先生 i have a question please answer! While i studying i found a question which is - 私にできることがあれば。何か_____.
Options : 1. 手伝わせていただきませんか
Options : 2. お手伝いさせていただきませんか
I chose 1st option but answer is 2nd. But I don't understand if i do causative 手伝う become 手伝わ. But here is 手伝い.
Please 教えて 先生。
I know させていただきませんか is used to polite. But why here 手伝う become 手伝い ?
And one more question: 今日残業がないので、私は早く家へ______.
Option: A. 帰るそうだ
Option: B. 帰れそうだ
Because of そうだ use verb dictionary from+そうだ = 帰るそうだ
But answer is 帰れそうだ . Why ?😢

Honestly 手伝わせていただきませんか also looks ok to me! if the question is asking to match the politeness level, then お手伝いさせていただきませんか is more polite. But again, I would use both!
Plain form+ そうです means "I heard that"
Stem + そうです means "I seems that"

@@MasaSensei I bit understand. In my book "JLPT N3 Bun no ruru" there is no stem with そうだ uses or example. (But now This is clear) And although still i doesn't clear for me why correct ans 手伝い instead of 手伝わ.. i know 2nd one is more polite but why い instead ofわ?
