Hi Ashley. The main reason we haven't done a video on the H5 panel is that all JACK machine functions are the same, the same icon/button on an A series machine is identical on a H series, so watch one of Peters videos on the A5E as the same button/icon does the same thing.
Hi Adam, Thank you for your videos, they are so helpful. I wonder if you have any idea why the auto thread cutter on my H5 machine is cutting the top thread too short ? The needle unthreads every time I start to sew. I would be very grateful for any ideas !!!! Thank you so much
This can happen with some stiffer abrasive threads, ensure your upper (pre tension) tension unit is very loose....almost no tension, do not thread through all 3 holes on the top chrome guide, this will lower the amount of friction when the machine cuts allowing a longer tail to start the neaxt seam.

Hi! I looked at the video you posted and have noticed that your machine is not threaded correctly at the main tension assembly. Please go ahead and watch our video on threading the H2 as it is exactly the same and this may fix the problem. If not then I suggest loosening the small pre-tension unit as this regulates how much thread is left after the trim.

Yes, very similar principle Richy, just ensure you order the correct cutters, as they are a different shape on your A4s.

You need to go back to your local dealer to get spare parts for JACK machines.

If you scan the QR code on the machine or the book it will tell you all the error codes for the machine.
