Absolutely mesmerizing! This video captures the essence of Alaskan fishing adventure so beautifully. From the breathtaking scenery to the thrill of reeling in those massive halibut and salmon, every moment was pure excitement. Kudos to the team at North Country Charters for such an unforgettable experience
Aloha & Mahalo, thank you so much for your kind words - we truly loved our experience and took ALOT of extra time and care to edit it just right! Glad it shows in the end product🥹 Captain Ben and all the staff at North Country always provide our family with amazing experiences!
That’s Awesome!!! It was an Amazing on the water! Our entire family loves Homer! We’ll definitely be back! And yup, Captain Ben is great! Glad you came across our video! Take care!
Thanks! We really enjoyed our trip. I believe we were trolling for Salmon and bottom fishing for Halibut. But there were a few times, because of the current, it felt like we were trolling for halibut.
We purchased them from our local hardware store here in Hawaii called City Mill. Maybe you could order the boots from them online but not sure if they do that.
No idea. We were on a Charter Fishing trip. You could contact North Country Charters. Ask them which boat does Captain Ben use. They’re always helpful.
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU GIRLS FOR FISHING AS HARD AS YOU DID AND CATCHING SUCH ENVIOUS FISH 😁 I'm so jonesing to get there and go salmon fishing thank you for the motivation
Hey! Happy New Year! Whatever we catch we keep! Homer has several fish processing companies that make it easy get all our fish packed, sealed and ready to ship (check in to our flight) home. We have a huge family so we split everything with everyone.
@@harkinlucerojr.9580 it's 33' which is probably around average halibut charter in AK. Most bigger boats are slower and/or burn a ton of fuel, under 30's don't have the beam to be safe in rough water ( = cancelled trips.) and don't have a head, furnace, and other conveniences.

Hello guys , what do they do with all that fish ? Do you take some of it home or do they keep it all for sale ?

It's illegal to sell sport caught fish. Especially halibut
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I hope you get a chance to go to Alaska and catch these fish! It truly is an unforgettable experience! Personally we’d love to catch Tarpon one day.
@@goodfunandus I can recommend my aunt she lives in golfshores and they catch big tarpon In the golf
@@USMC_BABE38 That’s great! If we’re ever in that part of the country we’ll reach out to you. Thank you for the recommendation!
@@goodfunandus just let me know
Never hand your rod to someone else, don’t even let them touch your line, if it’s a record book fish you’ll be disqualified
Good to know! Thanks
You're a dork! Some people don't care about that. Besides, if it had record potential the captain would know what to do.
BOAT IS TOOO BIG
SMALL BOAT BUT A NOSE FOR GREAT FISH.
THATS BETTER THAN A BIG BOAT AND NOT KNOWING WHERE TO FIND THE 🐠🐟
