This is where i grew up and this video was reccomended to me! I'm sure my grandpa (who just passed and was an avid gardener) probably spent a lot of time here.
Sorry about your grandpa. My grandmother was also an avid gardener and I make sure to pay homage to her every year with one or two of the standards she always had in her garden. Hollyhocks are always on the list, and then I look for things like foxglove and calendula and many more that make me think of her fondly.
I'm so happy when I see a new video of yours, yet sad when it's over. You and your videos have a profound effect on me in such a wonderful way. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing your next one. Be well
Hi Patrick this is Brian from Avondale Arizona I agree with the other person that commented I'm always in a great mood after your videos they're so relaxing and so fantastic and I have learned so much off your channel you have no idea! I'm getting way better at just looking at a plant and knowing what the name of the plant is thanks to you :-) thank you for all your great work I'm a huge supporter of you I haven't done your patreon but I'm thinking about it I don't have a lot of money but I love your channel and I love it that you want a black cat kitties are so cute!! Keep up the great work❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Patrick for sharing. I love that adenium real nice caudex. Does the fox farm soilmis contains seaweed I understand the the plants love the seaweed formulas.
That’s funny with the 'Nanouk' patent, but I understand it. It’s just ironic to copyright certain cultivars or even genera, such as that one. Really, the only way to keep any _Tradescantia_ or _Callisia_ (i.e., 'Wandering Jew' or 'inch plant') looking good long-term is to deadhead, prune, & propagate. 🤣 I had to clean up the dead blooms on my Nanouk and those stem pieces are still viable cuttings. I wouldn’t throw it away. Either stick them in water or directly into semi-hydro setups to root them. Maybe six months ago, I laid these Nanouk trimmings on top of the soil with a potted fiddle leaf fig, which faces SW so I was worried it’s too hot in the afternoon… it has some protection, but now those are some of my strongest & most vivid Nanouks. Never expected them to flourish like that. Better than the original from the store. And they don’t look like sh*t! ok now I jinxed myself by saying it… 👍🏽
Damn here in Finland the local nursery in my city is crazy expensive. Some plants you can get for a reasonable price but others.... Waaay too much. Not to mention the soil, pots etc. Like I bought Biochar, 2 pots, a roll of string, a bag of soil and one small plant and it cost me over 70 euros lol. And I do go there quite often also so they don't give any discounts either. I do need to get another bag of soil as I left it outside and it's been raining for 2 days so Idk how to save it.
Great video! I hope I’ll be able to watch more of them from prison…how many years do you think I’ll get for propagating a tradescantia Nanook? It gets worse…I’ve done it twice. And I gave one to my neighbor! I could probably get a life sentence for that, huh? I do learn so much from your wonderful videos-thank you, Patrick!!!
The kitty 😻😻😻
Nurseries with cats are heaven on earth!!

Same. I just watched a distrubing video and needed a palate cleanse. Patrick and his soothing voice for the win.

It does contain seaweed in the mix! It’s fairly good for an organic mix! Thanks for watching Marlene 🫶🏽

Great nursery. With cats and caudex plants, you're never going wrong. ❣️🪴
