here is that it’s in a game where this would be tonal whiplash.
ngl i giggled at the random image in the newspaper segment at the end
I was only laughing because the sound was so loud, that it was literally coming out of his headphones
this is the only video i could find covering this, and im very grateful for not only this, but also to get your channel recommended! your editing, scripting and pace is incredibly done, and i really want you to grew as a content creator for how much effort this has!!
thank you for clarifying this game! its not good, not in the slightest, but it really shows how much Faris (and also Guepo) changed as a person after the attempts of doing hit games, and then succeeding with GoB. doing games are not easy, this is common sense, everything who has passion and thought behind it is hard to make. but doing something this risky requires attention and seriousness, which it didnt have... they wont learn from this as in recent events, but we still hope for the best
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
I hate that this had a chance to be a beautiful game but in the end it was just sad to see…
I don’t know why but knowing that Emma is killed in every ending just makes me really angry
in my opinion that emma dies in all the endings frustrates me because
1 she is the only character that is really interesting in this game and you get to like her
2 considering that she used her wolf form to save us from bullies it is very likely that she would have used this form to try to stop the shooting only to be unfairly killed in all endings
Speak for yourself
With all the abstract humor I think that may have been intentional to some degree
Then who are the shooters, fedora tippers, and weird kids? Are they not introverts as well?
@@lloydmartel I mean, if we look at statistics then shooters are most commonly the fairly popular but not noteworthy white kids who have a violent streak. They're not bullied, and their classmates and teachers generally express confusion over their actions.
@@lloydmartel are all squares rectangles just because all rectangles are squares?
I would have been so fucking down for Werewolf Girlfriend The Game, why isn't that it's own thing
That last part is so peaceful, it's almost painful knowing the game it takes place in and how he seemingly stopped making passion projects in favor of money
10:43 this is the part where I started screaming internally (in the worst way possible), I like dark humour myself but fetishizing a disability is crossing the line.
This feels like a game that a 13-year-old would make after watching a leafyishere video about making fun of autistic kids

The youtube algorithm is starting to love smaller creators, thank god we get to see all this great content from underrated creators
"It's a small universe I created to make my zone-out thoughts and stories a reality."
If it had just been that, I think it would've been neat.
So basically a fever dream of somebody deciding to make a game based off of their intrusive thoughts?
The turtle was a weirdly interesting detail for me, considering that at my high school, we had a tortoise who was owned by one of the science teachers and he would wander around, kids would always be bringing him back to the teacher's room.
Really had me wondering if it was someone who went to my HS
Oh man, glad to find a video explaining the whole ordeal with this game. Wishing you nothing but success with this channel!
Thank you :)
@@ben_again so glad to see your channel doing well!
(A turtle in the school.)
Also, I try not to speak on serious subjects unless I've experienced them myself, but a guy called "Mr. Fracking Shit" coming into your class to repeatedly say "my ass itches" is just wrong when the premise of your game is about a school shooting. Also also, I could not type "Mr. Fracking Shit" or "my ass itches" with a straight face at any point while writing this comment.
"Because you're mute, you can't express anything."
Ah yes, I forgot that anyone who experiences any type of mutism can't write or sign and also look like Frisk from Undertale.
Just remember kindness to yourself, too
Although I think this lesson would be better told not by a school shooting story, but by a story about abuse.
@@genyakozlov1316 of course people can do whatever they want, what this person is saying is that this shit-show of a development group shouldnt be mindlessly be putting out horrible garbage and still getting recognition and profit. there is literally no reason why you should be taking the "devils advocate"(?) side of this and go "well technically they can do what they want 🤓🤓🤓" yeah duh! people can still "do whatever they want" and say that this abysmal game shouldnt exist and that EB should stop making horrible games, there should be literally no argument for this. im really not sure why your comment grinded my gears to this point but it did
@@genyakozlov1316 Hello??? Are we looking at the same game developers??? Also going on some 'freedom of speech' shit LMAO
@LOVE-gg2wz But nobody said "legally they shouldn't be able to make games." The statement was essentially, "They've done some fucked up shit, and it'd be better if they stopped making games."
I dunno why some of you are trying to play some crazy neutral angle on this.
"I'm beginning to think my count may have been off."
*Chris draws a gun*
"My count was off."
This single moment of the video was funnier than anything in the game.
15:49 the fact that the game just keeps going after this is possibly the most astonishing thing of all to me
You seem like such a thoughtful and deep person.
But that was what I got from the ending presented.
thanks for playing this - honestly was curious to what it genuinely was like. now i see its even worse than i thought lmao
fire vid, very underrated
I hate how the game looks genuinely really good and even somewhat high effort, especially for just a university student. Sucks that BanBan is what he led onto make.

This is your first video?! Holly crap this is amazing! Also someone named Dominic unmber made a video on how to get all of the fedoras.

That game's art style was immediately familiar to me and it turns out it was from this channel called “Midnight Duck” which I used to watch, it basically just animated two sentence horror stories, Pretty crazy.

Ghepo MC, if any of you are wondering once again.
The chase scene in the hallways where you get lost was a really cool idea and better than anything in banban but why the hell did he put that in the game? he put more effort into the weird chases and creepy stuff and spent a few minutes on the dialogue. But hey! that's probably more effort than what he put into banban!

reminds me of that one indie game, kindergarten. it’s doing the whole multiple endings thing along with random humor but it’s actually trying to actually spread awareness on serious stuff and just fumbles. i like the idea of having every ending being the bad ending while saying that there’s a good ending (honestly that would be a really good twist in a horror game) but using a topic like school shootings for it really just shows how bad the whole serious part is.

I’m all in for funny offensive shit. I absolutely love that stuff
Though you don’t do stuff that’s CURRENTLY HAPPENING where children are dying
And even then, your still walking a fine line between what counts as a joke.
I remember my friend once said that his entire class including the teacher thought that he had bring a gun to class on an exposition day, he brought a old grinder machine or something. They all thought that just cause he was shy
Really?
As an introvert when I was a teenager I too totally committed school shootings when I didn't make friends and not just stayed at home playing video games because I was afraid of talking to new people.
I think that "weird picture" in the ending is a heavily edited Jerma985
@kctoons_ LMAO I LEGIT POSTED ABOUT THIS DISCOVERY IN THE VIDEO GAMES CHANNEL
i haven't seen anyone mention this, but I actually kind of dig the extremely loud voices and sounds during the school sections, especially because they're only present during the school, i feel like it's intended to convey sensory overload? I don't really understand... why... but conceptually I don't have an issue with it
Yeah I followed your train of thought through the entire video. Loved your avatar’s (._.) expression!
on the one hand, faris was young, and probably struggling with mental illness and other issues. those two factors can really warp your perception of the world, of serious topics, etc. but then, on the other hand... i'm young (17). i'm mentally ill. i would have the sense not to do something like this.
additionally, with no intention to defend the game, i _do_ understand why he made it. some people have pointed out it was likely a cry for help, and honestly i've done similar shit before, but the stuff i was doing was writing vague poetry and showing my friends to try and communicate something i was too afraid to say outright. what faris did was make a game that poorly handled its subject matter, and while artistically inspired it was grossly offensive. i understand why, but he should've known better.
i don't think people would be quite as mad if he could demonstrate he's matured in the past couple of years, but his and guepo's twitter account is really doing them no favours. i do hope they both eventually learn from all of this, because this game (while not good) shows a lot of potential for what they could make in the future, if only they'd put in the effort.
It just doesn't make any sense to me at all.
this game feels like a knock knock joke that ends with everyone in a car crash
My initial thoughts went from:
“Ok, this game could be kinda icky, but I’ll keep an open mind!”
to,
“Wow…half of this game doesn’t make any sense, let alone it’s poor handling of such a heavy topic!”
To,
“Uhh….what is this even meant to be!?”
But, after seeing that “secret” at the end, with the message from the dev, I can’t help but feel sorry for Faris.
That doesn’t excuse the ickyness of the game, but I think I can understand how Faris might’ve been feeling! I’m sad he felt that he had to go into the mascot horror sub genre and possibly abandon his passion projects just because he had to make money!
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Garten of Ban Ban, or mascot horror as a whole, I hope Faris and the euphoric brothers can eventually find their voice, and whatever happens with them in the future, I wish them nothing but the best!💖💖💖
me watching this video: h a l l m a n
I feel like if this game perhaps was about depression instead of a tragic violent event it would feel like a respectable piece of media, I mean this had so much potential but tried so hard to be funne XD!
Easily became a new fave TH-camr for sure! Love your commentary and your use of nostalgic Hotel Dusk music! Keep up the awesome work!
I feel like similar to Ban Ban reincarnated, this game can be very powerful if put in the right hands and taken seriously
Also, as other comments pointed out, there are other ideas in this game that would work if they were in completely separate games. Like a game about a high school romance where the girl that the protagonist is dating turns out to be a werewolf, or a game where a normal kid is in a high school full of weirdos.
I freaking spit my coffee when that flying wolf scene played HAHAHAHAA
The blue fedoras caught me so off guard 💀
After the Don't Escape video and this, I'm putting notifs on, love the videos.
