Whatever you think of Max you got to love this about him, he just loves his racing.. Good on him..
There are racecar drivers and then there's Max Verstappen.
This is exactly how I would like Max's stream to look like, pure onbard plus him in a little window. Without all the unnecessary noise and comments of others.
He can’t stream it himself…. That’s not allowed by the real organiser. And he isn’t driving alone, he drives with 3 other drivers thus the stream needs to be organised somewhere else. And TeamRedline fills the 24hrs with all sorts of talk, fun, answering questions, to keep the viewers entertained 24hrs straight

@@shfd3832 Theyre are 4 I believe, GT3 (Fastest) GT4 (A lil slower but still fast,) The touring car (Hyundai Elantra, Audi S3)
And Toyota GT86's.
This is what people mean by multiclass racing. Which is so much fun! Cus even if your having a lonely race in your own class, theres loads of overtakes to be done!! :D

the lack of even simple mistakes this guy makes is just crazy. also to do this 3 or 4 hours after a F1 pole and then to get a win 12 hours later. wild stuff that im glad im alive to witness

@@felipesiedschlagyopan4185 Great question, I've no idea, but I do know he is itching to do a real life endurance race like Le Mans, or Daytona or N24, Like itching to go! So maybe one day we will deffinatley see it. I'd bet you my last dollar we will.

Max does not sleep in (nearby) hotels anymore to avoid being followed by press 24/7 etc.
He prefers this: sim racing in between real racing..True monster!
Max has a (very) large private motor home in which this basic sim rig is installed.
It has a living, bed room, racing room, kitchen, bathroom - and all he needs in the morning is to step out and be in the paddock within minutes.
Race finished? Off he goes in his private Dassault Falcon 900 JEt (which he bought from Richard Brandson) and call it another weekend done.
Not bad.....
I'm sure he will do a full season in WEC and race the actual Nurburgring 24 someday

Is Replay clearer than when you're actually driving at night? The edges of my screen at night are blurred, do I have a setting messed up?
I think I had it the same as in the video without blurring, so try to check your replay if it's blurry and then check if the Graphics and Replay settings are different.

How does he have access to a rig while he is in imola? Does he quickly fly back to monaco or something?
Some of the drivers have RVs which they stay in while at the track (to avoid travel back and forth to hotel I guess), he has one with a sim rig in it apparently.

He just loves his craft! Whoever raised this dude, did everything right. Work ethics, family values and pure dedication, straight forward, no bs. What a legend! For me he should be the Driver of the day on every race weekend.
Might be a dumb question as I think he's in I Racing, but does he necessarily use cockpit view himself or some other camera position and we are seeing cockpit view. Just curious.

Yes for this setup he used a single display. He has a triple display setup at his house if I remember correctly.

Because this footage is from a spectated view of the race, where iRacers can join in and watch hence why his dash info is hidden as the telemetry doesn't get sent out while spectating

multiclass sometimes requires a bit of driving with your elbows out. the car ahead was a slower class and he wanted to get past as quick as possible. maybe a bit dirty but it happens anyway
nothing wrong about dive bombs as long as you make the apex and don't use the other car as a brake
Also, there was plenty of space? It was a very well calculated move. And the other car was actually generous, you could see how much space there was when Max was passing him.
