    The P09 is a very well designed pistol. My favorite polymer pistol for sure. The omega trigger system is a great design as well. It breaks in better with more rounds. Also pretty sure those sights will glow pretty good for a while after charged with light for a while. The P09 and P07 are just so easy to shoot well for me.

    I could be wrong but i think CZ had to go with the RMSC/K footprint to avoid interfering with internals. That being said, the full size EPS has the K footprint and is a perfect match for this gun. That's what i plan on mounting once i pick one of these up. P07 has been my EDC/IDPA rig for a while now so the 09F will be great for a duty/carry optic/3gun set up

      Yeah the reddit pictures of the full size EPS looks ideal to me fits dang close to a perfect fit. Since you grabbed this does that mean you are going to run you A01 with p09/p10 mags not convert for the 75 mags? If you build up your p09/p10 mag eco system they are compatible with the DWX if you go down that route later.

Idc though because 99% of us just wanted the factory cut. also idk if they would let you in a competition but if you blast the front sight with a Whitelight for like 10 seconds ittl glow for a solid 2 minutes. • @TheGentlemanGunner
      @TheGentlemanGunner  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@chefmatt6299 I see what you mean… jumping back and forth between thoughts on videos can get me disconnected. To answer original question… I’m going to throw Cajun parts in for fun and toy with it little a bit. As for as more training and time… if I spent more time on the gun… could improve the results??? Absolutely! Where I try to land with content in general is where is it out of the box and how hard is it to obtain decent results… some guns (like this one)…. You’ll have to put more time on it. It’s not perfect by any means… but I’ve seen shooters that perhaps fall under a lower threshold of training and skill hop on similar guns and produce identical results. My point, I try to articulate how hard is it to grab a higher level of performance out of the box.
      Edit for the mechanical thought: to elaborate a touch more… guns that are oriented towards the Duty market tend to be heavier sprung… like this one. So if you want to tighten up groups mechanically speaking… you can play around with different recoil springs and in this case (at least minor)… hammer spring as well. Just got to be consider if what ammo you consider going forward. The further you go out such as when I go from the doubles at 10yds to the 25yd bill drill… weight and trigger tend to have a higher influence.
      My plan is to do the full CGW Trigger kit along with trying different recoil springs.

      @@TheGentlemanGunner thank you very much for the extensive thoughts, you absolutely answered my question. I am curious about it being something like a DA/SA glock equivalent with a size for competition and a size for carry; but if it was substantially more difficult to get proficient with than a Glock for any reason then it may not be worth the time.
      Sounds like it has some potential, will never be a shadow 2 with the lower weight-but I guess my curiosity is if it can be run at a high level the way Glocks can and it sounds like you see that as viable with perhaps some work.
      Thanks!

      @@rurouniad first and foremost, thank you for challenging me on this. The frustrating thing for me is trying to figure out why people will watch and like the videos… but no thoughts after.
      Let me start with the purpose of the this drill. The point is to see how well the gun recovers under rapid fire and what the general recoil impulse is like. The first go around are controlled pairs (in which you see I was at 0.30s)… then I ramp up the speed. My goal is to maintain a 3-4” group and in this case, 0.24. When I went faster, I started dipping into the .18/.19s… the group spread out to 7-10” typically with the second shot being high. I didn’t show that run in this video as well as kept the recoil impulse off of this part because I felt I covered that enough in other portions and didn’t want the info redundant.
      Yes I am the variable and of course it is dependent on my skill. So what I do is try keep as many variables consistent such as using blazer 115 Aluminum for ammo, distance, and targets. My grip is something the audience has to trust me on and I try to use my actual grip and not a forced one… I can certainly hunker down and perhaps with some practice… crank out .18 splits at 10yds with this gun. But I try to keep it to as close to someone just grabbing the gun and going for it. I can showcase my skill, but that’s not what the audience is interested in. I have b-channel that I show my actual matches… and those views are way less than these lol.
      To answer other question, I don’t drink and this was the only gun I tested that day with the weather being great for once (I put the temps on the day I evaluate on the the actual list)… so debatably should’ve been at my best. But I can walk away from this one with confidence I didn’t give this gun any special treatment nor did I fall short on it.
