- Here's a small and concise guide on Yuanwu from Wuthering Waves with demonstration. I play him as DPS which is shown in this guide.

i rly don't understand about his 4 3 3 1 1 main stats
4: crit rate/crit damage
3: electro
3: electro
1: Def

Yeah, you're welcome. He does damage based on his defense.
Its fairly new term because of wuwa
43311 for max dps
Or
44111 for balance crit
Or
33311 usually for 3 pieces energy regen

Master Yuanwu is such a gentleman.. 🗿🍵
- He recharges his forte automatically off-field, charge faster if you help him...
- left his pillar whenever he's switched out, and massive detection buff, nice QoL.. [passive 2]
- ocassionally rage on-field, but his stance wont be canceled when switched out... making his rotation flexible..
- Takes care of your useless DEF pieces and turned them into his offense..

Once the break bar is broken, heavy + basic spam will do good damage in infused state. Before then, use basic spam & outro to deplete break gauge quickly.

Actually you don't need to to recharge his forte before switching the intro gives more plus you can just drop the pillar and make time with the echo skill then transform or use ultimate with the bonus an go ham

wow i didn't know that tower charge his forte bar even if he off field 😅😅. from what i know, even RC5 yuanwu COULD be OP dps sub support if we can max his level to unlock his last skill which increase electric tower range. also ,focus everything on defense lol
Yeah.. It all depends on how well defence scaling scales at late game. And also on if Kuro will give love to defence scaling character same love as atk scaling characters.
I built him with two 3 cost energy regen and a 4 cost crit rate because flutist drop on electro damage bonus sucks. I've been grinding for days now and that bozo never drops electro damage bonus
Drops are so bad in this game with respect to the time required for mobs farming or stamina required for tacit field.. It's getting ridiculous, imo.

Shields for days then if you've S4.
Same! Full defense on weapon and 43311. C4. Rarely have to heal, and I don't even bother switching out for support. I just solo 😂

I just build him pure defense and no substats
Resource management at its finest.
I maxed him out with Sequence 6 from Yinlin banner. Built him with around 2700 DEF. He packs a punch 😅

I have him at C4 and went with the defense weapon, and 4-3-3-1-1 all defense. I don't even bother buffing him with other characters. With the shield from C4, and the bell echo ability I just solo everything lol very rarely do I need to switch to healer.
If the main stats on him is :
4: crit rate/crit damage
3: electro
3: electro
1: Def
1: Def
then what stats you want on each echo by priority ?
Crits > Def% > Basic Attack Damage > Energy Recharge/ Skill damage bonus > Liberation damage bonus > Flat Def
As long as I've couple of these in Substats, I'll happy for now.
Can you make a video on how to build support character specially healers pls??
Rio, there is only 1 build for healers. 4 cost: Healing Bonus. 3 Cost: Energy Recharge. 3 Cost Atk/HP 1 Cost Atk/HP on Rejuvenating echo set. Atk/HP depending upon healer's scaling.
you should've showcased this on bosses not on mobs
On a hind sight yes. I went with these mobs since they don't run around a lot which makes it easier to show the steps. I will keep it in mind for next time.
This is what I barely learned after two days that I wished I knew earlier. I didn’t know how to enter the infused state. Or how to use his forte skill even when I was **holding basic attack like all the others**
My other question I want to learn is how do I pass his Ult effect to

EDIT.:Well, at the official website there's some info about his skills: "... The raging thunderstorm inflicts two consecutive hits of ranged AOE damage upon enemies to his front. The released lightning energy also grants all team members increased resistance to interruption." There you go, that's what the ultimate skill can provide to the other menbers of the team.
Maybe the ult effect for others is just the anti-interruption buff. Edit.: It really is, though I might remember that this skill can be improved by one of his sequences somehow, but i'm not sure.
I have made a video on basics of Yuanwu. It should clear your doubts.
You can't transfer the lightening normal attacks to others only interruption resistance is passed to next characters after Yuanwu ult. How to pass it? Just use Yuanwu ult and then switch to other character.
His S3 increases the pillar damage by % of his Def, but only when Yuanwu's Forte bar is full. S3 is purely for off-field Yuanwu, I recon.

Yes, I have exactly S3. He does quite more now since he's level 70 with highest possible talents.

I'm used to genshin damage numbers so I don't know about wuwa. How much is the average damage dealt here?
I would say this team is similar to electro charged teams. Not big number, shit ton of small numbers.
Which skill should we raise first for him?
Forte circuit > Resonance Skill > Resonance Liberation > Intro. Don't level Basic attack at all.
What weapon would you say is his best currently?
The one with def%
4 star Def% main stat weapon called "Amity Accord".
