Love DJ. Will be solely missed when he does retire. Not just one of the best to ever do it. His submission of Ray Borg is still one of, if not the best set-up and submission in MMA history. Also, what a stand-up guy. Always comes across as humble and decent. The UFC really missed the boat with this guy. They should have really pushed his background and what he went through growing up. Would have been a bigger star. Still, I feel DJ has actually made himself a bigger star since leaving. A part of me would still like to see DJ compete in PFL and Bellator to get the belts and complete the 'set'.

It's funny how they was gonna kill the division because he was so dominant and when he left that division became the most competitive and one of the most entertaining.....that just made his star power shine even greater if you ask me
How can you not love DJ? As skilled as a champion as theres ever been and always carried himself like a champion win or lose. Were going to miss him when he's gone so let's appreciate him while he's here.
Man I love how honest DJ is and how he recognizes his flaws (like acting or boxing). Dude is the GOAT and on the MMA Mount Rushmore. Its great to see how damn humble he is, it is very inspiring. He truly respects his craft despite being one of the greatest.
i don’t think i’ve ever said this about a fighter but how can you not like this guy he’s literally one of the greatest combat sports athletes to ever live and talks and acts like he’s some random joe very humbling

He's a stud and is crazy talented...idk how he moves so fast, and it's crazy how he transitions so quick and flawlessly, definitely a GOAT candidate...
This was one of the best interviews in a long time! DJ is such a down to earth dude.
It may not be as popular an opinion these days but I still maintain DJ is the GOAT. You strip away everything to do with popularity and hype and personalities and I've never seen anyone exhibit the skills he showed in this game when he was at the height of his title run. A true legend and such a stand up guy!

DJ's completely effortless but perfect Henry Cejudo impression is always so funny.
MM is god in my eyes, got into the sport and to watch a fighter that was so different every time he fought is just incredible. He never gives you the same guy you've been watching on film, his fight IQ is insane and he has some amazing finishes, suplex to flying armbar, and some matrix hit right there. Cheers for the memories MM, a true, humble legend of our sport, the greatest in my eyes.
