It’s nice to see a room that actually has personal pieces collected over time from travels like in the wine room rather than just the generic boxes, vases etc you see in cupboards and bookshelves in every episode. Having the same pieces all the time can not only look bland but also has a shop by numbers feel to it as well. Eclectic artwork or pieces adds not only interest because it’s sentimental to the owners but it usually has a story behind it too.
Love how you filled the asymmetric space. Also love the brass shelving, not seen that put in a bathroom before & OMG the moodiness of that wine room, so cosy! ❤
Perfection. I do not know how you can manage so many details at once and bring them all together so perfectly. I am doing a kitchen remodel and I feel like I am going to blow a gasket choosing my tile.
This home is the epitome of contemporary living, so chill with drama and cosyness, ;ove the consideration for a corner of the master so it becomes a desk where could so easily be a lost area. I would love a floor plan of how this sits on the site witha shout out for the architects if possible because i am intrigued by the pool and the way the home has different aspects. I have to build custom my heart is sold. Beautiful, minimal pallete and yet McGee sets up that interest in textile and staging every inch of space to live well. Inspiring. Thank you for so much detail in how you work and that all this stuff we can buy form McGee collections.

The wine room is awesome! It's not often my husband and I agree but this room inspires us both! We have a much simpler sunroom space and the emerald sofa would be a perfect to make it our "wine parlor". Can you point me to the sofa? I can't find it linked on your website.

I love that you have a great eye for details when is comes to little architectural design/details. I love the paneling in the bathroom. Not many interior designers can think of that.
I love you primary bathroom. Where did you get the Roman shade from? What is the color and material? Do you suggest inner mount or outer mount? It looks like this one is an outer mount. Is that correct?

I have had this vision for 2 years, trying to translate to designers/contractors how I want my fireplace wall (which is flanked by 2 floor-to-ceiling windows) to look, and this wine room is IT! How do I get the black marble fireplace surround?! And what type/width of molding/trim work is being used on the walls?
Okay Interior Designers, we need to talk: 1. Books are not a decor(ation) 2. Nobody uses 8 pillows on a bed 3. Stop dicussing the bedding color as part of your process because bedding is not art. 4. Go into a project expecting to “space plan”
