I thought the rules were where you were not able to make an amendment to the club beyond the standard conforming product. Having the GC Quod metal dots are illegal for competition yet I would have thought it hardly improves the performance of the club.
Anything that will enhance or change the performance of the club / ball. As the lines are so fine with a sharpie it doesn’t change anything to the club

Having launch monitor stickers on a club face should be legal
