I need to go to that nursery with the fairy gardens! I can't believe they sell jumping cholla. When we go to the desert we are constantly picking it out of our poor dogs feet. I love your videos.
Hi. I’m new and I enjoy all your tour videos. Im learning new things and just added pseudobombax ellipticum to my wish list plant. It’ll look so good in my front yard. Lol
Pat did you say you want a Hand Fern? At 17:50? I wish for one too! I got one once at Rogers Gardens probably 1980 ish. It was a 1 gal. nursery pot in outdoor ferns, Doryopteris Pedata. It was tough, leathery and lasted more than a year in my kitchen. Unhappily, at 20 something, I was not yet experienced with providing optimal conditions. I wonder why growers don't grow them.
Hello Patrick Brian here from Arizona I love your videos they're so relaxing and so informative just beautiful plants. I may be coming out to California to see my aunt in rancho Cucamonga in October but I think we may fly out there. Do these nurseries you go to ship plants? I know I'm going to want some plants when I go out there lol lol I'm not going to fool myself and I don't think they'll let me take them on the plane correct me if I'm wrong. Just want to know if they deliver or I can put the plants aside and have them send back to Arizona thanks again for a great video❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m not sure any one of them ships except for Mimi’s nursery but you can definitely take them on a plane! Pro tip: put them in a food bag and say it’s food and the airline should let you in! TSA is no problem!
Hello! I love your videos as they tame my plant shopping addiction in a way haha. I was wondering where you buy your soil or what brands you recommend. Are any of the brands from Home Depot good, or should I get it from a local nursery? I figured for getting more into the hobby, I should get some well draining soil that's good quality. Thanks!
I think miracle grow soil would be the best option from Home Depot and I’ve had good success with their soil. For a more organic route I recommend happy frog or ocean forest by Fox Farms!
Thank you! It did feel weird saying “cotton easter! I kept imagining fluffy little bunnies when I said it, so I thank you for clearing that up for me 😅🫶🏽
Anyone else watch because Patrick is so soothing? Wish I could shop all these beautiful nurseries but I'm in TN.
