Nice pickups, Phil! I love what Alessandro has done with Gucci. The baroque aromantic touches with the embroidery has given it a fun and retro vibe. The embroidered varsity jacket is my favorite. It's definitely a statement piece that one would wear for a special occasion this summer with white or light washed denim, white sneakers or your Princetown loafers. Congrats on the haul!

Too hot to handle! I started to watch your YT mostly on LV items. There were some shocking(?) design like The Chapman Brothers. Knowing you like them, it's not surprise that you have many Gucci by Alessandro Michele. The details are also amazing.
Haha. I wasn't a big fan pre-Alessandro, but now he's transformed the brand and has designed so many unique statement pieces. I don't think I could ever pull of a head-to-toe look, but adding one of his pieces to an outfit makes a great accent. Thank you for continuing to watch my videos! I believe you are my #1 fan 😊
The jacket is a trophy item but ya gotta wear them all ... I hope you have friends that appreciate all these treasures, please make some vids of you wearing the clothes
The boots are really cool. You can wear those with a suit or casual and they would look great either way. I also like the silk jacket you got, really a statement piece and what Gucci is all about. I’m curious if you like the Fall men’s line for 2018? There are several pieces that I have my eye on. Finding sizes seems to be an issue. I am pleasantly surprised you made that observation. I do tend to go for minimal design, but Gucci is just so fun after Alessandro took over. I don't think I could ever rock a head-to-toe Gucci look, but I think picking one Gucci piece with your outfit takes it to a new level.

I think I may want to get a pair to use as slippers at home...I think they're hideous and over the top, but something makes me want them lol. and they're comfortable.
It's my collector side and also because I don't typically wear any of these lux items to work.I think so? lol, I got the sneakers like two months ago. The only thing I don't like about the princetowns is that the leather sticks to my feet and makes a thwapping sound - trying to figure out a fix for it (that doesn't involve powder haha).
I think one of the snake version has crystals too. Have you seen the patches that attach to the shoe laces? I may consider getting one - would have to see in person first.

It's a good question; people rarely explain. Ready-to-wear means you can buy it pre-made and wear it, which is why there are sizes like small, medium, large etc. It's the opposite of made-to-order and couture which, as the name implies, made after you put an order in. Custom suits are made-to-order, since they take your measurement and you pick out what fabric and finish you want. RTW is also know as off-the-rack (because you buy them off of the rack).

Because I enjoy it and have decided I am willing to spend that much for it. If you don't like it and/or don't want to pay that much for it then it's not marketed towards you. Fashion is highly subjective and that's what makes it great. You need people to love and hate the same thing. If you follow my other videos, you know that I don't care if people know if it's Gucci or not. I do care if the quality is sub par though. This new direction of Gucci is definitely not for everyone, but Kering is laughing all the way to the bank with Alessandro Michele as the new creative director.

I do think Gucci is overpriced and they have had to start putting seasonal items on sale. Some comparable items are even more expensive than Louis Vuitton or Hermès! Their materials are nice, but I can't say if they're better than other luxury brands. I've thought about that before - I could have bought 3 pairs of Lanvin sneakers on sale for the price of one Gucci slipper, but when you like something, you like something.
