I’m sure people will prefer a phone with a tripod and some small accessories mentioned in this video rather than a $3,000+ camera with a $2,000 lens and a $200 gimbal when they’re starting off or when they can’t afford much. We all start somewhere and this video accurately represents the beginning of someone’s vlogging journey. If parents can’t support their children’s passion and it doesn’t even have to be money wise, just overall support them for doing this then I question what the parents are doing to truly help their children succeed in life.
The iPhone is a great way to start vlogging!! I primarily use a Canon M50 but have the iPhone 11 Pro in my pocket JUST IN CASE. Having that feeling of security and knowing that I'll be able to record anywhere anytime is a GODSEND!

However due to an avoidable medical error that caused paralysis from my waist down during surgery I am trying my best to recover from but there are no guarantees that I will ever walk indefinitely again. When Justine was talking about the macro lens, the 11 pro is capable of focusing it just can’t maintain focus so if you don’t get the macro lens and you want to take close up photos, you have to focus and take the photo really fast. The macro lens is a good idea to buy though

I have the same small little spring-loaded metal clamp for my phone. Not a big fan of it though, my phone seems to slip out of it very easily! I need to get the more robust one that rotates like you have.
