The last set of German Zimmerman rotors I put on were warped right out of the box.
I bought some Chinese Brembo's and they are perfect.

Good video. 👍. I refurbish low mileage used cars and cars with good quality rotors I usually just resurface. But applying a non directional finish is a must for me. Really helps bed in the brake pad for good contact and smooth/quiet operation.

I had issues with the stop techs I put on our Q7, rotors were decent ( also slotted ) but the pads were defective AF and had to swap them out within 100 miles of installing them.

Loving my ammco with round bits ...
The finish with 3m pads , results in an awesome pedal feel , but wears pads quickly at first ...

It is true. There machine can not go at a lower speed. Might want to try a performance shop.

I keep forgetting to ask this in other videos but do you know what the number on the bottom of 2.0t connecting rods mean? The number right on top of the rod cap?

For a while boss was allowing me to cut new rotor ..about 50% of the Chinese rotors were slightly warped ..the very first car he did not me to cut new rotors , car had a nasty squeal after new rotors..
Definitely turn new rotors on 4wd , with bearings..

Video showing a COBBLED together bare bone Accuturn model 8922 single speed brake lathe or 8944 dual speed brake lathe set up while and totally improperly using the wrong adapters also using them in the wrong way. Not to mention the fact that you are using an "Ammco 4000 Brake Lathe" NEGATIVE RAKE cutting head when Accuturn uses a POSITIVE RAKE cutting head. You need to study positive rake cutting bits and negative rake cuttting bits to even begin to understand everything that is being done wrong in this video. Go buy an actual real set of proper adapters and do the job correctly.
