Hydropower Project Using Stepper Motor

The stepper motor can also operate as an electrical generator transforming mechanical energy into electrical energy. The advantage of the stepper motor over the normal electric motor is that it works at low speed.
To build our turbine, the first step was to glue two large plastic covers using hot glue. Then it was just a matter of gluing eight smaller bottle caps to it.
Materials used: 1 stepper motor, 1 LED, 2 large plastic caps, 10 small plastic caps, 1 barbecue stick, 1 plastic box, 3 nylon cable ties, 1 hot glue gun, 1 cutting pliers and 1 drill .
