    I think that’s the first time I’ve been able to watch a full 45 minute instructional video all the way through. Really well made. I started with this one but definitely going back to watch the rest of the series.

    Another great video. We all make silly errors in our best efforts to make quality woodworking products. Sometimes we are own worst critics. Keep making great videos that encourage us to continue.

    Goodness, the “mistake” of blowing the debris off the 3D printer, that is totally something I’d do!

    What can you use beside a heat gun? Will Blow dryer work?

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  ปีที่แล้ว

      A high powered 1200-1500W hair dryer will work normally, yes.

    Sean, where did you pursue your CNC machine/Table? do you have to flood coat? can you just polish your table? or does it really matter what method you use. i see aot of polishing on river tables....is it because its a bigger table, compare to making it for a customer. dinning, kitchen etc

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The CNC is from Axiom Precision. Its an AR16. As for flood coating, no, you don't HAVE to. I do it because its a quick an easy way to get a clear finish. The alternative is sanding from a low to very high grit, wet sanding, then polishing. A MUCH more intensive process.

    something ive noticed and im a beginner is you run thru buckets a lot, or i do. question to you is, do you wash out the bucket and re-use or is that dangerous to have particles or color seeping into next project and not worth the risk?

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. If your resin is very thoroughly mixed let it harden in the bucket. Then once set, "crack" or pop out the excess resin to reuse it. Unfortunately we are spoiled and have buckets provided to us from our partners, so we often don't keep buckets and reuse them for too long. But it is possible to do.

      @@CraftedElements haha totally understand. maybe make a thick walled bucket made of the same stuff as your other rubber molds so people can pour bigger quantities and re-use them for future pours... if that idea goes thru and you like it all i ask is to get one for free hahaha
