      Thanks for watching mate. This 321neo is still in mint condition and it even smells brand new. A lot quieter than traditional 320, and it is truly new generation.

    do you use a suction holder for your phone when doing these full flights?

    • @DrBearAviation
      @DrBearAviation  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I did not use any suction holder. I hand held the camera(iphone) all the time. A suction holder can easily transfer the airframe vibration to camera, degrading the video quality.

      @@DrBearAviation oh yeah true, doesn't your arm hurt when holding for a long period of time?

    • @DrBearAviation
      @DrBearAviation  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vkobi8208 Yes, it hurts, especially when I just started to do this. Perhaps that is the price to pay for the high-quality aviation video that I love. 😁 However after a few flights I feel a lot easier. I usually film for about 30 minutes and then have a quick break of 30 seconds.

    One thing I’ve noticed with most videos of the JQ A321neos is that they all feature a takeoff with an engine view that seems to catch the engines at toga thrust (buzzing noise). I’m surprised that this seems to be a regular occurrence, as I have seen videos of A321neo takeoffs without a buzzing noise more commonly. Is this something to do with the training that the Jetstar Pilots got? Or do some of Australia’s runways require more takeoff thrust than I thought?

      The engine noise has nothing to do with pilot training, its just how these engines were designed. Jetstar has CFM Leap engines, which are known for their growling sound (unlike the PW1100G-JM, which are more boring and quiet) especially on the A321neo as they have a higher thrust rating than the A320neo. You'll also hear more buzzsaw in a more wet or humid environment. This isnt a TOGA takeoff because LEAPs can go higher than this (look up the Alaskan A321neo takeoff, that one has more buzzsaw and is higher pitched).

      @@RyanZ225_PC That makes sense… I’d say in a hot country like Australia and as an Aussie myself, the Buzzsaw would be a bit more regular.

      @@0ne-6right40 That makes sense as well, as in warmer environments you're more likely to have a lower FLEX temp for takeoff (higher thrust)
