Amazing performance, you master this study! In my opinion n. 8 is the best and most passionate transcendental study from Liszt, the central part just gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it.
When I was young, actors on television were given *far* less respect than actors in cinema. Our culture today knows better than that. In twenty years, when the stigma against artists on TH-cam fades away completely, Traum (I assume) will still be active, and understood by all as being one of the world's greatest pianists. He is that *NOW*
@Francine Gee Well said! Never understood why people think artists whom utilize on TH-cam is deserving of lesser respect. I have yet to see any other synthesia format performer has demonstrated greater technical skills than Traum. He simply is an exceptional Pianist, doesn't matter which medium he uses to share his artistry. I am even more impressed and moved by Traum's interpretation's of all his beautiful performances. IT never failed to touch one's soul. Traum is truly a DREAM, a dream came true for people whom appreciate Classical Music, indeed, Traum already is one of a kind!

Thanks for You fact that you played this piece, I wrote a commentary with a request for the 8th transcendental etude of the Liszt, in the film with the polonaise chopin. I've been watching your channel for a few months now and I'm glad I can listen to such good music. At the request of the viewer, you will perform each piece and You have proven it. edit: if You played the 8th transcendental etude of the Liszt, so what's next! Almost finished the TE! Wow, amazing playing. The way you played the middle part and made it sound like a love poem pure goosebumbs. The octave jumps 4 mins in is also just wow. This recordording is surely as good if not better than kissins.

There have been many moments where I have wondered why Karma hasn't looked out for me. I think Karma took all those moments and gave me Traum. Constantly fantastic.
At 2:06, the right hand melody plays G octave, B natural, D, E natural octave, B natural, D, F octave, B natural, D, and G octave, B natural, G. However in the sheet music that I found for this piece off of MuseScore it tells me to play Ab and Cb instead of B natural and D for the first three octaves, and then on the last G octave it goes to Cb and D. I would much rather play Traum's version as it is easier but I want to play it properly. Does anyone know what it actually is? Has MuseScore just made a mistake?
Absolutely amazing Traum! I think this was your best upload so far. I love Wilde Jagd so much, and it's such a difficult piece. Keep up the great work Traum! Thanks for the upload.
I am currently learning this piece and I have felt quite demotivated over time. You let the spark in my heart flame further for this piece, therefore I shall learn. Thank you traum. Btw do you have any general tips for learning this piece? Would like to know your experience learning it
Liszt supposedly wrote his pieces so that nobody else could play them, and Traum is just playing through them like butter wtf. You're literally going to run out of pieces to play
these are liszt's easier pieces, his more obscure repotoire becomes absolutely ludicrous. by looking only at his "showoff" etudes one is looking through keyholes at liszt's talent
He did simplify a lot of his work during his last years, cuz he wanted his pieces to be remembered and played after he passed away. He succeeded, cuz now, alongside with Chopin, he's undoubltly the most briliant composer of the romantic era
Simply by looking at it i now want to go practice... Well done you have to be proud, I'm nowhere close to your level, so i can't say things 100%correct but, the thing that amazed me the most and i still can't get. Is how can you keep your hands and wrists so relaxed while playing this
