how to repair
You made this video 3 years ago and it just helped me now. Thank you thank you thank you. It has saved me money I'd have spent on a technician. Wow!
Thank you so much from Southern California, this really helped! That was driving me nuts, and you fixed it. Thank you so much!
OMgoodness! Thank you for this technician menu overview! I'm still only part way through the video but I couldn't help but write a comment. Due to a physical disability, I can't use the treadle. I'm wondering if I can program the button as a start stop? (that respects the programmed stitch number and the automatic and manual function like the treadle does)?
Sir, I have an artisan 1797AB my stitch indicator does not seem to work. It does turn, but the stitches do not regulate. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks a lot.
Thank u sar
Thanks for the video. My machine is not overlocking thicker fabric, sometimes even the thin one. What may be the problem
This helped so much as their videos she threaded it incorrectly and I kept breaking the thread. Lifesaver, I was about to return it. It worked beautifully!
How tight should the tension disks be? Thanks
I found you via Chris Lucas’ channel when she got her machine. I was wondering if there is a Juki or Jack equivalent to it? If so, what are there names?
Hi! Are you in Australia? There is a JACK machine that is similar and I'm sure there would be a JUKI machine as well. The main thing is that the JACK is quite a bit more expensive and the JUKI is even more. Can I ask please why you are asking about these two brands which are both made in China as well? We have found that our product is a superior product being that it is twin stepping motor operated instead of single on the JACK and our PS-1933B has a few more features like the 1/2 and 1/4 stitch buttons.
@ thanks. I sure am in Aus. I’ve heard of both Jack and Juki, but only heard of this machine via Chris Lucas’ channel when she got hers. I loved the sound of the features on it, but I’ve not heard of it before and it’s red. I prefer blue. Pretty funny reason to look at something less red but with blue I know 😂 I wondered if I could find a machine like that but in blue.
No worries, the machine Chris Lucas has is also available in blue but we don't keep the blue in stock. We also have the top of the range machine with all the same features as the PS-1933B but it has a very easy to use touch screen instead of buttons, this is our PS-1933A which only comes in blue :) I have one of these machines about to land.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines oooo. I definitely am interested in that version. I’ll contact you directly as I can’t see that version online.
@SewFelicia - No problem, you can email me - sandpsewingsupplies@gmail.com
I have the 3rd kind, i tried what you did and when i start going the piece underneath stops it from moving, i qlso get uneven
Hello, how do you fix inappropriate stitch length i.e 8mm dial and the actual stitch on fabric is 6.3mm
It worked for us thank you
You're welcome!
My wheel moved back but not forward.
what do you do when it don't wine
Brilliant video. Thank you so much. I can keep referring back to it until I am compitant
Thanks for watching :)
Thank you, my Jack 5 knee lift/bar was configured wrong. Couldn't get it to work. Now configured correctly.
Excellent!

Thank you for a very informative video

Thank you, your video was very informative
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for this film. Partially you cover the view with the lamp😊
My pleasure 😊
I have a new jack a5e e and used about half hour. Knife will randomly not move back to position and break needles. What could be wrong. I have some knowledge of this machin
A possible cause is a bent needle plate. If you have had a needle strike then I'd have a look at this.
How did you change the bobbin tension? You did it off the screen
Hi thanks a lot. You are the first showing this kind of vidéo. I've broken the upper looper and I can see that there is 2 holes on it. I've loosen mine. I've bought one but there's only one hole on. Is that good. I got problem to put on the thread. My overlock is 747d siruba. Thanks God Bless.
I'd make sure you have the right part as it should be replaced like for like.
👍👍 Hi, can i do this on Jack S7?
You might be able to. Did you get a sheet with all the parameters on it?
Hi thank you for sharing this. I recently bought a TY-1300DD-1 industrial machine and I’m struggling with reading the manual it’s not the easiest! Please could you help me to explain what the motor box exactly does and the tension parts of this machine . i’m in desperate need of help! thank you so much
The motor on this is a. direct drive servo motor which allows you to adjust the speed and needle position. There is a pre-tension which is the little set of tension disks at the top of the thread path then there is the main tension assembly down on the face of the machine. The pre-tension does not need very much tension at all, you do all your setting with the main tension assembly. The main tension assembly adjusts the needle thread tension (the bottom of the fabric). If you have your bobbin thread tensions et correctly and you see thread looping on the bottom then you tighten the top tension but if you see looping on the top you loosen the top tension. Hope this helps.

My screws are striped how do I get it out an I need new screws
If the screw threads are stripped out then you need to replace the needle bar as from memory these are a one piece unit with the needle clamp system.
lol. I wonder if this is for me for next week when I pick up my new machine!
Thank you for this video! Could you please tell me, if its possible, to slow down the speed when the machine automatically locks the seam? My Machine locks so quick ... Thank you very much!!
Yes, you can slow the speed on the back tacks but I don't have a copy of the parameter list anymore so I don't know what the numbers are sorry. If you got a paper sheet with the parameters on you can find the right numbers and bring them down to a respectable speed.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines Thank you very much!! Good to know!
What about the area that says put solid grease. What should we put there?
You need to get a grease that is suitable for gears on an industrial sewing machine to put in there.
Thanks 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
can you do a video on jack E3 5 thread i cant get it to the good tension and stitch length
I'm sorry but we no longer sell JACK machines so I can't get one to do the video for you.
Thanks for the review, I am not new to industrial machines, however, the latest direct drive industrial machines by JACK come with new features the older industrial machine does not have. I have recently got my eyes on the A2 direct drive industrial machine, and this informative video has boosted my confidence to go for it.
Great to hear, thanks for watching.
Omg thanks a lot for this clip 💓 And the comments section are the most useful ones as well ❤ I have got my first industrial sewing machine A5E-Amh and I was so worried looking at the manual as it's useless 😢 your tutorial and comments helped me to do my first bar tack stitching 😊
You can do it!
Thank you very much for this video
Glad it was helpful!
Ciao, dove si possono acquistare questi piedini per cerniera?? Abito in Italia e qui non li trovo da nessuna parte.
They are readily available feet, you should be able to get them from any good industrial machine supplier in your area.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines Grazie mille! Gentilissimo ☺
Thank you❤. It worked
You're welcome!
Finally found someone who actually provides accurate easy to understand information. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Why does walking foot leaves mark in leather? Can you change that with seting machine? It will ruin leater if it stich like that.
Walking foot will always leave marks because of downward pressure from pressure regulator. You will need to use a flat bottom foot to lessen the impact.
Thank alot it worked
You're welcome!
Can you use regular sewing machine oil for every moving part or do you need thicker oil for some parts?
Regular sewing machine oil or white machine oil is fine. The jack machines use grease to lubricate the top of the walking foot mechanism, your machine would have come with a syringe of it.
Industrial ovelocker stuck what. Went rong
Industrial ovelocker
I want to know about the ovelocker
Exactly what I was looking for to change mine (H5). Just a question if that's ok? When pressing heel back on the foot pedal to lift the foot, sometimes not every time my machine will do a super fast and scary back and fore starting stitch. It's very random so any advice very much appreciated. Do you also have a video on the domestic settings you put on your machines at all please? Thank you once again for an invaluable video tutorial.
Your machine will do the end tack if you hadn't done it previously as it is programmed to do that. Sorry but we can't give you our settings as we no longer sell the JACK brand and I don't have the parameter list for the machines. They do change them occasionally as well.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines Thank you I appreciate your reply
