I know that I wasn't the only one who cried buckets when Rengoku died. But his final words to the boys really got me. I was literally still crying even when I went to bed that night he died a true hero. Tanjiro was right Rengoku won that battle despite not being trained properly , became a hashira he really held his own against the upper moon because of his sacrifice there were no injuries or deaths on the mugan train; rest in peace flame hashira Rengoku
My GF and I layed in bed one night and I said "baby, I want you to watch this Anime with me. Ik your not into it, but I really believe youll like this." We layed in bed and she watched it with me and originally she wasnt a big fan of Rengoku and how strange he was. But seeing him fight Akaza she changed her mind quick. I remember her saying "No Kyojuro." When she noticed that Rengoku changed his demeanor a little bit after realizing he couldnt beat Akaza. I remember thinking "wow, she really likes him now. Shed never remember his name if she didnt." And she sobbed when Rengoku died. She began to calm down and then when Inosuke made his speech to Tanjiro she just broke even more. When I first watched the movie I sobbed too

This is why I love anime and most do not understand. Almost all anime . It’s the same. Main characters are pushing themselves to become better and to help people. People make fun of anime who don’t understand it, yet fill their heads and love watching horrible tv shows that do nothing but portray hatred .

Lost my mother 10 days ago she died due to heart attack in 3 hours and day before yesterday she was completely fine she gave me food last night before her death made by her she was totally fine and next day just after 3-4 hours of sleep she woke up and then between 7-9 she got heart attack and died in hospital and she didn't had any past record of any medications also... Feeling so sad as she was the only human i loved from heart and i turned 18 few months back and I'm in 12th and my father is abusive so i don't talk to him much so she was the only one...

Rengoku is such an amazing character and such a badass he nearly killed the third powerful demon there is and made him run in fear and agony even when Rengoku was exhaused by the fight before
If only he was able to lock Akaza in place just a little more until the sun came up. The pure rage I felt against Akaza and sadness I experienced to Rengoku is immeasurable... 😥

I just love that anime can bring all of us together and live the similar emotions as we watch these scenes. The first time we met Rengoku and learning about his personality, his past, and his actions... We all formed a deep bond with him. I'd even argue that we bonded with him so deeply even more than some of our family members. Then, we saw the INTENSE battle between Akaza and Rengoku. Rengoku promised to not let anybody die there. And after the fight was over, all of us were left with a deep loss... He kept his promise and saved every single person on the train with the cost of his life... Every single one of us cried our eyes out. We all have lost someone we all have admired and loved wholeheartedly... At the end we all have left with his words and the emotions he left us with, and the passion for living his memory for the rest of our lives... But most importantly he left us this quote to remind us to look forward and do our best no matter the situation we are put in: "If you are feeling disheartened, that you are somehow not enough.. SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE. Dry your eyes and look ahead." ❤️🔥😭
even though i finished demon slayer, i still remember this scene. it still is even after watching it after a year very tearful, and honestly, not crying in this scene makes u have a stone cold heart.
Rengoku was my favorite Hashira. In Hashira meeting arc, He and Mitsuri were the friendliest while the other don't talk and stay quiet. He didn't have much time on screen and had to die, though he finished his mission to save all the people on the train. Set your heart ablaze!❤🔥
I watched this movie with my brother and like many of you I LOVED RENGOKU. Something about his heart and they way he stood up to a foe as strong as the upper 3 was so awesome. After the movie I went on about how awesome he was and stuff like that, my brother disagreed, he said we did really get to know him so he didn't really care that he died. I was mad at first saying that he was just a robot and had no heart. But I could explain why my heart was crushed when he died. But I do now, I think the reason I love him so much is because out of all the hashier he on the weaker end (not at all saying he's weak), and he probably know that better then anyone, but to stand up to a foe that's way stronger then you, and to ultimately lay down your life to protect others is the coolest and must Hero worth thing anyone can do, and not only that but to do all that because his told him. That's why I believe Rengoku to be one of the coolest demon slayers ever!
