It’s so nice to listen to someone whom you can tell has dedicated a lot of passion into some specific subject.

The Duke of Parma, looks as if he could have stepped off a bus in London today. He has a modern face for a young man living 500 years ago. Some faces do have that look of belonging to any time in history, whilst others do look very much like the era they are from!

She looks very powerful in her own right in the outfit she chose for this video.

I love that the men are being talked about, they always seem to be the ones glossed over when talking about historical fashion.

Never mind the Power Dressing from these paintings. I think her hairstyle and choice of wardrobe compliments this woman in every way possible. She reminds me of one of those iconic 1980's Patrick Nagel paintings herself. Make a painting of her looking at and analyzing those paintings with the passion and dedication that she does, and it would sell for millions. What made me decide to subscribe to Christie's was that intense, passionate, and admirative stare @3:27. This woman sticks to judging what she is the best at: Historical fashion. And she appreciates it as masterfully and as diligently as she can. I appreciate that. Whatever you apply yourself to, whether it be from repairing cars to owning a business to raising a family, to being an ER- RN (which I am), to being a manager of a grocery store, to being a lawyer, a Doctor, a Veterinarian, Firefighter...ETC...do it with the face and passion that this woman shows in this video. Trust me, after working 12-hour shifts as an RN in a COVID-19 Ward in Balwin Park, CA, it was a relaxing moment of peace to see the passion in this woman's dedication to her craft. Now, I can go to sleep, rest for two days, and be ready by 08/17/2021 to face new cases of PNA-infected Covid-19 patients. Thank you for that moment of relaxation Christie. You are a truly beautiful woman...

Excellent. With one minor mistake creeping in: Alessandro Farnese spent the majority of his life as a Prince of Parma (i.e. heir to the Duchy), only becoming Duke in 1586 (about six years before he died).
This is, of course, a very minor point that shouldn't distract from the focus of this presentation, and the beautiful portraits. Thank you!

That's so cool to see the old style in such detail. I would try both styles, regardless of what people would say.

It's all about taking up space in the eyes of the world; that's why Cranach deliberately chose to show the Elector as threatening to burst out of the confines of the frame. The later portraits are more about the men showing how, literally, hard they were, by wearing armour, even though it was pretty much obsolete from a practical point of view. They are hard and reflect the light and, at the same time, are melting into the shadows
