I bought it and what it can do is amazing BUT I can barely work with it.... with just a few buildings my viewport gets basically useless.... i9, 3070 and 32gb RAM is not the most high end PC, but also far away from weak..... Hope that the addon gets optimized asap!
LOVE this add on but I was one of the folks who had trouble importing it into my scene. It would crash my blender session before I had a chance to switch to low poly view. I unzipped the add on and just run the blend file directly. Apart from that hiccup this addon is amazing.
Same here!! How did you fix it, im running the blender file and it’s still slow and render times for 1 frame are over an hour long? Is that something that can be fixed or will I just have to render it overnight?
Was looking at getting this when it came out but coming from Europe I got put off because it just all looks like old New York City buildings. Like old concrete/brick facade buildings with small windows. If it could also do more modern style office and apartment building facades, pretty much mainly the same thing but with huge windows and some flat surfaces then it'll be great. As it is now it doesn't seem to apply anywhere here at all. Pretty much just needs a couple of different themes(including road marking colours) and then it'll be great for me to use. I think they said more varients are coming, just hopefully the type im looking for, and since the backend tech is all there hopefully it doesn't take too long to add.
Awesome video though. Went through the features a lot more than other videos on it. Actually made me lean towards buying it again because others didn't mention the building upper floor step back options
@@walker1054check out some other videos on it because they may show it, but you can change what styles you want. For London I would shift it more to red and grey brick and up the grunge
Hi, thanks for the great video. This looks like an excellent generator. I do have a question…are the generated items able to interact with each other, like car crashes? Is it easy to add your own creations to the scenes..like people, trees of my own design & can they interact? Thanks again!

Doesn anyone know what will be the minimum computer spec that this add on would work on? Cuz Im not sure if it will work on my acer predator laptop on 3060 card and an 16gb ram

Yeah i had the same issue. You're probably using an incompatible blender version. All i did was switch to another blender version like 4.2 abd it worked

You can adjust what types of facades you want

It looks good but would like it more if there were more the were more than one building per block to give it a real city feel

There's no way to create meshes from this GeoNode... I've bought it for creating game assets...
