Whoever at F1 decided to just put two tyre barriers in the middle of the track was probably the same person who decided to get rid of Kyalami and instead have Aida on the calendar. Also, here's a fun fact: Contrary to popular belief, Eau Rouge does not refer to the small kink before Radillion, nor does it refer to the entire turn 2 as a whole. Eau Rouge refers to an old hairpin before Radillion which was used in pre-war racing, which means that the only yime Eau Rouge has been on the F1 calendar was when the (sort of) brought it back for 1994.
I know this might be a little off topic but I can defend the Eau Rouge chicane if you look at what happened to Alex Zanardi when he crashed at Raidillon in 1993. He lost control of the car and had a crash similar in trajectory to Lando’s crash in Belgium 2021 qualifying, only it was dry, he was going much faster, and the wall was pretty much right off the kerbs. He got a season-ending concussion and broke blood vessels in both of his eyes, so they were completely blood red.
The game was released once the season was over so of course senna and ratzeberger were omitted out of respect, as for the tracks since it’s a video game it makes no sense to kill the racing action

@@ZJzimo most of the 1994 tracks are from f1sr 1994 track pack Some from 1998 track pack because they feel more higher quality to me Silverstone is a hard bastard to find

@@TouringCarsAndStuff yeah, plenty of mods and cars, some mods can be pretty intense but still low spec. My laptop is complete crap but i run pretty good with medium graphics

in Grand Prix 2 (1994 season) there´s no middle track walls, neither Senna or Ratzenberger..it is a parallel world.

@@fiftyin07 yep, it was that bad, they kept it for 1995 aswell. For 1996 they removed the chicane and made the whole thing a straight like today
